BEWARE - Do not take your Subaru to the service department here. So ever since powder coating my wheels less than a month ago, http://imgur.com/a/jbhf1, I have had this clicking in my left front wheel. I took the car into the Hodges cause I was at a loss of where it could be coming from and just wanted to know what it was so I could fix it. I have taken my car to this dealership before and they seemed to have treated it nice and have good reviews. So, get a call and they say they cannot hear the clicking so I speak to the service manager, Greg, and he takes it for a ride and he did hear it. They tell me they inspected the brakes and the suspension and they think it's the brakes. I go and pick up the car and drive home. Two days later I'm washing the car and notice that the powder coat is chipped off on 2 of my wheels near the lug nuts. http://imgur.com/a/Uka6T So I spoke with the service manager and he told me they never took the wheels off. So they inspected the brakes without taking the wheels off? I took the car up there and they looked at it, took some pictures, and called me today saying that they didn't take the wheels off so they didn't cause the damage. I'm super bummed cause the wheels have to be re powder coated and I haven't even had them for a month. I think it's really crappy for Hodges to deny the damages. This is a pretty clear cut case of dealership damage. I called and left a message for the owner but haven't heard from him. I will edit my review once I hear back from him. Your move Hodges. Edit: spoke with the owner Felipe Mendiola and here is his response to the $300 estimated damage on my wheels. Mind you these are stock wheels with stock lug nuts. Hey Christian. If all those marks happens from onetime wheel r n r. You won't have any paint left after 4 wheel rotation. Paints shouldn't have chipped that dramatically, it doesn't matter who does the wheel removal. My offer stands for a 25$ service coupon. Not that I am admitting fault just trying To help out. FM So, Hodges did and estimated $300 worth of damage to my newly powder coated wheels and they offer me a $25 service coupon. Seems reasonably right? Edit: So the owner replied below and basically is asking if I chipped them myself. Not a bad route to take but in this case I have pictures of the wheels after powder coat, after I installed the wheels with my expensive lug nuts, as well as pictures of my wheels with the stock lug nuts that show no damage done by myself. Good try but again a a fail for your dealership. Trying to blame the customer will not work and I hope other customers who care about their Subarus will not give you any business. Went to Hodges Subaru today for an oil change... they asked me if my car came with the leather seats to which I answered, "Those are seat covers." After cashing out with them and getting back into my car I noticed the driver side seat cover was removed to the point of barely hanging on... sagging off of the front of the seat. Who does that?! The cover takes some effort to remove. It doesn't just fall out. It was frustrating because it takes a bit of work to put back in it's place and it makes me think someone was scoping around the interior of my vehicle. I left feeling uncomfortable with the service. The service was friendly and fast... but who tears out someone's custom seat cover? read more

