Food and service were great but the paying the bill aspect leaves a lot to be desired! We enjoyed our meal, the service was great but when I went to pay the bill I was told the amount (not given a bill detailing the charges) so I did not know that they had already charged us a tip because we were a group of 6. I then gave them a generous 20% tip on top of that and then was asked if I wanted a receipt. It was only after I had paid and received the receipt that I saw I had double tipped. Too late by then! I now know to ask for a detailed bill before paying but I really shouldn't have to. Just be aware. read more

I ordered to go and got the chicken tacos for lunch. I got back to my office and my box had a burrito with barbacoa in it instead I was disappointed but not too upset about the mix up to go back. Unfortunately when eating the meal the rice was so hard it was crunchy like it had been reheated several times. The meat was also extremely dry/over cooked as if it was sitting under a heating lamp all day. The actual sauces were very good. I'm hoping that these issues are due to them just opening I would go back in a few months to see if things are better. read more

We got the braised beef tacos and the al pastor tacos, along with chIps and guacamole. Everything needed more seasoning, in fact, the food tasted like there wasn't any seasoning at all. Even the supposed hot sauce was mild, at best. This cost $50. They're new and I get that there is a learning curve, but please: Add flavor to your food. I really wanted to like this place, but it's just ok. Very expensive for what it is and everything is ala carte including tostada to dip in queso. Call me crazy but if I'm ordering $9 queso I should get chips thrown in. And $8 extra for a half cup each of rice and beans is insane. Rice and beans are cheap. Ultimately I paid $35 before tax and tip for a burrito, rice and beans, queso and a pop. And it was just alright - nothing knocking my socks off flavor wise. I think I'll stick to Barrio. read more

We went to Hola for the first time, a group of 7 of us. When you look at the Instagram advertisements they show margaritas. We get there it is all outside no indoor dining and no alcohol. The irony is that it has a sign that says "cerveza" outside of their trailer, maybe is the word To explain the dwelling. When I asked the server why they share posts of margaritas when there are none he explained that maybe the other locations have alcohol. Second issue was It clearly states on the top of the menu tostadas and salsa complimentary. We asked for it as our server didn't bring any to us when we ordered queso. We had 7 people so we asked for 2 and he started adding to bill on the ipad. I told him it is complimentary, they are free, he said no only 1 is free. I said we have 7 people all ordering food how can we only get 1? He said only 1 free, but there is no salsa on the menu. Third issue was the taste of the food. The queso and the two tacos were good. The Mexican rice was the blandest most boring thing I have ever tasted. It did not have one bit of seasoning besides cilantro. I will not visit this location and maybe try another location instead, to give this chain one more shot. read more

Disappointed. We wanted a drink and tacos only to find out it's BYOB... would have been nice to know before hand as they advertise CERVEZAS on the side of the building. No alcohol despite advertising alcohol. Way overpriced for what you get. Chorizo had fried whole unsalted tortillas rather than actual chips. The atmosphere is nice. Of course their are waits now but we expected better service. The woman was nice but never came back and when she did she forgot half the stuff. We were trying to give her minimal trips and asked for everyone's thing at once. As for the food I am vegetarian and ordered the cauliflower it was to be roasted it tasted like fumes, so I could not get past that and did not even eat it. As for the rest of the meat eaters at our table they all agreed it was dry and they would not order their again. They said the broth was boring and lacked flavor. The one person who got the steak said it was really juicy so maybe try that if you are looking for a put together dish. As for time spent there we waited 1 hour and 15 mins for our food after we placed the order. She never came back during that time, yes they were busy so we waited. This place isn't bad, but it's not great either. They have a couple good things on their menu I've tried the Birria tacos and quesadilla and both are tasty. Unfortunately anything else I had there wasn't good. And service is hit or miss, often a miss. My last visit I ordered chips with salsa and guacamole, they brought out 2 orders of guacamole and no salsa. I asked my server she said they messed up our order and never asked if we wanted salsa. I didn't bother asking again because I was upset. The chips at this place are not tortilla chips they are tostada shells big thick and hand size. The seating can be annoying it's all out door seats and there usually a line of people waiting for to go orders. They also have bottled water when you sit down to eat which I'm ok with that, but they charge you for how many you drink. This is basically a to go restaurant and because of that and the mediocre food, I don't recommend sitting down to eat at this restaurant. Lastly the food is not worth the hassle. read more

I had the burrito with barbacoa and tried all their salsas and I have to say that was one of the best I've had in the Cleveland area! It was covered in a red Colorado sauce with queso, cilantro and onions. Full of flavor and the meat was good quality. Definitely a burrito you need a fork and knife to eat.
