I am super glad that I got to work with HJ auto for my car! I got in touch with Shanni to answer a few questions about a BMW 535i and over two weeks she answered all my emails and occasional call while being flexible with my work schedule. Other dealerships would ignore my emails after some time since I can't call them during normal hours, but Shanni was always prompt and courteous over email. Other places wanted me to call in to "show" that I was really interested, but HJ Auto was honest with me throughout the entire process. This is huge for me because of my work schedule! When others became interested in the car, she updated me ASAP and offered to hold the vehicle for me! If it wasn't for her reaching out to me then I would've missed out on the car! She was very understanding and addressed all my questions and concerns and even went out of her way to get me extra info about the car's history and being cool with having an inspection done. The car was missing a 2nd keyfob because of the previous owner, but HJ Auto still offered to help me with getting another keyfob. When I flew down to check out the car, it was in great condition. I brought a friend with me who is pretty handy with BMWs and he said the car was well taken care of. I drove off with my dream car at a good price in an hour and a half. She took care of all the paperwork and DMV docs. This was my first car purchase (and long distance at that), but it went very smoothly because of the awesome service HJ provided! the only thing nice i can say was mars was a great rep over the phone. the manager referred to his coworkers as "the chinese" i found that to be completely inappropriate. he was very rude and didnt know the history of the car. i had every intention on buying the red nissan altima coupe year 2010 miles 63,923 for $7,880. i believe he thought i wanted to finance. this was a terrible experience i drove so far and the rep mars knew it was a far drive he was so great !! he should be the sales manager!!! the sales manager was a heavy set caucasian man maybe mixed with hispanic. he had no knowledge of the history on the car which was appalling to me being that you want me to pay thousands. terrible experience do not go !!!!! maybe call and ask how mars day is going working under that fool! i will never recommend or return. -ashley read more

We found a car on cars.com that we were interested in. We emailed HJ Auto Group and received a call from David within an hour. We made arrangements to go to the dealership which was 100 miles away. Upon arrival we were greeted by David who was very friendly and warm. After taking a test drive we knew that we wanted to purchase the vehicle. The process from beginning to end was seamless and very professional. David agreed to repaint the back bumper as we noticed 2 spots that had been damaged. We have purchased many cars over the years, and this was by far our most pleasant experience. We felt we left the dealership with David as a friend that we could call for assistance anytime. It's my fourth time purchasing car with HJ Auto Group. I got a 2016 BMW X5 last year, then switch to a 2005 Bentley GT, and 2013 Bentley GT. Last month I got my fourth one 2014 Porsche Panamera. I'm living in Berkeley area. Everytime they give my free one-day shipping service. All experience I had was great except the 2005 Bentley, but I understand it's a old car so I choose to believe them. Very professional and helpful sales staff. They buy their cars from auctions and wholesalers, but they do not inspect the cars well enough to understand their problems. Had a shop check a very expensive car out HJ was selling on the lower end (~$70K) of appraisal as a clean car. Found close to ~$10K in problems that were fairly obvious. Not sure how many other problems were not obvious, but not willing to take that risk. Be careful when buying. All is not as appears on the surface and this dealer was not providing any information on the problems. read more

This business lacks good management and it is clearly having some internal issues at the moment. I did not buy a car from them but I am giving this place 5 stars because of Oscar. If you want to lease, finance, or order a vehicle; avoid this place because they cannot really help you out due to terrible management; however, if you are looking to purchase a vehicle from them with cash, go for it.
