If you are ordering at this restaurant think twice. This was the health inspection today. We have gotten sick from our previous orders from Door Dash. Be careful is my advice.

I ordered this food through GrubHub. But I found out that you can call directly to the restaurant to have a delivery...My delivery person was from Hoi Cin.. I got beef chow fun, sweet-and-sour pork over noodles and, Mongolian beef over steam rice extra spicy. I also got Sweet and sour soup, fried shrimp, steamed buns, sesame seed buns, deep-fried silver buns. And sesame seed buns. and let's not forget Shanghainese steam buns. I thought that beef chow fun tasted pretty good the noodles were not as wide as I have been used to. Sweet-and-sour pork over noodles instead of rice taste just fine and I recommend that. And last but not least the Mongolian beef over steam rice extra spicy.... The extra spicy was dried red chili peppers added to the dish ..Be careful the red pepper is not very chewable if you got one in the mouth. But overall a good dish... The fried shrimp was delicious it had Panko coating on it. Steam buns were good & tasty.... I tried the sesame seed buns and I did not like them They were not my cuppaa of tea for me. I was not quite sure of the deep fried silver buns ..They tasted okay...... Overall good portions good food definitely recommend this place.

Ordered a kung pao chicken combo meal. It turned out to be a kung pao celery dish instead. Literally half the plate is celery. It's too bad because it tastes good but only a few pieces of chicken. The rice tastes like burnt oil and the chow mein is greasy. I asked for a side of hot sauce and did not get any. I wanted a large chicken and corn soup but on Grubhub they have it priced at $101.95, I suggest updating this info. Soup was ok. I'll likely not order from here again.

So far I've visited twice & I have enjoyed their food both days. I am vegetarian so I was excited to see they have vegetarian options! My husband loved his food too. We will definitely come back .

YH is a fun place to go to because the exterior and bathrooms scream Macaroni Grill, but walking inside it becomes a classic Chinese dim sum banquet hall! This review is based on their dim sum menu. Yue Huang has a bunch of options and my wife and I intend to eat through their entire menu to try to distill our favorite things. So far we have thoroughly enjoyed their shanghai pan-fried buns, steam rice roll w/breadstick, steam golden shrimp rice roll, and crispy pork belly. I highly recommend you go with a group of adventurous eaters because as any good dim sum veteran knows: more people means more dishes you can try!

The AI said it was top rated, and we had never been. By 7pm the dining room was busy, many of the parties Asian We ordered a pot of tea, crispy pork, potstickers, roast duck, honey bbq pork and the house noodle dish Yue Huang Chow Fun which had shrimp and chicken. THE PROS: Nice sit down restaurant decor. Large tables and cushy upholstered chairs. Not a strip mall cubicle. They have actually been awarded Michelin Honors three times. Portions were good sized, and flavors were nice. THE CONS: Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed by everything. All of the dishes arrived just warm. Staff never checked on us - not once - until we asked for some to-go boxes. They have two large tvs in the dining room, showing a loop of the restaurant I'm currently sitting in. The music in the dining area must have been on "Slow Girl Ballad" station on Spotify's free tier- as we honestly listed to a 10 min Samsung commercial in between songs - and not at a low volume. BOTTOM LINE: Maybe we were the exception- as there were clearly enough patrons to show it is a popular - but nothing about our experience made us want to come again. I guess we didn't see what the Michelin people saw. PRICE: $80

On my latest visit it was a very busy Sunday, but I was able to place an order for take-out and then wait in my car for the order to be ready. I ended up ordering the pork steamed rice noodle roll, the beef and cilantro steamed rice noodle roll, the garlic long beans, and the beef and mixed mushrooms. I saw a couple of other Elites dining in when I was ordering, but it was so busy I couldn't properly say hi, so "HI DAVID AND EVA!" I'll have to keep an eye out for their next review, because whatever they had looked delish! I waited in the car for a bit and then when the order still needed a few more minutes I popped into the dollar store next door to kill a bit more time. Before I knew it my order was ready to go. They packed everything really nicely and we served it up as soon as we got home. Their rice noodle rolls are so flavorful and I love the sweet, salty and savory sauce that comes with it. The noodles are really filling, and the dishes we got would be enough food for 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. We ate the rice rolls right away and then had leftover green beans and beef and mushrooms for lunch today. The green beans were fresh and had a great garlic flavor, without it being too much. The Beef and Mushrooms was great, the beef was tender and flavorful and the mushrooms soaked up all the sauce. There were also green beans in this dish, which was a perfect addition. I really need to dine in soon for the full experience, but take-out has always been a win for me.

Solid Cantonese Dim Sum With Traditional Push Carts!…read more Ming Dynasty on Broadway in Sacramento was a Michelin Guide-recommended restaurant in 2019. It's known for serving all-day dim sum from traditional push carts, so I considered it a good choice for Cantonese food and dim sum. Parking: Free but limited within the complex Ambience: Casual Service: Decent, friendly They also have areas you can rent for private parties, such as baby showers and other gatherings. The dim sum carts had barely started making their way around the room when the next cart stopped by our table. The carts were constantly being refilled with a wide variety of dishes and continuously circulating, so there were plenty of options to choose from. We ordered the usual dim sum favorites. Everything was tasty with no major issues, and the prices were reasonable. Adj: dependably and predictably ok Chinese food…read more We've been coming here for Chinese meals both sit down and take out from when they used to be Holiday Villa. That was decades ago. About 10 or so years ago, they changed ownership or rather they went through what seems like several changes and then they became Lucky Jade which is kind of a chain but not exactly. I recall at one time, the workers wear shirts that look kind of like uniforms with another store's name on the back with address and phone numbers, so apparently Lucky Jade is owned by people who also own a few other Chinese restaurants but not by the same exact name. In any case, Chinese food can be pretty formulaic, so it's not really that hard to have consistency as long as the cooks know how to make common standard dishes, the taste generally would not be too different. This is true for Lucky Jade. We had take out recently and got a chow fun, a chow mein, and a broccoli beef. The first was quite tasty, on the oily side but I've not found any place able to make it not too oily and still yummy so it's necessary for this dish. Then there's the chow mein, this one was not good. Kind of non descript and the oil tasted oil (reused). Not too greasy which is my biggest complaint of chow mein from elsewhere like New Lai Wah, but again, this did not taste fresh. Finally, the broccoli beef was overcooked. Broccoli was not quite mushy but almost, still a little bit of crunch but you can see they were turning yellow. And the beef was so chemically tenderized (hopefully only with baking soda and not worse) bc it was also almost mushy. Wasn't cheap either, but on par with other Chinese restaurants around here for take out. I think I'll just tell my in laws they can just order from Bel Air Hot Chinese food deli on Florin Rd which is in the same plaza and they'd pay less and the food would actually taste better with fresher oil (probably not reused) and better quality beef that doesn't need to be tenderized to a questionable quality. Overall, not too good.
