I ordered the Dreamer arrangement yesterday for my niece and her new baby. She had a girl and I wanted this particular bouquet because of the pretty pink vase. The girl dropped off the flowers just as I was leaving my nieces house just now and not only was the arrangement half the size of what I requested ( and I even asked how big it was and was told it's a big arrangement ) but the vase was a diff style and color. I had originally considered making my own floral bouquets for my wedding but my husband and maid of honor talked some sense into me and I'm glad they did! I found HK 1 month before my wedding and they re-created my Pinterest inspired floral bouquets to a T! Jos was able to give me alternatives even to be able to re-create but be a little more cost effective bc the flowers I loved were not in season. Wow. I called this morning at 9am to have flowers delivered to my Mother for Valentine's Day. I was told they would be delivered between 1-5pm. I check back at 5:30pm just to make sure that the flowers were delivered and the lady tells me that all orders went out already. I call my Mom very excited to see her reaction to receiving the flowers and she says nothing was sent. WTH?!!! They now tell me the order was missed. Wow. This place is amazing and Daniel is truly a stand up guy. It was the easiest and best priced flower shop I've ever delt with. It was mine and my girls 4 year anniversary and I wanted 4 dozen red roses and needed them delivered the same day and within a couple hours to top it off (I know, I could be difficult). Daniel said no problem! I couldn't think of what to have him write on the card, so he suggested I think about it and text him what I would like written on it, I mean cmon, that's solid! I feel sad to do this 2 star review as HK flowers did a wonderful job on previous occasion. That being said, yelpers need to be aware of how careless/forgetful these guys were with my order (it deserves zero stars). I called in around 11.30 a.m. on a Thursday and wanted to an get arrangement done for my wife's birthday. I selected an item from their website and the person said it could be done by 4 pm (not sooner as they were busy with providing flowers to a function/party). I went to the store at 4.30 p.m. to pick up the arrangement and they have forgotten about my order. And the designer has left the store at 4 pm and there was no way for person in the store to create the arrangement. They offered me a replacement from what was available in the store; but these arrangements looked old and the flowers were dying/have faded. I had no problems getting my refund; but I was extremely disappointed and frustrated. One of the main things I expect from a florist is reliability and I did not get this from HK.... read more

My girlfriend and I dropped in to pickup sunflowers for an impromptu photoshoot today and Carmen and (her mother?) were extremely kind to us both. They dressed up the sunflowers we picked out so my girlfriend could wear it on her wrist and one for my shirt pocket. I tried to pay for them with a $20 for the $1 per flower she quoted me for when I initially called in to ask about the cost and give them a tip but she waived me off in paying in generous fashion, despite my insistence. I was a little annoyed on my way in to the shop because of my late start to the day and left with a smile and appreciating the way they turned my day around with a renewed excitement to take our photos.
