    14. Mongolian Soup
    Alicia D.

The woman there was nice but the server didn't know the answers to my questions so he had to ask her. My questions were, "Are glass noodles gluten free?" He asked the kitchen and they said yes but I ended up getting rice noodles instead anyway, I was just curious for the future. The rice noodles were pad Thai noodles and not the thin, vermicelli ones. My other question was, "Can I get the hot pot while my friend gets the pho?" You can't do this (not the AYCE option), which is understandable and fine, so she showed me the menu where you can get the Mongolian soup with all the hot pot broths and proteins. I've had hot pot in Vancouver, BC and asked for their spiciest, and it was the spiciest thing I've ever eaten a full meal of. So I got the medium spice and it wasn't spicy at all. And in fact, it was so bland, I saw there was salt on the table after I had finished and I thought, "That's what this was missing... salt!" The flavor was so non-existent it didn't even seem like they used salt. Which makes me sad. I wonder if the sweet and spicy broth had any flavor. The only thing I liked about the entire soup (I got the beef and meatballs and added pork belly) were surprisingly the meatballs, when I thought that sounded the least appealing. My friend said she enjoyed her pho, but I don't think I would even come back here to find out if I did too, and I work 3 minutes away. Also, they must have moved because the pictures of the outside have changed and there is no karaoke stage anymore. When I walked in at 6pm on a Wednesday, I was the first one there. Only two other tables showed up. It pains me to see people pour their hearts out into owning a restaurant only for it to be empty, but I sadly could also see why. It was nothing personal. Just lacking in quality taste. I wish them the best though, can't be easy to run a restaurant.

It seems like all-you-can-eat hot pot places are spreading like wild fire in the Beaverton area. We visited this one to see what separates it from the competition. We were happy to see a clean, well-organized shop with good-quality ingredients. Such as various kinds of noodle, mushroom and vegetable selections. You also get to order your own broths, we ordered the original and the Pho broth and liked both. There were a lot of protein options on the menu and you get to order certain amount for the first round. You will get to repeat the process if you can for all you can eat price. (P.S.-That's a lot of meat.) While we both enjoyed the hotpot experience, we would rather have less food and pay less, as we only ordered one round of protein and the bill was, of course, was a set an all-you-can-eat price. Anyways, it was still a good experience for anyone likes hot pot. We would recommend it.

Ha Noi Hot Pot is back open!   I am thrilled to welcome this family-owned restaurant back to the neighborhood. It has relocated to the Orenco area, and this small restaurant is clean and beautifully decorated.   In addition to their all-you-can-eat hot pot menu, they now offer an à la carte menu featuring popular Vietnamese dishes.   The food is as amazing as I remembered. The soups are delicious and flavorful, and the meats are high quality. I especially love the self-serve hot bar and the vegetable bar; they really enhance the overall experience.   Ha Noi Hot Pot is not a large chain restaurant but a local mom-and-pop establishment. While it may lack in ambiance and branding, it more than makes up for it with extremely friendly service and delicious food.   The prices are a bit higher than they were before, which is my only drawback. However, I understand this increase since they are a small business.   Since they've just reopened, please be patient with the service during the first few weeks. I look forward to coming back again.

So I really wanted to like this place and based on the positive reviews a lot of people do! To be fair the interior is beautifully decorated and everything is brightly lit and very clean - very modern vibes. There is a stage for karaoke so definitely great for big groups. But for their regular price, I didn't think it was worth it and the broths at other AYCE hot pot places in the area are more rich and better. You get to pick up to 2 different soup bases and choose your meats from the menu and they give you portions based on your group size. I did appreciate the self-serve toppings station (veggies, noodles, tofu, fish balls, etc) and also the appetizers, fruits, desserts (sesame balls, a small coconut cake thing) and then a sauce bar. I guess maybe because it's a Vietnamese hot pot place they didn't have sesame paste as a sauce base. Service was friendly but average. Overall I wasn't super impressed but I'm glad I gave this place a try.

A compelling alternative to the Little Sheep franchise in Beaverton. One can make an argument that Little Sheep offers more variety but in exchange here's a new place that you won't need to stand in line for 30 minutes or more just to be seated on a busy night... What I enjoy is the remnants of the Indian buffet islands offer you a selection of vegetables at any time you want to walk up and grab some. So for you vegetarians this is a score. As for the proteins pork belly, beef and shrimp I'd say are the best choices or any of the seafoods. The chicken meat is certainly sliced chicken breast and it's fine but me personally hot pot with chicken breast turns into very dry protein. What I'm most impressed with is the layout and what appears to be ample seating. Especially for parties of 2-4. It'll get complicated for 5 but there are larger round tables on the back side so not to worry unless it's packed. As for the pricing, it's simply competitive to the area and the cuisine. Heavy eaters will get the value, light eaters not so much as typical AYCE places go. They also have cooked cuisines on the island which is a nice add. I haven't been back to try the single noodle soup bowls yet but look forward to it. I can't say this is a place that comes to mind all the time but I'm very thankful it's around and it's good for the money.

