Cholo Taco and Carne Asada Taco
Jessica M.

I was with a group of 5 that came around 2pm on a Saturday and it was pretty busy but we were able to get a table. All the seating is outside so makes for a fun vibe. We shared the queso and guacamole. The guacamole was sooo good. Lots of lime and was just perfect. I got the Birria Taco and it was really good. My husband got Cholo taco which for vegetarian was actually really good and the carne asada which was good. Servers were nice. Great spot.

Fun spot to eat at. It has outdoor seating mostly and a couple of tables inside. The food was delicious. Very small menu options but honestly so good. The staff is friendly and the restaurant although small and cozy, was clean. They serve toco"s that taste authentic. Give it a try!!

We'd driven past several times and saw the adorable garden patio area, and we finally got around to visiting! We went for lunch while it was snowing, so we sat inside by a heater, but we totally felt like we'd been transported to a warmer place by the fun decor and music. We tried the birria tacos with the consomme to dip (which is extra, but absolutely required), the chicken tinga, and the carne asada. Everything was so delicious, and the tacos were well loaded with meat and very filling. We also had the rice and beans, which had a lovely smokiness and were really good too. Fair warning: the prices are a bit high. We had two tacos each and a couple of sides and our bill was about $40 after tax and tip. But we definitely felt like it was worth it, with the fun vibe and the delicious food! Our waiter also told us that they're going to be opening up a bar this summer, so keep an eye out for that!

Hola tacos has a really cute seating area right off the bat. You can sit out by all the picnic tables, but they also have another area basically under a tent that's decorated very cutely and is really nice for pictures! The server was really nice and attentive, always making sure we had what we needed, and offering things she thought we would want. And the food itself, although a bit more expensive than I thought was worth, was very good! I've seen a lot of people raving about the quesabirria so we got that and it met expectations. But I think the star of the show was the street corn, I would definitely go back for it. And it gets even better if you add queso with it. We also got the Mexican ramen which was not my favorite. The broth was good but the ramen was literally just packet ramen they added to it. Still very good but just not worth it in my opinion.

Food is delicious. Quesabarilla is delicious and so are the street tacos. Tried the al pastor or barilla (beef). Both were so good. No complaints.

Quesabirria, Birria Beef Taco and Carne Asada Taco with Consome Broth

Been craving Birria Tacos and I was completely WOW'd. The quesadilla was so filling, we took that to go cause we wanted to still eat the tacos. The tacos are $6 per, but it's like you're eating x2 $3 tacos in one. Service was great, and the vibe was so "summer" and it was perfect to end our day. The containers are perfect for a quick to go as well.

If you are driving through the area, would recommend you try to swing by and grab some birria tacos!! $4.50 each, I got two with consome dipping sauce - $3. Make sure to get the consome, they also provide guacamole, hot sauce and sour cream. All you need is the dipping sauce. The taco was excellent, the saltiness of the cheese was awesome and consume dipping sauce brought all the flavors together!! If you have time, dine in, they have outdoor seating. Since I was on my road trip, I ordered ahead... said it'd be 35 minutes, which worked out perfectly. The place wasn't busy, order was ready, picked it up was going to eat in my car, but opted to seat at the outdoor bench. Parking is limited, I did street parking. Next time, will do dine-in for sure.

Chile Colorado Burrito -- Chicken Tinga inside. I did not add beans to my order ($10.25). 13 August 2020.

I had no idea Hola Tacos existed because I never drive on Madison Ave. but yes, they opened in December 2019. They are a small taco joint with only outside seating so it is a perfect place to visit during warm weather months. I had just left Revival (skin store) on Madison Ave. and I was starving so I decided to order dinner. ORDERING PROCESS -- I visited in person and ordered a burrito to-go. I wore a mask and all staff were wearing masks too, to adhere with COVID-19 protocols. I waited for about 20 to 25 minutes to receive my order. They failed to call my order out so it was sitting there ready to be picked up but I didn't know it. Only after I went up to inquire, did someone say that indeed my order was ready. BURRITO - I ordered the Chile Colorado Burrito (currently $12.50) on a busy summer evening in August 2020. I believe the price was $10.25 when I ordered so they may have increased the price. The burrito has chicken inside and I got mine without any beans. The description of this dish on their menu is "Flour tortilla stuffed with Mexican rice, refried beans and your choice of protein and covered in Chile marinade, radish, cilantro and queso fresco" I really loved that this burrito had radish and cilantro on top. It gave it an extra boost of flavour and it is different than a regular burrito. The chicken inside the burrito was very well seasoned too. It is a HUGE burrito and I can't remember if I finished it all in one setting. I recommend this burrito if you are a meat lover. Besides burritos, they have tacos and rice bowls on their menu, amongst other items. I will definitely visit again to order a birria taco which everyone has been raving about. It is basically a slow-braised beef taco dipped in a beef sauce. It looks like a mini quesadilla. It can also be made with goat meat. It looks super delicious. Until my next review, give this local business some support. **** - 3/100 total reviews in 2021 (100 goal) - 422 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 2 January 2021

Amazing taco joint in Lakewood that provides fresh ingredients & makes you feel like you are right at home! Order a couple tacos with friends and we were wowed how amazing the tacos were. They had the heaters on for all of us sitting outside. Our waitress was extremely helpful and provided us great recommendations. The tacos came out super quick and it was an overall quick dinner! They have a little lot that you can park in, or there is a lot of street parking to pick from. I am excited to taste the whole menu.

I loved it. They have this hard taco that was so delicious. Only down fall is everything is outside. Not a yearly place for Cleveland.

What billionaire is renting mahalls on a Saturday night. We ended up walking around Lakewood only to hear a place bumping music. Turns out it was taco tantos. We walked in and vibes were electric. Pokemon playing on the TV. Staff hustling and trying to make everyone happy. Burrito whiffed in the air. We sat down and ordered a smorgasbord and of course a Pacifico (the only place in Cleveland I've seen appreciate having Pacifico stocked). Being from SoCal I'm a bit of a burrito connoisseur. Cilantro satisfies. Ohio City is pretty good. But TT itches the urge for a burrito. Sauces are scrumptious. Not many places get the correct toastyness of the tortilla blanket. There's earlier reviews that say they're unimpressed with the food, but they ordered a fucking rice and bean taco. Of course ur not gonna be impressed by a rice and bean taco silly goose. Order the steak burrito. Add jalapeños. Drink a Pacifico. Call it a night. Thank you TT.

The restaurant is large and open with a nice bar area with ample seating. Very vibrant and colorful. Everything was excellent. The server brought a basket of warm tortilla chips and a large bowl of salsa to our table. I ordered the Pollo Costeño with spanish rice on the side. It was a flat grilled chicken breast topped with bacon, cheese, and pineapple, such an outstanding combination of flavors. The sweet pineapple with the savory bacon and melted cheese worked so well together. It was slightly salty for my personal taste, but overall still very good. It came with guacamole, tomato, and lettuce on the side. I would've loved if it included flour tortillas to turn it into a wrap, but that's just a personal preference. My husband ordered the fajita burrito, and it was huge! He absolutely loved it and said it was packed with flavor. It was so big he even had leftovers to bring home. One of my sons ordered the tamale with rice and black beans combo, and my other son kept it simple with two à la carte bean burritos with queso cheese on top served with refried beans and Spanish rice on the side. Overall, it was a great family dinner with flavorful food and generous portions. We all took leftovers home. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!