I went in with the goal of getting information on possibly ending my lease early and purchasing a used Subaru. After about three hours at the dealership, they finally told me there was nothing they could do for me. So I said okay and left. No big deal. A couple weeks later I got a phone call from a salesman saying they could take another look and see if they could help me out. This was the same person who told me he couldn't just a couple weeks earlier. I also started getting personalized emails soliciting my business, asking what they could do to get me back in there. Each time I replied, asking for an appointment on one of their longer hour days, but never received a response of confirmation. I understand they've just relocated, but I don't think that's any excuse for not having their information in order and providing poor customer service. I am very pleased with how Hodges Subaru has treated me through the purchase of a used vehicle to a recent need for significant repairs. First, I traded in a vehicle to the dealership and they provided me with a very reasonable offer that was close to blue book. That's always nice to be treated fairly... and unexpected at most car dealerships. The sales associate that helped move me through the used car buying process was Sheri and she was fantastic. Very friendly and responsive to questions. She actually provides her work e-mail so you can send her questions and she is always quick to respond. Sheri also assisted me when I had to have my vehicle towed back to Hodges at a later date. The service department has also treated me very fairly. As I mentioned, I purchased a used vehicle from the dealership and it experienced some significant trouble shortly after its purchase. As everyone is aware most used cars do not have warranties and are sold as is. This was the case in the vehicle I purchased. Despite this, the service department treated me very fairly and graciously worked on me with the repair cost. Many people reading this would say, they should have done that; however, how many car dealerships do you know would work with a customer on price without a warranty? The service manager called me (Jeff?) and he took time to explain everything to me as well. Compared to other dealership experiences I have had, this place is the tops. After two years of Subaru ownership, it's high time I updated this review. If love is what makes a Subaru a Subaru, then my slow-burning romance reached that honeymoon period when my beloved vehicle made it through a Michigan winter without one white-knuckled moment of slipping or losing traction on our terrible roads. I renew that love in every moment of inclement weather or the hair-raising commute down I-75, like this morning, when some driver decided to slam on their brakes. I narrowly avoided a pile-up thanks to my Subaru's ABS systems, while the drivers behind me will be making insurance claims. The basis of this review relies on the parts and service department, rather than the new/used purchase. Read my previous review for an accounting of how that turned out. I owe my chariot's fine condition to my partnership with Hodges Subaru, which fast became my local dealership of choice. Proximity to my home helps and Hodges has the hometown feel due to its relatively small footprint, rather than those huge, sprawling dealerships full of a hundred cars and a changing array of salespeople. I meet the same people whenever I come in to the service department, and while not on a face-to-face basis with the mechanics, I recognize the fine technicians helping me to keep Zorya (my vehicle) in prime condition. One huge plus: the online reservation system allows for a quick survey of the service area's schedule. No more waiting on hold or playing calendar roulette trying to find an opening! Better yet, the system accommodates notes and selecting issues, much like I wish physicians' offices had, so I can track those pernicious little issues rather than forgetting them while on the spot. Hodges accepts over the phone or drop in requests, and even better, they offer evening and Saturday hours for those of us with 9-to-5 jobs. Mike in particular has helped me troubleshoot issues, saving me hundreds of dollars. Yes, you read that right. The dealership actually saved me money. I'm a firm advocate in knowing a good independent mechanic, especially when your dealership isn't down the road. This may be the first time I kindled a firm relationship with a local dealership, due in large part to the service team's ability to diagnose the issues with my vehicle and offer an alternative that did not force a new, expensive fix or diagnostic test. When it looked like I might be out a couple hundred dollars for a problem, he and the tech discovered an oil filter hadn't been installed correctly at my last oil change. They put me on the road with money still in my bank account, and Zorya continues to operate wonderfully. The service department also followed up later in the week to determine whether the vehicle performed as well as she should, which I appreciated. Admittedly a phone call and a few emails started to feel a bit like an interested date, though I can say I was steadfastly satisfied with the work. Plus, the new Ferndale facilities near the 8 Mile and Woodward interchange far and away beat their old ones! If you've only seen the old Woodward and Cambridge location, give the new spot a gander. Bright lines and fresh lines benefit the service area, and the waiting room has a Keurig machine, lots of fresh magazines, comfy seats, and even a play area for little ones behind a solid, kid-friendly fence just in case you have toddlers. PRO TIP: The service entrance is tight. Go extra slow taking that right into the bay unless you're irritated by your paint job. read more

