Unless you are a huge hulk hogan fan I don't recommend. The food is way over priced and the atmosphere is just... weird. My husband said it reminded him of a place that would be on the show "Bar Rescue" where you don't want to know what's going on in the back. We got Buffalo chicken dip (the dip itself is strange with big square pieces of processed chicken in it), a chicken sandwich, and my husband ordered 1/2 lb of shrimp. Originally I wanted the turkey club but they told me they were out of turkey. The chicken sandwich was good, but wasn't worth it for the price I paid. My husband said the shrimp was okay but was served at a weird temp. The server came to the table maybe 3 times, with the third time presenting a handheld device that you pay on, while she held it in her hand with the 25% tip already selected and didn't release the machine to let my husband sign or choose a different amount so that was awkward. It was my first time here, I was super excited to eat here after being at the beach all day. Waited 20 minutes for a lemonade, when it arrived to my table it had 4 ice cubes. I ordered buffalo chicken dip, waited 25 minutes for that as an APP. When it finally arrived to my table my chips were stale and I only got about 10 chips for the big bowl of dip which was absolutely ridiculous. Ordered a double Tito's and saw it sit at the bar for 15 mins before it was served to my table. Couldn't catch a server to bring it to us so the bartender did. Ordered chicken wings with ranch and blue cheese, never got our blue cheese. Ordered a Philly cheesesteak and it took 35 mins to arrive . When we would ask our server about the food she seemed very hesitant to answer and seemed like she did not want to be at work. Server only came back once to ask how we were doing. My love partner and I set off on a mission from Siesta Key today to go and hangout with Hogan. I see on his social media posts that he frequents both of his establishments in Clearwater. We knew heading there that we likely wouldn't see the greatest mustached muscle man of all time but we thought what the hell. When we arrived we were greeted at the door with a very friendly hostess and we decided to head upstairs to the outdoor seating.. The menu looked pretty decent with items that looked pleasing to both my lady and myself.. I ordered the loaded nachos with grilled chicken (from a can apparently) and she ordered the muscles. I have to say that the food was probably the worst of all the food that we ate since arriving in Florida last Friday. The only thing that saved this review was Zay, our waiter. He had the best personality and told us a few great stories about his time working at the Hangout over the last couple of months. We could have sat and chatted with him all day. No luck while we ate of a Hulkster sighting so we walked around, shopped and visited the beach shop for a few hours. We decided to go back to the bar as we were told that the Mustached one sometimes arrives after 4. The bartender had absolutely no interest in us. From the time we sat down until we left she may have said 4 words. I watched other people sitting at the bar wait for drinks etc.... The place was cool, a few of the employees were really nice and there were old videos of Hogan matches playing on the TV's. If you go there request to have Zay from NY as your waiter, this will be the only enjoyable thing about your visit.... Sorry Hulkster, I wanted this to be much better than it was. read more

Everything here was pretty good. I ate here twice and came several times for some drinks. The food was good. The coconut shrimp had too much breading and coconut, the bruschetta was tasty but not traditional. These were not dealbreakers tho, I also had the calamari which was very good and the grilled chicken sandwich. I would come back here for snacks rather than a full dinner. This place needs new management and a health department sweep. Had the shrimp and it was rank. Food made me and my family sick for an entire day. Chips tasted like they had sat out all day. My water was even nasty. Gut feeling on arrival was go elsewhere...no one was in the dining area at 7pm! They almost demanded we sit at the bar! When I got my food I could smell that the shrimp was bad...sour. Burgers were overcooked and the dip was gross. Manager was not helpful at all...they were too busy playing on their phones. Bartender was nice but couldn't keep up and your floor staff was just standing around waiting for host to seat "anyone". I highly recommend you steer clear of this place! read more

