Where do you even start on perfection? To begin with we have the heirloom burrata salad and I truly have never tasted anything more fresh and perfect for a hot Texas day. We had the chicken and the pasta with the fried zucchini. Both were absolutely exceptional. The star of my day was the Sicillano drink. Smoked with white oak. Don't let that scare you if you don't like smoked drinks. I don't typically either however this was spectacular. I will be returning with my entire group of family, friends, relatives, and people I don't even know who I hail off the street to come eat with me. It was truly a pleasure. I also have the melon drink and that was wonderful.

My most recent Thursday night visit left much to be desired. The only highlight was our server, Justin. He did a great job and was very attentive. I was hoping to try the meatball Ferris wheel again but it has been removed from the menu. Unfortunately the meatball sampler was extremely dry and bland. Every meatball tasted the same. There was a small amount of vodka sauce. Not nearly enough to mask the dry / mealy texture. My daughter had pappardelle pasta with meat sauce. Also extremely bland. We added salt and pepper but there was no hint of garlic or Italian seasoning. When a hungry college student doesn't want a to go box, you know something is wrong. Glad I learned on this visit as I was planning to bring my friends. For the price and atmosphere, I'll stick with North Italia instead.

San Antonio is super lucky to have this great restaurant! Jealous it's not in DFW. Abbey our waitress was very kind and patient and accommodating. The manager checked on us as well which was really appreciated. My pasta was so good - all the noodles are made fresh in house -the moscato I had was 10/10 too. I'd love to come back maybe for a date night.

My visit to The Sicilian Butcher was specifically for enjoying the Happy Hour. They have some great food and drink options but Happy Hour is only at the bar. The bartender was our server and he accommodated us efficiently. We had the fried calamari and split a Hot Sicilian personal pizza. Both were so good! The hot sauce on the Hot Sicilian was a perfect amount of heat to add flavor and I love love love their fried calamari. The Sicilian Butcher is becoming a go to for me when I'm on that side of town for their ambience, service and delicious Italian food.

Went for date night and it was a nice spot, we sat on a high top the only feedback I have is their tables are super close together I could hear the conversations next to us. Food came out fast and our server was very attentive. We order the meat balls and some chicken dish it was ok didn't make a big impression but I would try it again.

The Sicilian Butcher near The Rim is a fresh take on Italian dining that brings something genuinely fun and creative to the table. One of the standout moments was the appetizers, especially the meatballs Ferris wheel -- a unique presentation that immediately sets the tone for the meal. It's playful, shareable, and surprisingly well-executed. The fresh pasta is another highlight. You can taste the quality in every bite, and the build-your-own pasta option is a great twist that lets you customize your dish without losing that traditional Italian foundation. It feels both familiar and inventive at the same time. Overall, this is a strong new addition to the San Antonio Italian scene. Great for groups, date nights, or anyone looking for something a little different while still getting solid, comforting Italian food done right.

Not a bad spot but not good, either...was there for my wife's birthday (wanted to try something different)...I had Meatball Ferris Wheel...cool concept...only enjoyed about two of them...the Fig & Pear bruschetta...OUTSTANDING...the Margherita pizza was good but the crust was next level...I talked my wife into the Pork Chop Parmigiana...taste EXACTLY like Veal Parmigiana...it was unusually large & just blah...the same with the service...was not good or bad just BLAH...this is a spot for a decent Italian dinner...but I left underwhelmed

Arrived early to beat the lunch crowd on the weekend. Service was wonderful by Gabriela. We chose to sit bar top and the vibe is great, love the layout of the restaurant and glad to see there are NO television monitors, evidence that conversation and food experience is valued. What I liked most about the wine selections is the option of a 6 or 9 ounce pour. Bottle is also available. Our meal was chef's kiss and absolutely returning for the summer citrus salad.

The food was ok but I was expecting to not wowed. Went on a night where a special was offered. Great Value.

Had a great lunch at the Sicilian butcher. We were able to order our items off the lunch menu, which was very decently priced. Upon arriving to the restaurant, we were sat pretty quickly and first thoughts was the decorations were super cute. The lunch menu included an appetizer of your choice. One of us chose a salad the other two chose the bruschetta and one other chose the soup option. For the means the chicken Parmesan was super good highly recommend it. However, the fig and pig ciabatta was good. It just had way too much fig on it for my liking. $18 lunch menu is definitely a steal for this restaurant!! highly recommend

Perfect little place for date night. Our server, Orlando, was very helpful and attentive. We started off with "Nonna's bread" which was the best carb appetizer I have ever had. We were able to share an order of the "build your own" which we went with Rigatoni alla vodka with Tony's steak meatball. The whole thing was very light but filling. The meatball was so tender you could cut it with your fork. Finally, finished with the Ferris wheel cannoli experience, definitely a try once and then go over to the bakery any other time you go. We will be going back, many a time.

Allllll the delicious delicacies. Perfect for after dinner to go. Cheesecake was delish

Great customer experience from beginning to end. Nice happy hour specials and longer hours if at a high table. Got the margarita pizza with pepperoni. The sauce was absolutely delicious! I want to come back and try a dish with the pizza sauce. The crust didn't need the honey or sweet glaze on it. I'll get again and ask for without. I want it savory all the way and grab a sorbet on the way out. Friend had the sausage chicken and pepper dish. LOVED the baby onions in it! Great vibe for a date. I went for a girlfriend check in. We had great convo over a bottle of wine. I'll go back and bring hubbae.

When we got to the first landing area, we saw the sign and decided we had to go in and check it out. There is a bar when you first walk in then another bar to the left. We knew the security guard that was working and checking IDs so we were excited to say hi to him. The bar was super busy and all the booths were taken, but the bartenders took our order and by the time the drinks were made, two people were leaving and gave us their spots. We only went in for a nightcap after a dinner date so I'm unsure if they have food/ bar snacks or anything. We'd definitely go back if we're ever in the area.

Valet is complimentary when dining at the restaurant. That is particularly helpful in this cold weather. When we entered the restaurant the dining area was empty. There were a few patrons at the bar but no one at any dining tables. Maybe a sign?? The reviews on Google and Yelp are all over the place. The decor is nice but the seating is a little outdated and worn. I can understand this, though, because I am sure they get a lot of family traffic being a hotel so close to Six Flags. Our waiter, Robert, came right over to take our order. He was friendly and personable. The Restaurant Week menu had two choices for each course, so my friend and I ordered everything so we could try it. First up, the appetizers were poblano and corn soup or heirloom tomato salad with blue cheese. The soup was delicious but was not very hot temperature-wise. The salad is a beautiful idea, but the tomatoes were just bad. They were out of season, mushy, and tasteless. I love tomatoes, so I was disappointed. Next up entrees. My friend had the braised short rib with beans and rice. I had the Redfish with rice and green beans. The short rib was excellent, but it came out at room temperature. Considering we were the only ones there that was a red flag. My fish was seasoned well, and I enjoyed it, but it was room temperature also. Is there a draft in the kitchen? Other reviews mentioned their food was not hot so it seems like a trend. For the amount you pay, the food should be piping hot when it comes to the table. Finally, we got to dessert. I had the creme Brulee cheesecake and my friend had the campfire dark chocolate torte. The desserts were delicious with no complaints at all. This place has a lot of potential, but there are too many restaurants in San Antonio, so you have to make a positive impact on your customers, so they want to return.