My wife and I recently purchased (5/20) a new 2014 Forester 2.5i Premium from Danielle Isabell at Hodges Subaru. I cannot stress how good the experience was from start to finish. Danielle did a superb job of assisting us, from internet inquiry all the way through delivery of our new car. Neither my wife or I particularly enjoy the process of purchasing a new car. But Danielle gained our trust early on. She was always timely with replies, she was polite and courteous, she was very easy to talk to and put us at ease. When we arrived at the dealership to test drive vehicles she was with another customer but came over to let us know she would be right with us. Danielle made sure to answer my wife's questions and set her at ease, something too many salespeople fail to do. She even asked about my wife when I took delivery since she could not come and asked me to say hi, a very nice personal touch. Danielle followed up with me even on her day off, and answered all my questions. She was able to swing a dealer trade for the our preferred color and was able to get it done quickly. Price negotiations were done quickly and fairly. I believe I received an excellent price on not only my new Subaru, but also on my trade-in. Danielle was clearly interested in not just making a sale, but also in satisfying us as customers. When I arrived to take delivery she had everything prepped and I was in and out the door in about 30 minutes (which allowed me to watch my Red Wings!!!). Since taking delivery she has followed up personally to make sure that everything was too our satisfaction. Bottom line, this was the best overall car purchase experience we have ever had. I shopped at Suburban and Glassman first because they happened to have cars I was interested in in-stock, but I was truly happy to give my business to Hodges. I called Lindsey at Hodges on a Friday at 5:45 (they close at 6) because it was brought to my attention that they had a 6-speed 2013 Legacy in stock. I let her know I was interested in the car, and she got everything rolling...I was set to pick up my new car the following Monday. I was also able to make a service appointment for my WRX that coincided with picking up the Legacy...perfect! On Monday, Lindsey welcomed me and had most of the paperwork ready to go. I handed the WRX over to service, Jeff was very friendly and eager to get working on the recalls on the car. I took the Legacy for a quick test drive to make sure it would be to my liking, which it was. While the finance paperwork was being written up, Lindsey reviewed key points in the owners manual and features of the Legacy with me. All that was left was signing and driving away! Hodges made it so simple and pleasant to get into my first brand-spankin' new car. There was nothing "sales"-y about the experience; no pressure, nothing cheesy, no surprises. On Tuesday or Wednesday (I forget!), the WRX was ready. Picking it up was a breeze; I signed the invoice, they gave me a run-down of what was fixed/tested, and walked me to my car. They had even washed it(!), which I really appreciated because it was filthy, and hey, it's cold outside in January, I don't want to wash my car. Shady service practice. I had a driver's seat that would no longer adjust forward and backward. It got stuck in a far forward position, which was very uncomfortable. The service representative had me sign an agreement to pay $140 for diagnostic work, then later informed me that it repairing it was not possible and that it would be over $1600 to replace it. I knew it could be repaired, and said so. After consulting with the mechanic, the service rep acknowledged that it could be repaired, but said that they would not do it for "liability reasons". So after getting it repaired elsewhere for $130, I called to complain about being charged $140 for them to decline to fix it. The service rep said, "no, we didn't decline to repair it, you declined to replace it." That's a well-practiced snappy semantic answer in what is probably a frequent conversation with dissatisfied customers. It is a fact that I wisely declined to replace it, and also a fact that they declined to repair it. But he knew they had a policy only to replace seats but never to repair them when I brought the vehicle in. He could've informed me of the policy at that time, rather than having me sign a $140 agreement for them to do fake diagnostic work. The only reason for having the customer sign that agreement is so that they make money whether the customer decides to replace the seat or not. It's a shady practice. Not only will I not use their service department again, but I will also buy my next Subaru from a different dealership. If you can't trust their service department, you probably can't trust their sales department either. read more

Should not even get 1 star. To say that I am dissatisfied with the service would be a huge understatement! I will be making a complaint with Subaru customer service and the BBB. After my vehicle sat for a month waiting to be diagnosed I was charged a $60 fee to charge a "low battery". The battery was fine when it was brought in, logically a battery will get low if it's sits and is not started for a month. I should not have been charged for that. Also, I was without a vehicle, no loaner vehicle was "available" and I could not afford to rent a vehicle as I am low income. My daughter, who has disabilities, missed therapy, school and medical appointments and I missed several days of work. Jeremy was extremely rude each time I spoke with him. They could have been a little nice and understanding, a simple "I'm sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you" would have made a huge difference. Instead, I was made to feel worse when the rep yelled at me saying they are backed up with too many vehicles to repair. I left the dealership shaking and near tears I was so mad and upset. I've been going to Hodges Subaru for years but will not return, EVER. I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. I paid about $250 for an "oil change". The least they could have done was waive the fee for charging my battery as it clearly was low from sitting at the dealership for a month! I could have charged it myself. Also, under the terms of my warranty I should have been provided a loaner vehicle free of charge. I will be posting this review everywhere I can. I am absolutely disgusted and find this unacceptable. read more

