P1. Eye Round Steak Pho Spicy level 3

I used to live in Grapevine and came here weekly because it's so good. Even after moving away I still try to swing by whenever we're flying through DFW just so I can come back for the pho and to see the owners. The owners are the sweetest people and the food never misses. I always go for the P1 spicy level 3 and it's perfect every time. Can't recommend this place enough.

Chef's kiss! I had the shrimp pho and the shrimp were so big and well cooked, I got like 8 of them in a very large bowl. The broth was clear, warm, and aromatic. I really enjoyed the pre wrapped garnish plate, felt sanitary. I would skip the tofu appetizer. The man said he was short staff so he had us grab a menu, sit to claim a table and then approach the counter to order. They have a open face cooler with drinks to the left. He was super nice. The food took about 15-20mins to arrive to our table. Would come again next laundry day (:

Delicious pho with quick and friendly service. Highly recommend adding meatballs. And I love that it is family owned so you're supporting a small business.

When I walked in and saw the menu, I was very skeptical about this place having good pho. (No Vietnamese words, no tripe, no tendon) I even thought about just walking right back out, but decided to stay and try it out. And I have no regrets. We got the beef combo pho, sweet and spicy wings, spring rolls, and Vietnamese coffee. The peanut sauce for the spring rolls was a bit sweet but still the best restaurant made peanut sauce I've had. The sweet and spicy wings were crispy and had the right amount of flavor. The beef combo pho was a bit salty but I added some like juice and it hit the spot. I wished the meatballs were a bit more authentic (texture was like ground beef which isn't really authentic). Of course nothing is close to homemade pho but this was pretty close. I am very picky and prefer my Vietnamese coffee sweeter so the coffee was not for me. But if you like bitter Vietnamese coffee this is it.

This place really hit the spot! The location is very convenient to me and has a nice interior. The Pho really hit the spot, it was rich and flavorful and I loved the meat! The wait was only 5 minutes and the person who helped me was very kind. Totally recommend this place! I would possibly skip eating in if you have a large group as it's a fairly small dining room.

I've tried Pho at various places around the metroplex, but this was the first time I encountered such a minimal amount of broth in the bowl. The portions of brisket and meatball were also disappointing, and they shred the brisket, which was new to me. We almost missed the happy hour discount on the smoothie because it wasn't clearly explained on the sign(it was 10% off) And the cashier wasn't going to apply it until I brought it up. The bánh mì sandwich had very little meat, and the spring rolls were loosely wrapped, falling apart with the first bite. (Forgot to get photo of the sandwich and drink because they were brought out later.)

Definitely recommend this place if you're in Grapevine/Southlake & you love pho! The flavor is so delicious. The meat was incredibly tender. The environment is super chill. Great place for a sit down meal that's not overly priced. Staff was very nice & service was excellent.

Shrimp Pho - after some doctoring with jalapeños, sprouts, and chili sauce

Finally - FINALLY visited this spot, which had been on my brain since it was known as Pho in the Box. I don't know if it changed ownership or simply changed names - but the quality was as great as I had heard it was even under the original name. The restaurant is open for dine-in, and safety measures are being enforced such as social distance seating, masks, and gloves. Wrapped plasticware is available for use as well as metal utensils. The man who greeted us at the register may have been the manager, even the owner. He was friendly and courteous, not rushing a decision. I had the Shrimp Pho, which came out in no time - hot and fresh. The food comes in sturdy plastic reusable containers with lids supplied, so you can either eat there, take it home, or eat what you can and have the "to-go" container there from the start. Very, very, smart move. With your pho comes a generous helping of additions to include the standard sprouts, jalapenos, Thai basil, and limes. On the table are hoisin sauce, Sriracha, and a housemade chili sauce (amazing). The broth was as clean as any pho I have ever had. The nectar was amply populated with shrimp, as well as noodles. It was hot, fresh, and delicious - nothing was skimped on. The shrimp was large and meaty, the noodles were cooked to perfection. The manager (owner?) came by to make sure everything was ok and that everyone was happy. He seemed genuinely interested without being overbearing. The experience was a great one - and I beat myself up frequently on the drive (which could easily be a walk due to proximity) home for not having gone there sooner. I'll be back again and again.

The dumplings themselves absolutely lived up to the hype--perfectly delicate with a flavorful broth inside. We also ordered the dim sum combination, additional dim sum, and lo mein, and everything came out fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The variety in the dim sum was impressive, and the lo mein had a great texture and seasoning that tied the meal together nicely. You can tell there's real skill in the kitchen when it comes to the food. My only complaint was noticing the staff making the fresh dumplings eating personal food while working. It took away a bit from the overall experience and professionalism you'd expect, especially in an open kitchen setting. That said, the food quality is definitely worth it, and I'd still recommend stopping by if you're craving authentic soup dumplings in the area. Solid 4 stars!

I was looking forward to Dragon House, but it was average at best. We ordered the fried tofu…read moreappetizer and the hand-pulled noodles with veggies. The tofu actually came out after the noodles, and the sweet chili sauce it was served with was rather thick. I think a different sauce, or having the tofu coated in the sauce, would have been much better. The noodles had good flavor overall, but there were barely any vegetables, and the noodles seemed a little chewy. I would have preferred lo mein noodles instead. The price was also pretty steep for the noodle dish. I've had better tofu and noodles elsewhere. I had to ask for chili oil, and our server only checked on us once. It was an early Thursday evening and the restaurant wasn't busy. I think this place is probably more popular for its soup dumplings and dim sum. Oh, and there were also flies around our table, which was very off-putting.
