Stumbled into Hola yesterday with my husband and wow... tapas heaven! The wine list is longer than my holiday shopping list, and the flavors basically threw a fiesta in my mouth. Service? Let's just say we were treated like long-lost royalty (minus the crown, sadly). Our food came out hot, fast, and delicious -- no hanger meltdowns required. Already planning my return trip with friends, because tapas are way more fun when you can steal off everyone else's plate.

Had a really good meal at Hola. Small space. We embraced the tapas and shared 4 different dishes. My favorite was the calamari over black rice. The rice was likely made black by using squid ink or something similar. Delicious. I love the subtle seafood flavor of the rice. We enjoyed each of our other dishes too - I loved the moorish lamb stew as well. Surprisingly, it has figs in it which created, when cooked melted into the stew except for the little crunch seeds. It gave the stew an incredible texture. The asparagus and patatas bravas were also very good.

Great Spanish inspired tapas. Loved the calamari over black rice was absolute authentic perfection and , the crab cake over pungent greens were very tasty . The pork belly was a bit more tangy than I expected. Still goood and the bed for cous cous was good The pincho beef skewers were tasty but a little too greasy with the chimichurri in excess. still the meat was tasty. Nice tapas bar wine selection was ok also beers and cava Indoor and outdoor seating avaikabel

Hola experience was good. Quaint ambience. Loved the portraits on the wall. Pretty restrooms. I ordered tapas as I am lacto vegetarian that day and got a few plates from their cheese and veggies section. The baked goat cheese with toast was amazing! So was the grilled asparagus and patatas bravas. But, I did not like the charred cauliflower. My friends got the paella and boy it was steaming hot that my friends were literally sweating! We sampled all their desserts. Their bread pudding was fantastic! Great texture and perfect amount of sweetness. The chocolate truffles, churros and rice pudding were pretty good as well. The only thing is that the waiter said he wouldn't do separate checks. Overall, satisfied with the visit.

Ok I was immediately seated and the place is clean enough, and it was a pleasure to sit at the counter and watch the talented chefs at work. This is a performance kitchen, and they can't hide any secrets. Listed under "cheese and veggies", even the "asparagus" and "patatas bravas" have meat (ham and chorizo, respectively). I guess I can understand enough Spanish at this point that I low key knew what I was getting into, but the asparagus definitely didn't need that jamon. The tuna was both too meaty and too shredded, and was paired with an unexpected hair, so I didn't manage to finish, and the kind server seemed distracted, so I didn't try to give feedback. Overall I assume Hola gets fresh ingredients on Thursdays, and that I was catching ingredients on their way out, and (based on other reviews) I can assume that their weekend guests get a better show.

I give this place a 5*. The service was impeccable and very informative about the food and drink selection.

Everything about this place was outstanding. The food was delicious the service was impeccable and the ambiance was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend this place. My favorite was the Moroccan lamb stew. I loved the wine our awesome server recommended. Our dessert was the chocolate truffles and the sangria flan.

I love this place, I've been here a few times and it's my go to tapas place! It has a very homey vibe, like you're somewhere is Europe. Beware though, the kitchen closes about an hour before they close, but they will let you know as soon as you walk in and work with you. The food is good and less expensive than other tapas places and they have a decent wine selection!

Love this spot! The ultimate girl dinner... tapas! The service here goes above and beyond! Extremely friendly and attentive wait staff. Cute and cozy inside and a really cool outdoor patio as well for when the weather is nice! Food is really good too. My favorites I've tried so far include the charred cauliflower, bay scallops (nonnegotiable MUST order!!), and tuna tartare. So much more on the menu that I want to go back & try! Warning parking might be tricky for you. Cheapest parking (if you can't snag a street parking spot) will probably be parking at Hemisfair Park and walking over. It's close to Hemisfair/Civic Park so it's great place to eat then stroll through that cute area of town!

I will say the GPS got a little confused in the route for some reason and I nearly missed an exit and even the entrance (there was some construction going on) There is plenty of parking, but the parking lot was pretty full. You walk up and either walk through the courtyard style Biergarten with tables or you can go inside. It was an unseasonably nice day, so, we opted to sit outside There is a QR code to view the menus. There are entrees and plenty of apps/sharables. There is also a very extensive beer menu. Make no mistake, this is their bread and butter. They boast an imprecise "99 beers on tap." There's local brews, light and dark beers, hoppy, Belgium style, German style, wheat, etc etc etc. if that's not your speed there are cocktails and non-alcoholic options. Our server was fantastic. She was very kind and patient with us. We were constantly checked in on, but not in a hovering way or a pressure to leave. Our food and drinks always came out in a timely manner. She made us feel well taken care of The drinks hit the spot, and the food was tasty. It was definitely a chill vibe/hang. We were there for hours just catching up, and we saw other happy hours, birthday parties, dates, bachelorette parties, etc Some tips: I did order a couple beers that they were temporarily out of, but there are so many beers to pivot to. Also, our server was incredibly helpful in offering other suggestions, similar suggestions, and asking the right questions to help land in the next alternative They are not open Mondays, and they're only open until 11pm Tuesday-Thursday (and Sunday). Friday and Saturday they're open til 1am. Also, on Saturdays and Sunday's they offer brunch from 11am-3pm) The Reuben was surprisingly delicious Cheers!!

It's been a while since have done brunch and o won't be in a hurry to return to brunch specifically The service was superb, we had a great server and he was absolutely on top of everything which was great! Beers were also great as was the mimosa I had and the kids we were with seemed to like their meals which came out last and they said theirs were hot - ours were not unfortunately. I had the Lox eggs Benedict and in retrospect should have sent it back as it was stone cold! My husband and our friend got the biscuits and gravy and also reported that they were cold - it was also served in a bowl which was a bad idea as the biscuits completely soaked up the gravy and resembled oatmeal by the time it hit the table! We got one meal - waffles and chicken to go and the waffles were inedible- poorly mixed, gritty and so much hot sauce in the mixture that they burned the back of the throat - they had to be trashed ! I love this place but won't return in a hurry for brunch - granted multiple dishes with eggs are hard to time right so we ended up with cold food that did however taste good

Parking was adequate (no other cars in the lot) - don't know about the requirement for "signing in" since the parking lot is some how managed by cameras/computers. I just parked and we walked in. I hate those systems. The young woman behind the bar was friendly and paid attention to what we said - a pleasant experience. The order was placed at the bar and not at the table. We placed the order and it promptly arrived. The prices were certainly reasonable. The service to the table was great. The interior is rather sterile - but has various accoutrements to some what offset that - certainly not like a pub warm feeling. The beer I order was maybe a C+. It seemed a bit flat, but had a good taste. The hamburger, Grand Tour Hamburger, at $16.50 was really enjoyable. I requested it not be "smashed" ( I don't like smash burgers) and to be cooked rare - but it came out medium well. Nevertheless the flavors of the meat and toppings were quite satisfying. I think I return and find a beer that I may really like. Then that may elevate Breakaway to a 5 star - it is almost there now.

Basically a bicycle theme microbrewery that has a fantastic lay out and such inviting space with comfy couches and other seating. The vibes are all Breaking Away (some of a certain age will remember this 70s movie). Had a flight + 2 full pours. All their beers are solid and it was hard to find which full pours I was going to have. Their Marzen was definitely the winner both times. If you can, try it before it runs out as it's only being offered for Oktoberfest. The bar keep was super cool, attentive and definitely added to the vibe.

If you have the opportunity, definitely ask to sit in Bella's section. She is attentive, personable, and an absolute sweetheart. Experiences like this are what keep people coming back.