Stopped by for their bottomless mimosas (on a Thursday!) and was delighted by the service. Allen was world class. He made sure you never had an empty glass, something you almost never see with a bottomless service. We had an excellent experience today!! We started with mozzarella sticks and pickle chips. They were definitely homemade and tasted great. My daughter said the shrimp tacos were freakishly delicious and my wife couldn't have said enough good things about her grouper BLT. I had the Big Fish sandwich and it was awesome. EXTREMELY disappointed. We went in after going to the beach. Tried many of their entrees and we couldn't find any that we liked. We had the calamari (dry), Buffalo cauliflower bites (raw), ahi tuna salad (missing dressing), and burgers (dry). I would NOT recommend this place at all. First of all the bar manager was so ignorant when I ask for a better seat to watch the game and his response was if you don't like you seating just leave. I believe his name was Scott. Then we ordered food, which is kind of pricey for a bar and was small portion and cold. Those oyster should have not be served to customers. They can get customers really sick. Wish them all the best. And really get someone how know who to run the food service. Visited Hogan's Hangout while on our Honeymoon 2 weeks ago specifically for Karaoke on Monday night and also because i'm a wrestling nerd and my wife wouldn't let me say no. Literally the only good thing about this place is it's location. If you eat on the upper lvl bar there's a nice e breeze off the beach despite it being as hot and humid as it was that day. Now for the rest of the review. 1st i reached out to them in advance to ask if we needed a reservation and whoever responded to their Facebook messenger told me tickets sell out fast on karaoke night so it's better to buy early because it's first come first served. When I checked the web site that day there were still over 100 tickets available. We also found out you could walk in and pay the cover at the door which I was told you couldn't do that. I though that was their clever way of saying yes you need a reservation. Well 1 you did need a reservation but you also needed to buy a $20 ticket if you wanted to participate in the karaoke and on top of that you only get to sing once. So all in all this was already starting to aggravate me. We got there early and considering the owner of the bar we figured it'd be a little larger room it was very small very humid we had to go upstairs to eat and the service was terrible. There were only 2 other people at the bar upstairs and we waited almost 20 min to be greeted and served. My wife ordered her food snd then the server walked away before I could place my order. She came back took my order shrugged it off when she realized she didn't take the order in advance like that was a normal thing. Our order was simple i ordered chicken tenders and fries my wife ordered a burger and fries we each ordered 1 drink our bill was $92.00 the food was not good enough to warrant the price. We go downstairs for karaoke they set it up like a contest which is how we found out you only get 1 song there was no seating and my wife who has a bad foot and needed to sit was stuck leaning against a bar. Hlthankfukly a guy who was there was kind enough to let her sit each time he went up to leave the bar for whatever reason (smoke washroom, fresh air). Hulk Hogan showed up and he literally sits at the stage w his family cuts a promo offers round of shots to the entire bar and repeated the action 4 times. Nick Hogan was an egotistical ass towards my wife. She put her song in the dj put the wrong song up nick started talking to her like.she didn't know what she was talking about then the dj found the correct song. She sang and even Hogan himself took notice and my wife ended up being a runner up for top female singer (the winner was a regular) when I walked up I realized 1 they use karafun for their karaoke which is a terrible program and 2 the sound was way off. I tried the Hogan pilsner which was their every day beer special $6.99 can and honestly buy a course light Miller lite or bud light and save yourself a couple bucks it wasn't nearly as good as it was cracked up to be. Ultimately hogan's hangout is not worth the price we paid 1 for the lyft ride there and back. 2. For the $20 ticket to sing q song on karaoke in a competition that is setup to take care of their regulars, and 3. A regular burger and chicken tenders fries and 2 drinks shouldn,xt cost anywhere near what they charged. I would suggest going anywhere else this spot isn't worth it. It was hours of our honeymoon wasted. We will both be back and we definitrly do not recommend anyone else wasting their time there. read more

Having waited for 25 mins with our empty water glasses(we were going to order drinks) for lunch... we finally flagged down another server to find out the manager sent ours home. Nothing was communicated with our table until WE said something. Then given excuses as to why it wasn't anyone else's fault. All of which happened while two managers and three servers talked at the end of the bar. Then my gf's food was brought out (wrong) without mine. They had to even ask what my food was. 17 years in food service I understand things happen. But it needs communicated to the table if there's issues like this. Don't bother to make a reservation!! We had a reservation for 8 at 7:30. When we arrived on time, we were told that our reservation would not be honored. We were told that our table was being used by another table so reservation wasn't any good. Instead the "manager guy" said that two tables could be placed "close" together. This place opened 7 weeks ago. It has a great location right on the main drag. We sat up stairs. It was confusing because you could go in the front door and talk to a hostess or go right up the back stairs and it's open seating. The first part went great. She came by, gave us our menus took a drink order, brought the drinks. So we order food - almost nothing is available. No entrees, no oysters, no fish for the tacos no veggies. They should have provided another small menu that just said what they did have. I ordered a side salad and it came out as a dinner salad. I didn't want a big meal but ended up paying for it. All the food was fair at best. The reason she gave for everything being out is that they are new. I'll try It again in a month and see how it goes read more

Really surprised how good the food was. Server was pretty good. She took care of everything but wasn't very outgoing. Food was hot and served quickly on a Sunday afternoon. Pricey but that was expected. 4 stars only because of value for price. Ahi tuna salad was huge and filling. Mozzarella sticks were good but marinara sauce wasn't anything great. Kids chicken tenders seemed to be hand breaded and good. Fries were different but really good. Wings you can chose baked or fried which is nice. Didn't like not getting a physical check though. Instead she came and told us what the bill was on her handheld. Probably could have asked to review it but that shouldn't be something you have to ask for. It was what I expected so I didn't ask to see a detail. Not sure why we get no receipt even after paying. Can't be because of covid because they definitely aren't socially distancing the tables so it would be weird to focus on that because of covid. Most of the employees wore masks if you're concern about that though. I wouldn't be a regular here because of the prices but I'll probably be back at some point. Absolute worst experience I've ever had at a bar. All of the chairs were on the tables even though they didn't close for 3 hours. There were 4 people in the whole bar until my spouse and I walked in. The bartender immediately stood right over us not offering us any time to look over the menu to see what we wanted to order. I impulsively ordered the hulk smash not realizing that it had jalapeños in it since he was rushing me so much. My spouse rushed over to him once he got to the other side of the bar to tell him I didn't read that part of the menu and he started cursing and throwing a fit. He came over to me and said "let's practice reading the menu next time" absolutely unnecessary. Not to mention the 4 losers at the bar watching me and analyzing and talking about my every move and word. They're lucky they didn't get hulk smashed. I paid for the beer my spouse ordered and we walked out the door. So unprofessional and insanely rude for someone who said he thinks the drink is disgusting anyway.