I dealt with John Gawaran as my sales guy. I had been searching the entire state for a 2014 wrx hatchback (may 2014, they were all but gone) and every dealer so far told me it was impossible to get one. I submitted an app through costco car buying service, and lo and behold, John G. called me back the following morning letting me know someone just backed out of buying a 2014 wrx hatchback, in silver. I put the deposit down over the phone, sight unseen, and made an arrangement to be there immediately (as soon as I could sneak out of work). John G. was very no-pressure, when they couldnt match my trade-in price from another competitor, he took the difference off on the price of the car. We were able to get everything finalized very quickly. I setup to take delivery 2 days later when I could get my title brought in for my current vehicle. John Z, the finance manager was able to secure me a very competitive rate on the subaru, and was also no pressure. I loved dealing with the entire staff. Bill Garcia, the co-owner stopped by to introduce himself while we finalized everything and was also a very friendly and genuinely nice guy. Overall, the entire staff at Hodges was great to deal with. John followed up promptly after I took delivery to make sure my first weekend went well. He also spent about 2 hours driving around with me to make sure I was comfortable with the car (its been 10 years since Ive driven a stick, and the WRX is one quick ride.) He even went out of his way to pair my phones (work and personal) with my car's bluetooth and showed me how to use the commands as well. If you're looking for an awesome dealership, with a no BS approach, I'd recommend Hodges any day, ask for John G. Since then the general manager TJ and the owner Bill both Reached out to me regarding the situation. They wanted to see if I would give them another chance to fix the issue. I did not purchase my 2016 Forester from Hodges but have been going here for maintenance, recalls and tires. I asked about tires in 2019 and had them order a set. Upon arrival the service advisor said your tires are fine and you can wait another year if you like (which I did) and had no problems. I went in this fall for my tires, 2 recalls and an oil change. The advisor said you don't need an oil change yet and you can wait if you like (which I did) . WOW....most stores would have just done the requested repairs without question but I was so impressed with their honesty and integrity. After some less than optimal experiences at the subaru dealer near their apartment- we found Danielle at Hodges who was absolutely delightful to work with. She was knowledgeable about the car, willing to work with us to find the cars we wanted and once they arrived she arranged to have my daughters picked up and brought to Hodges to accept their cars. She gave them very detailed instructions on all aspects of the car from setting up Bluetooth to winter driving. We would highly recommend Hodges without reservations. Hodges Subaru is by far the best dealership around. This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from them and I was still impressed by their level of service and friendliness. I am a single mom that works full time and does not have a lot of time to go into a showroom and haggle over prices. I contated Danielle Isabell, salesperson extraordinaire, via e-mail and we were able to decide on price, trim level and financing all via several short e-mails. We spoke on the phone twice to exchange personal information that she did not want me to communicate via electronic means (very considerate as I hadn't even considered it). I walked in to turn in my old Forester (the lease was up) and was immediately greeted upon entering the dealership. One of the always friendly service people was more than happy to come outside with me (in the rain) and pry a bike rack off my vehicle (the key wasn't working). He sent me back inside so that I wouldn't be wet and then brought it to me smiling. When doing my financing and signing the paperwork, I was asked several times if I had quesitons or wanted further explanations of anything in the paperwork. I had purchased/leased vehicles before so I didn't need additional information but found it pleasing that they would spend any amount of time possible to make me feel comfortable with my purchase. Danielle took me out to my vehicle and went over every square inch of it to make sure it met my needs and was up to my expectations. She helped me to sync the bluetooth on my iPhone with my radio and showed me how to make hands-free calls and play music. She was a champ when I started squealing because I was so excited! My son's booster seat was installed in the back of the vehicle and I was ready to go...with a full tank of gas. Even though I am love Subaru vehicles, one of the main reasons I continue to drive Subarus is so that I can work with the Hodges personnel and get my car serviced there. I've been known to take my laptop and get some work done in their newly refurbished client lounge/waiting area...plus you can't beat the coffee. The guys in the service area are always a fun bunch to deal with and perform maintenance and repairs within the estimated time or faster. Being a woman, I'm sometimes sensitive about being treated like a "gal that doesn't know cars" but I've never had that experience at Hodges. Jeff and Greg, in the service department recognize me and always say hello when I am there. I was recently driving by the dealerlship with my son when Greg waved. My son asked who that man was and I said "well that's Greg. He fixes mama's car." My son's response? "He seems really nice. Can I go there with you next time?" I think you have a future Subaru owner on your hands! I could go on but this is long enough and I think I've gotten my point across. The dealership did not have the car I wanted, XV crosstrek hybrid, in stock so they had to negotiate a trade with another dealership on my behalf. This review is for Hodges Subaru SERVICE department, not the sales department. I purchased my 2009 outback in January 2017, not from Hodges. Since then, dealing with Hodges Subaru service has been the worst automotive experience in my 40+ years as a driver. It would take a lot of time and space for me to detail every bad experience with them, so here's the most egregious. After I purchased this vehicle the first thing I did was contact my neighborhood Subaru dealer (Hodges) to order a second key. Like most new keys today, it had to be specially encoded at the factory to work for my car. I got a call that the key was in, but when I showed up to the parts department to pick it up, I was told that they couldn't find the key. Then their parts guy doubled down by actually accusing me of coming back into their department and stealing the key! You read that right and it is no lie. it was surreal. Not only was there a key out there somewhere encoded to open my car doors, which caused their parts department concern whatsoever, but I was being accused of something I wouldn't even know how to do. That should have been the red flag that drove me away, but I figured the rest of the service department couldn't possibly be THIS bad, because my first experience was so surreal. I was sadly mistaken! On another occasion, after having boots replaced on my front cv shafts, I got a call from Hodges service after I got home telling me I had to return to the service department because their tech had forgotten to put several front end parts back on the car before they gave it back to me! And last year in October my check engine light started coming on consistently for the dreaded 0420 code (I have a code reader) for the catalytic converting not operating to optimal standards, which I learned since that Subaru service departments basically treats like carte blanche to start replacing parts, starting with the most expensive. They kept telling me I needed a new catalytic converter, which they quoted at $2200.00. I knew the converter wasn't the problem. There are several tests, including a heat test and using a scope to view the inside of the converter, but they refused to do any diagnostic tests saying a 0420 code means the catalytic converter is bad. I suspected a vacuum leak was causing the code to trip, because I could smell it, but they refused to test for that when I asked them to. After I brought it to a neighborhood mechanic, they quickly found the air leak that was causing the problem and fixed the problem for less than a third of Hodges quote. Also in October, I started feeling a shuddering when the car was under 50 mph, which the diagnosed as a rear (main) driveshaft problem, and Hodges ordered a new one. After installing it I eventually had to bring it back after convincing myself that their repair had made no difference in the car's ride. They put a second driveshaft on it, called me to tell me they had driven the car and it was perfect...only when I drove it, it was like they'd done nothing and there was no change. I brought it back to Hodges, and they eventually told me that the repair they had done was fine, but that I needed to replace the front cv shafts , (yes, the ones they just rebooted), my rear sway bar and end links, and I also need new tires (not! these aren't old or worn) because those things were what was really causing the problem now. This would have been another four figure bill and would not have addressed any problem, except maybe the one they are having with their bottom line. When I had it in to my neighborhood mechanic for the 0420 code thing, they drove it and called me to tell me I had a driveshaft issue before I told them anything about it. I allowed them the opportunity to fix the problem. They sent the driveshaft out for balancing and it solved the problem for again less than one third of what Hodges had charged. Not only did Hodges service manager refuse to even consider paying my bill to fix (much cheaper mind you) the problem, but he acted ridiculously indignant. All that money down the drain for a problem they couldn't/wouldn't fix. When I've asked questions I typically get lies, obfuscation, then upsell. It's like entering an alternate universe devoid of any honesty or integrity especially when you compare it to a place like O'Brien's. I will credit them for the $2400.00 head gasket repair in March 2018 that hasn't failed...yet. I could go on, but I am so done with this place and I am selling the Outback. Back to Honda for me. I've spent more time at Hodges service department since Jan. '17 than I did at Ferndale Honda ( always a good experience) the previous 15 years as an Accord owner. If you are a Subaru owner, do yourself a favor and find someone other than Hodges Subaru to service your vehicle, like O'Brien's in Ferndale or several others mentioned in these reviews. Hodges is also way too busy dealing with their Takata airbag fiasco now. read more