As someone who craves hot pot almost weekly, I knew I had to try this place as soon as I heard about it. My husband and I happened to be the very first customers today and had no idea! We tried a variety of things and rated based on different categories: Food: There are 8 different soup bases that you can select from. We chose half and half with half mild spicy and half medium spicy soup. You can definitely taste and see the difference in spiciness between the two. You can order your meat and seafood selections from the menu and grab your meatballs, noodles and vegetables from the self service bar. They had a majority of the menu items at the self service bar but were missing a few items. There is a sauce bar free of charge but I would prefer more clear signage and more garnishes such as green onion, cilantro, etc. The meat would come out in different quantities and was a little confusing. Our pork belly would come out in a set of 14 in the first round but only 7 in the second round and the beef would come out in small quantities only. The fish fillet came out in a huge batch the first round that we didn't need to order any more after. It was hard to determine how many rounds we should order as we didn't want to waste food if we ended up with a bigger batch. Service: Granted that it was their very first day, things were a little slower than expected. However, the staff were very nice and would ask if the food was ok or if we needed any refills. We had to ask for a couple of things (tongs and ladle) but I think it was because they weren't fully set up when we arrived. Ambiance: The space was nice and clean but there was no music. We felt that the ambiance could improve if they added in some music to enjoy instead of hearing random conversations. They have a giant TV above the self service bar that could be utilized to entertain guests. Price: There is only 1 price of All You Can Eat for $40 per person. There is a discount for kids between ages 3 - 5. I found this to be a bit pricey compared to Happy Lamb (another AYCE hot pot) as they have more of a selection. However, they charge more for the sauce bar and do not have a self service bar. We did receive a discount for coming on their opening day so we did feel that the price was appropriate for the food and service that we received. TLDR: This was our first time dining at an AYCE hot pot place with a self service bar. I think if you want to get an endless amount (and I mean endless) of noodles, veggies and meatballs, you can get your money's worth. Otherwise I believe the amount of meat you get won't suffice and you'll start to feel full while waiting for the next round. I think this place has potential and can't wait to try again once they get into a rhythm!

This was a fun one! It felt like home but with fancier plates and utensils. The servers were really nice! They were super accommodating with my partner's fish allergy. We came as a group of 4, but they let us sit at two different tables, side by side, so one pot was fish-free. I'm not sure if they'd be able to accompany us like this if they were busier, but we have plans to return! Especially after hearing that they're getting a whole Karaoke set up! The buffet food (fried rice, chicken wings, gyozas?, and ribs) weren't great. The fried rice was really dry and flavorless. They have a good selection of veggies, and I always love the meat balls. I'm not sure if they advertised this well, but it's all-you-can-eat! We ordered the beef, pork, pork belly, chicken, fish, octopus, shrimp, and lamb. My family enjoyed the lamb and said the shrimp was deliciously sweet. We weren't a fan of the beef. The pork was good though!

Tom yum broth on the left and I forgot the other one but it was tasty

First time trying out Hanoi Hot Pot. The broth was very tasty and meat, seafoods along with the vegetables were fresh. They even have fresh noodles and some dry noodles as well that you can cook in the broth. The staffs were really helpful and friendly. They kept eyes on us to check if we need anything and then brought us whatever we need. The restaurant is clean and neatly stocked with a lot of sides to go with the hot pot. The restaurant is nicely decorated. They have plenty of street parking and also parking lot on the back side. We will definitely be back. Nice find and a gem. Highly recommended.

Food is fresh and service is fast. I was going to take pictures of our hot pot but sadly was too hungry and forgot. I did manage to get noodles at the end. Very good food.

This is a pretty neat concept with a variety of different broths to choose from for the soup base. We had the sweet and sour (Vietnamese style) and medium spicy broth. It's nice that they have the veggies, cold meats, and warm food at the counter so you can grab them at your leisure. The service was a bit slower than expected, and it took a while to get out our meats that we ordered. Instead of bringing all the meats we ordered, it was brought out individually, and it took about 5-10 minutes for e each to come out. While waiting, we mainly grabbed the items from the counter to snack on, which my friend didn't really want to do because he wanted the protien. I wouldn't mind trying them again in the future as I am curious about the other flavors of broth.

Hot pot on a cold December day? Count me in. The place is new, very clean, and the service was prompt and super friendly. We picked the double pot with spicy and regular soup. The soup tasted of Chinese herbs and is on par with most of the hotpot places around. You can see all the same ingredients. The meat came quickly. The beef doesn't have the gimmick of "beef xyz from abc" captions but was tender. Refills for seconds was pretty fast too. The place was about half full . I do like the fact you can go get the veggies yourself. I didn't have to wait and can take as much of the ones I like. It feels a lot more relaxed to dine here than the other hotpot places. I think it feels like a locally owned place where the 4 servers came to check on you, and feels less industrial. It just feels more cozy and comfortable. Only thing I wished was more sauce options like sesame paste and satey sauce. But the garlic and pickled peppers were great. The mango lassi (free) was a nice touch - tasted like yacult yogurt drink and is refreshing after all the heavy tastes

Currently our favorite hot pot place in town and we've been a few times. It's all you can eat and they have a variety of ingredients to choose from. We absolutely love that the veggies and noodles are self-serve and we love the sauce bar. Their meat is of good quality and there are many beef cuts. Seafood is also included in the price, although we aren't seafood eaters. We also frequent Happy Lamb but it can be a bit crowded and chaotic there at times. The staff is friendly to us, especially now that we have gone on multiple occasions. While their service used to be a bit slow when they first started out, it has improved a lot since.

We came to try it out since I seen it on Fb! The soup was super good , I'd recommend one spicy and like a hot and sour or the tomato broth so you don't constantly have super spicy broth! It was 30% off when we came due to soft opening Seafood is frozen but was not bad . The meat was mid but I definitely liked the Boths and the fried chicken The sauce bar was okay . The didn't have some of the usual things like Seasame paste and green onions but it was not bad

Dessert bar- sesame doughnuts, fruits, taro and pumpkin chips.
