    Bc Fries

Ordered C Momo and the BC fries and wow that is a good combo. Went medium spicy could have gone spicier. The pan fried dumplings in this garlic sauce is awesome. And the butter chicken on the fries really really good. I'd go back for the butter chicken any time alone. Can't wait to try more of the dumplings. They made it quick at the busy event @stfoodcinema that @YelpLA gave me tickets to. Awesome event really cool idea pairing a park movie and food trucks right downtown. They had some pop up shops as well. Great DJ pre show and really cool people all around.

Delicious! I live down the street and have been meaning to try this truck for a while. Walked down tonight and ordered the Butter Chicken momo. It was so good! And was a big portion- 10 dumplings and a salad. Will be returning and can't wait to try the other dishes!

Location: As of 4/20/23 they are located on Venice Blvd in front of the Smart & Final (10113 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90034) Tues-Sat 12PM-10PM. Sundays, they are in North Hollywood at the Vegan Exchange (5300 Bakman Ave, North Hollywood, CA 91601). Recommended to call ahead, just to confirm their location and time, as some food trucks have events. Review: I caught them as they were closing and they were so nice to take my order. I ordered a variety of their dishes to try. Overall I'd recommend them and I look forward to going back when I need my Himalayan momo fix (plus other dishes). What I ordered to-go, Thursday 4/20/23: 1) C-Momo - veggie option: I went looking for this dish and I enjoyed it. The sauce is slightly sweet and you can taste the bell pepper. Inside is a mixture of veggies like cabbage, mushrooms. Delicious. 2) The Classic Momo - veggie option: great option for classic pan fried dumplings. 3) Buddha bowl: veggies are chopped fresh for your order. So if there is a veggie you don't want they can exclude it. Nice dish for day of or I enjoyed the flavors next day. 4) Yeti Chow - veggie (no tofu) option: Delicious and nice sauce option to pour on top of the noodles

On 4/29/23, the Momo Fomo food truck is located on South Avenue 21 at the entrance of The Brewery Art Walk. Two guys working, one cooking, one taking orders. Main dishes range from $12 to $15, sodas/water are $2. Cash or credit accepted. We ordered The Classic vegan pan-fried dumplings and the Yeti noodles with tofu. (Both also can be ordered with chicken or beef). Twenty minutes in line to order, another 20 to receive our piping hot food. Delicious! I would order from them again, to try other main dishes!

I was blown away by the service. We were seated quickly in a hip and classy, but very casual sitting area outside, and our server was extremely kind and helpful with menu questions from start to finish. Drink-wise, I ordered the frozen slushee, and it was delicious. For our food, we had the bread plate (delicious), green papaya salad (amazing balance of sweet and spicy notes), Brussels sprouts (on the spicy side, but so good), and potato wedges (great crunch, and the aioli was superb). We each got our own larger plate: I ordered the moo yang, which was absolutely terrific with a great balance of flavors. My spouse ordered the yaki udon and only had great things to say! The show-stopper of the night, however, was the s'mores ice cream. Order this. Just do it -- you'll thank me later! Plenty of parking nearby in lots, and so much to do in this area of Culver City! This will be our new splurge spot, as it's somewhat pricey overall, but *definitely* worth every penny. I can't wait to return!

Colony has both inside and outside seating which looks so cozy. Since I was in a hurry, I had mine to go. When I got home, I was very surprised to see how big their portions are. That explains why I thought the bag was too heavy. I had the Grilled Chicken Steak with Black Pepper Sauce and a side of spaghetti. I ate half of everything and ate the other half the next day so you can actually split it with another person. Everything was so delicious including the lemon tea I had. I was pretty satisfied and I can't wait to try other items on the menu.

We had the baked pork chop so food took about 20 / 25 minutes or so to come out. Tasted just like childhood! Milk tea also tasted very familiar. I was happy about these two items. The grilled chicken with black pepper sauce was just so so in comparison. Gave it 3 stars because there were flies flying around the patio. Covered trash cans might reduce this problem a bit. Price is also on the higher side. $6 milk tea was not very worth it. And they charged you some sort of fee (see pic) that I wasn't aware of, did not expect extra fee when ordered at the location and not doordash.

We got Roti Curry, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Jade (green) Curry with Chicken. Everything was delicious, especially the curries. The yellow curry sauce that came with the Roti was really tasty; and the green curry with the chicken was also exquisite. The two noodles were excellent. Portions were good and the ingredients were fresh and generous. The prawns in the Pad Thai were plump, fresh, and plentiful. Prices were reasonable. Will try dining in when I get a chance. Pineapple. Fried. Rice…read more I would just leave this comment because it was the definite star of the show for me!! My sugar sugar and I were looking for a place to have lunch with our daughter and saw this out the corner of our eyes. We pass it all the time but never thought to stop. One thing I love is some good Thai food. I'm from Long Beach and we're know for Thai food! So I have high expectations!!! There's certain cultures that absolutely cook with love and Thai food is at the top of that list. The marriage of flavors are unique and divine. BKK101 does just that!! We were greet with warmth and offered to sit anywhere we like. Since our daughter is young they brought us a high chair and a kids cup to keep her occupied (thank you!). I love the look and feel of the place. Small but inviting. We ordered veggie spring rolls, shrimp pineapple fried rice, and yellow curry with tofu. The curry came with a side of white rice too! Spring rolls were delicious with the right amount of crunch but the sauce. The sauce. The sauce. Yummers! Almost licked the plate! Yellow curry with tofu was heavenly. The right amount of heat, flavor and veggies. I loved the potatoes and carrots and the baby did too! But the show stopper for me was the pineapple fried rice. Who would have thought cashews and raisins in some rice would taste so good!!!! It was cooked perfectly!!! Right amount of curry and veggies. I wanted it for myself but my mama taught me that sharing is caring. All items were piping hot meaning, they cook to order. (Chefs kiss inserted here) When I say this place was so good we actually went back a week and a half later and took another daughter with us. Got literally the same dishes cuz they were sooooo good! BKK101 Thai Cuisine is officially our "Thai Spot". Thank you for sharing your story through food with us.