Good mechanics at this dealership ! This dealership has really good mechanics. I had a "long cranking time" problem with my 2012 Forester. I took it in twice at another Subaru dealership and no improvement. I took it to Hodges and they found the ECM software update that should have been loaded was not. The car starts easily now. He took a lot of time to talk me through the pricing of various options, including the lease or buy decision, in a very up-front, transparent way. I learned a lot. Hodges's is a family owned dealership and everyone there seems tightly knit and extremely friendly. I was able to test drive any car I wanted to. I came in on a wim because my car broke down and they really wanted to help me get financed with a low rate. I ended up getting an amazing low interest rate and found a perfect car for my needs. I am very happy with Hodges's and would refer people and they will have my business for a long time. Not to mention my car is certified pre-owned, meaning a lot of things are under warranty. I needed a new tire and instead of it being 200$ it was 50$. My first oil change and tire rotation was also on the house. Thank you Hodges's. Purchased a vehicle from this dealer three years ago and have always had OUTSTANDING service on it for both routine maintenance and warranty issues. You can bring the vehicle in at any time without an appointment and they will perform minor repairs or advise you what is required to resolve the more serious problems. The staff is always courteous and attentive, and they will NOT try to sell you something that you don't need. Hands-down the best Subaru dealership I have ever been to. I am a Subaru fanatic and have been to many across the country and this is the best service I've had. All the service guys are on NASIOC and the service advisor is an awesome guy - very friendly and helpful and not just trying to get your money. They'll accomodate special needs if your car is modified, and they let you bring your own oil for oil changes as well. Very happy with everything I've had done there. read more

