This place is more like a 3.5 out of 5 stars. I was feeling under the weather and wanted some pho to help me feel better. I heard about this place on social media and wanted to check it out. We went around 5pm, and it not crowded. i believe there was only one other table besides ours. There is no table service, you order at the front and they will bring out the food to your table. I ended up getting the pho combo, which came with different types of meats. The broth was good and flavorful... Normally i add hoisin sauce or siracha to the pho or dip the meat into it... but maybe because i was sick or the broth was good, i didn't do it this time around. The spring rolls were good, but the bread seemed stale on the bahn me. No accompanying fish sauce was provided, nor was there soy sauce at the table. Ordering must be done at the counter, and the payment system suggests a tip up front. Had I known this, I would have paid cash, as I only tip when the meal is complete and I'm satisfied, which was not quite the case here. There was no follow up check by the server, and we could hear a loud argument in the kitchen. I used to live in Grapevine and came here weekly because it's so good. Even after moving away I still try to swing by whenever we're flying through DFW just so I can come back for the pho and to see the owners. When I walked in and saw the menu, I was very skeptical about this place having good pho. (No Vietnamese words, no tripe, no tendon) I even thought about just walking right back out, but decided to stay and try it out. And I have no regrets. We got the beef combo pho, sweet and spicy wings, spring rolls, and Vietnamese coffee. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was a bit sweet but still the best restaurant made peanut sauce I've had. The sweet and spicy wings were crispy and had the right amount of flavor. The beef combo pho was a bit salty but I added some like juice and it hit the spot. I wished the meatballs were a bit more authentic (texture was like ground beef which isn't really authentic). Of course nothing is close to homemade pho but this was pretty close. I am very picky and prefer my Vietnamese coffee sweeter so the coffee was not for me. But if you like bitter Vietnamese coffee this is it. read more

Someone a hole in the wall which to me, I immediately knew this place was going to be good and Authentic! All our soups were fantastic! I've tried Pho at various places around the metroplex, but this was the first time I encountered such a minimal amount of broth in the bowl. The portions of brisket and meatball were also disappointing, and they shred the brisket, which was new to me. We almost missed the happy hour discount on the smoothie because it wasn't clearly explained on the sign(it was 10% off) And the cashier wasn't going to apply it until I brought it up. Finally - FINALLY visited this spot, which had been on my brain since it was known as Pho in the Box. I don't know if it changed ownership or simply changed names - but the quality was as great as I had heard it was even under the original name. The restaurant is open for dine-in, and safety measures are being enforced such as social distance seating, masks, and gloves. Wrapped plasticware is available for use as well as metal utensils. The man who greeted us at the register may have been the manager, even the owner. He was friendly and courteous, not rushing a decision. I had the Shrimp Pho, which came out in no time - hot and fresh. The food comes in sturdy plastic reusable containers with lids supplied, so you can either eat there, take it home, or eat what you can and have the "to-go" container there from the start. Very, very, smart move. With your pho comes a generous helping of additions to include the standard sprouts, jalapenos, Thai basil, and limes. On the table are hoisin sauce, Sriracha, and a housemade chili sauce (amazing). The broth was as clean as any pho I have ever had. The nectar was amply populated with shrimp, as well as noodles. It was hot, fresh, and delicious - nothing was skimped on. The shrimp was large and meaty, the noodles were cooked to perfection. The manager (owner?) came by to make sure everything was ok and that everyone was happy. He seemed genuinely interested without being overbearing. The experience was a great one - and I beat myself up frequently on the drive (which could easily be a walk due to proximity) home for not having gone there sooner. I was craving something asian, anything really, when i happens across Daily Pho. I'm glad my belly and a love of Pho brought me to this wonderful pho/Vietnamese restaurant. I visited the restaurant for a to-go order naturally with the virus and all going on. The cashier was very friendly and easily assisted answering my questions. I ordered a kids chicken pho, a regular eye round steak pho and meat combo pho, with spring rolls and a thai tea. Everything was amazing! The broth had an excellent flavor. The spring rolls had a little kick. The thai tea made me feel like I was back in Thailand . The food came out super fast and was hot when I came home. What was cool to was that they also provided the Mung beans, basil, housein sauce and hot sauce. Don't fret if you don't have spoons or chopsticks they supply them! Delicious dumplings, fabulous egg rolls and really tasty pho! The to-go pho set up is the best! The broth is separate and you pour it into the bowl of noodle/veggie or whatever you have. The cutest part to me was the little plastic soup spoon! They have the to go set up experience down pat. I ordered on site and didn't wait long to get my order. Oh, I almost forgot: the sauce that comes with the egg rolls and dumplings is sooo good. The consistency is that of thick salsa almost and it isn't hot, just all around flavor and with it being thick it stuck to the dumplings and egg rolls really well on their way to my mouth. I've had many phos but their pho is the best to date! That broth is so delicious!! I always get the Shrimp Pho - sometimes with the spicy broth, and it is so great. They give you so much shrimp too! My bf gets the Shrimp, Pork, Eggroll plate and it is delicious (the pork is extra delicious and very well seasoned) As well, I've tried the shrimp bahn mi sandwich and it was delicious! We stopped here on our way home from our stay at Great Wolf Lodge. Everything was excellent! My husband had the brisket pho. He says its the best pho he has ever had. He has had quite a few! So hard to find a good Vietnamese restaurant in DFW. Most of them I would only rate a 2-star. Over-all food here is not bad (not great). The pho stock is a tad on the salty side but it is decent. The egg rolls are not authentic (Vietnamese egg rolls are wrapped in rice paper, not the chinese egg dough wrapper), but they are one of the better tasting egg rolls in the Vietnamese restaurants in DFW. Service is friendly and the cook is a nice lady who ask her customers about the food and apologizes for any short comings. read more

This is a small mom and pop store in the corner of a small strip mall. Didn't even know it existed if it wasn't for Yelp. Came here with family for dinner on a Saturday night around 630p. Only table dine in, and saw 2 other take out orders during our 45 min dine in period. All 3 employees had their mask on, and every other table or so was blocked. And all utensils, cups and bowls were throwaways. I had combo pho, my son had pho ga, daughter has dry pho and wife has pork over salad. Pho, it was not. It was more like pho noodles in some sort of hot soup. It lack any distinctive flavor and aroma of the typical pho soup. And there's only 1 size, which to me was quite small for the typical pho prices locally. Almost like a kid size compare to my regular visit at Pho One and other places. As it's a small independent store, I really hate not supporting them, but true to Yelp review, I rather tell it as is and hope they would do better in the future. So to sum up, they could do bette on value on reducing the price and/or increase the size, and more importantly, try to add more flavoring in the soup as that's the key ingredient on pho vs basic noodle soup. read more
