We both stopped dead in our tracks upon seeing the sign on the door for Now Hiring Full Time Cook and cashier. Oh,oh, that brought back the nightmares of past really good places that got bought out quietly and then. . .queue in creepy music. Oh well we thought we were in the mood for pho and how hard is it to make? Wrong decision on the spot. The man treated us like he didn't care if we were going to return at all, retorting that of course limeade tea is sweet despite my complete lack of knowledge as to what it was. His response was "Of course". No other suggestions as to what to drink so I chose water. I got the chicken combo based on previous Yelpers descriptions of the fried silken tofu with the chicken and beautiful vegetables on top. Instead I got a plain jane bowl of utterly thin chicken that looked like it should have been used for a small sandwich, plain not fried tofu, bland broth devoid of any flavor, and I had to hunt for the vegetables which turned out to be carrots and token napa cabbage. Service: excellent. Main reason for a higher star rating. Ambiance: your typical pho restaurant. Cozy. Food: Now this is where I get touchy and was a little upset. As someone who tries different pho restaurants EACH week, I can honestly say the flavor, broth, and taste were amazing. Definitely in my top 5 for taste alone with the spicy pho. The killer was the portion sizes and as a result, the prices as well. This place will typically run you an extra $1-2 per bowl, but don't expect much in the bowl. It's about 3-5 bites and it's gone. In transparency, I don't know if it was just an off night, but neither my partner nor I have been served so little, and charged so much for a bowl of pho. Really want to give this place a second chance and will try again soon. Hope they really fix those portion sizes... I'm 160 pounds and had to hit a drive through on the way home... read more

Wow! This place is amazing and had the grand experience using Grub Hub for my first dining experience due to COVID! After reading all the amazing reviews, I simply ordered the chicken pho with extra chicken! They provide an option to add on additional meats if you like online! Your pick of chicken, beef, meatballs, seafood, etc., even a spicy broth. And grabbed an appetizer too! Let me please start off by saying everything was packed perfectly and tight! Even had some cardboard in the packaging to keep everything standing straight up! Food was HOT and I loved it! Please check out the photos as you can see how each item is perfectly placed in its own container! Sauces packed too along with all silverware and napkins!! Generally try to be positive with my reviews, but stopped here based on Yelp ratings...to my disappointment! The first tipoff shou have been the multiple signs in windows stating they were hiring cooks and cashiers. Cashier wasn't rude, but he certainly gave the impression that he couldn't care less if we were there, and perhaps he was doing us a favor. We ordered two pho dishes, chicken and chicken combo. The combo did not have fried tofu as advertised, but just plain cubed. The chicken was sliced deli meat, a big disappointment. The broth itself was meh; it wasn't bad, but had no depth of flavor. First off we were dining in, the pho and rice dishes are served in to go containers, so dining in and having a hot bowl of pho out of a plastic cup is weird, idk maybe that's normal out here. Pho broth had no flavor. No depth, no seasoning, and very bland. Even my six year old noted something was missing and she always finishes her pho anywhere else. BBQ pork vermicelli and rice plates were borderline inedible, couldn't tell if it was beef or pork bc it's drowned in some kind of hoisin/Chinese sauce. Most Vietnamese places I go to don't cover up the meat with an overpowering sauce just a slight marinade of lemongrass,green onion,etc and you can still recognize what ur eating. The shrimp on skewers were overcooked and rubbery. So happy to have found a legit Viet restaurant near our home. My 2 year old son gobbled up the pho and he is picky cuz he loves his grandpa's pho... It really tastes like good home cooked food. We ordered vermicelli noodle with the grilled chicken/pork/shrimp and eggroll, really fresh veggies and nice flavor. Once again the boy gobbled up the eggroll. Husband really enjoyed the coconut jelly with chia drink.. big chunks of coconut meat. I barely got to drink any. Ordered fried salt and pepper tofu which I really enjoyed eating it with the noodle bowl. We will def be back!!! read more

This has been a very pleasant surprise since moving from California. I have now been back several times trying: Grilled Chicken, Pork, shrimp Vermicelli, Spring Rolls w/shrimp, and their Vietnamese sandwich w/grilled pork/chicken. The flavors are fantastic and remind me of some of the great foods in Little Saigon located in Westminster, CA. This is a must try place if you want traditional based Vietnamese food.