Best dealership I've ever dealt with. I've purchased my last two Subaru's from hodges (Phil) and wouldn't go anywhere else. Their sales technique isn't the typical "car sales guy" approach, more a group of down to earth real people listening to your needs and helping to find the best fit for you. Although I haven't had to use their service dept. much (I love Subaru's for that) the couple of experiences I had were good ones. Their staff seemed knowledgeable and very courteous. The last two times I was in there purchasing my car, many of the same staff seemed to work there. That certainly says something. I'm moving on to my third Subaru very soon and looking forward to dealing with Hodges once again. read more

After reading lots of reviews, I passed several dealerships to visit Hodges to buy my new Subaru, and it was totally worth it. The very epitome of "no pressure" sales, I never felt pushed in to anything. At the same time, whenever I had questions, they were answered very quickly. Something I hadn't thought about until I got there -- Hodges is perfectly located for test driving. Within a two mile radius, you can cruise Woodward, dodge 696 traffic, parallel park in a "small town" atmosphere, do some city driving... I have to say, it really helped me to get the full range of "how is this going to be when I commute to work" and "how is this going to be around town" questions knocked out fast. When my new car had a problem, they went above and beyond to accommodate me. And after a mix-up, one of the owners openly took responsibility in front of other employees. It's rare to see that sort of integrity anywhere. I was never made to feel like I became a second-class customer once I had purchased a car (which I've experienced at literally every dealership I've been to in the past). The whole experience from my initial "I think I want to buy a car..." e-mail, to delivery, to getting service... totally different than any other dealership I've been to. Even though I live almost an hour away and have to pass at least two other Subaru dealerships to get to Hodges, it's absolutely worth it. Downsides? Sure. I wouldn't want to spend a day camped in their waiting area. And a lot of the new cars seem to be kept off-lot, so night-time shoppers will probably be bummed out. When the dealership and / or surrounding area are busy, parking on the same block isn't always easy. That's about as negative as I can think of, which is kind of incredible. read more

