As people have said, they offer a vegan bowl but I got one that had a piece of shrimp in it. Avoid if you have any kind of allergy or eating restriction. I added a star because they gave me a refund.

Beef with spicy sambal sauce and coconut curry save over leafy greens! With some peanuts and crispy garlic bits to top it off!!

Holy cow ho Lee chow is amazing! Just what I needed for my workweek lunch fix. The flavors are amazing and I love how I can structure my lunch; aka low carb days for daze! The staff is super friendly and did I mention that the food was awesome??

Rice noodles with porky belly, cauliflower, pickled daikon, and crispy garlic $10.88 amazingness!

Above and beyond exceeded my expectation for a good truck. I got the pork belly with rice noodles and coconut curry, cauliflower, and crispy garlic! The only small request I should've made was for more sauce I personally like all my food soaked but besides that it was so good. Huge portion and for only $11.38 out the door! I hope it comes to Pennsylvania street more often

Second visit today. I got the salmon and salad bowl. It was pretty good, but I think I preferred my last bowl.

Food was NOT good. Rice was very mushy. I could count the chicken on one hand that was in the bowl. Not recommended.

Every time I've seen them, they are parked in Sawtelle, on Sawtelle & Mississippi Ave right outside Daiso. The JFC Bowl. It seems this is the star and it's what I got at Gozen. JFC = Japanese Fried Chicken bowl, it is karage topped with a lot of goodness, including spicy mayo. It has a kick to it in all the right ways, full of flavor. The fluffy dog is just $5 and so original and cool. It's messy as heck, got some spicy kick to it and at least for me, totally filling. I'm going to have a hard time ever ordering anything besides my magical bowl moving forward. Legit good food and I'm wanting to eventually try their whole menu once I can move past my JFC.

The kaarage ($7) was well cooked - chicken was tender and moist with a nice crust and the spicy Mayo was the perfect complement Rice cake bonito ($2) was decent - nice to have a warm thick rice cake with just enough bonito seasoning. After you order you can spin a game to win prizes. Mostly likely you'll win some rice cracker and hi chew but you could win a fun mask or a cool Gozen tshirt!

Wow, this place is truly one of a kind. For me, it's the best Mexican food in LA…read more I ordered the chicken burrito with cheese, and it was outstanding. The meat was heated right in front of me and was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and well-seasoned. The salsas paired perfectly with the burrito, and everything was made and rolled to order. The stand itself is small, but the staff was friendly, respectful, and efficient. Even with a line when I arrived, they prepared my food quickly without sacrificing quality. I'll definitely be coming back.

*** Cash only ***…read more One day I was near Sawtelle and saw a long line at this taco stand, so I decided to check it out and added it to my bookmark. Recently I finally had a chance to give this place a try. Apparently this taco stand has two nearby locations - one on Sawtelle Blvd and this newer second location on S Sepulveda Blvd just a few blocks away. [Parking]: Easy free parking in the lot shared with CVS Pharmacy. [Atmosphere]: The taco stand has a bench and chairs for customers to sit on. [Menu]: Yelp's top highlighted items are Al Pastor Burrito/Tacos and Carne Asada Burrito/Tacos. $2 per taco, $10 for rice/bean/meat burrito, $13 for meat-only burrito, and extra $1 with cheese. Customers can add their own grilled onions and other condiments. I sampled the mild cactus salsa and it was actually quite flavorful. *** Al pastor taco ($2): It came with a double layer of tortillas and the al pastor tasted a bit dry. *** A decent grab-and-go taco spot in West LA, but I still prefer al pastor tacos from Angel's Tijuana Tacos.