Let me start off by saying that I've never even stepped foot into a car dealership before. I had been driving the same car for 12 years and started feeling the need for something new. I've always loved Subarus because of their safety aspects so I knew that's where I wanted to start. I ended up talking to 5 different dealerships in the area to price compare and see if anyone had any special deals going on. Hodges was the nicest from the start. I talked to Patrick and he was the only one out of all the other car salesmen that didn't immediately start calling me 2x a day, but was also the most informative. Chuck was really helpful, as well! Hodges wasn't pushy in any way, but was able to give me the best price for a 2018 Forester lease. They were totally different from any of the other dealerships I spoke to and I will tell anyone that's looking into getting a Subaru to only go to Hodges. read more

There are many other dealers in the Detroit area; I will be going to another for my part needs. I can get the exact same products somewhere else. Service is the key. read more

I drive a 2010 STI Special Edition that I bought out of state with 7,000 miles in early 2011. When purchasing the vehicle I brought it down to Hodges to have it examined. Greg and Jeff from the service department crawled over every inch of the vehicle to make sure it was tip top. Which it is. Since then those two and their team have been taking care of every aspect of the vehicle flawlessly and in a timely manner. They make it easy for me to stick with them. read more

i won't go anywhere else for car service. hodges has everything i could want and need. they know me by name and getting a reservation is incredibly simple. i'm usually in the area and will stop in to make my appointment and they know my exact routine. since i'm at work a lot they know my family members take the car in for me and have no issues with it and how i pay for it beforehand. they made special arrangements so i don't have to. they also know everything about my car- calling to make an appointment is only a 2 minute conversation if that. they've done a great job with all my services. i've only had to go there once for a crisis and they fixed it up, good as new. a little on the pricey side but they finished it quickly and took great care of my car. they always always wash your car, no matter what they do. it's safe to say i'm a loyal customer. EDIT: i just went in for an oil change (my third time) and it was $20 cheaper than last time. not sure if it was a price change or what but it was much cheaper. i'm very happy. read more

I was looking for a new 2013 Subaru Legacy thru the Costco program and it listed Hodges Subaru as the affiliated dealer. Their sales person John G. replied to my Costco inquiry promptly and answered all my consequent emails and phone calls in a timely and a professional manner. Over the memorial day weekend I drove down to their dealership and tested the Legacy and the Impreza. Both vehicles are great, however, what impressed me the most is the way John G. answered all my questions and concerns without pushing me to take any impulse decision or making me feel that I have to purchase the vehicle right then. I went to three other Subaru dealers in the area and all of them were just concerned about the sale more than anything else. Also, John G. told me about all the rebates available from the manufacturer and provided me with the invoice prices. Other dealers hid the rebates and were reluctant to discuss invoice prices to increase their profit. Because of their honesty and professionalism I would definitely come back again and buy a Subaru from them. I believe that Costco did a great job when they selected Hodges Subaru in their Auto Program. read more

I have been a long time customer to Hodges Subaru. Recently since they moved locations, I have been very disappointed. The new location is not convenient to get to at all. Its a very dirty area, and the parking is just ridiculous I have noticed that management have been very rude to their staff as well as their customers. I have noticed also that the owners of the company don't seen to know what is going on or even what they are doing. I have noticed that this dealership has gone down hill with in the past year or so. Sad to say, I will not be coming back. I will travel a further distance to get better service read more
