I really like my tires that I purchased from them 2 years ago but again that scheduled appointment was over an hour and a half late! They are getting worse than a doctors office with over booking! I changed my 2 star to a 3 stars because my car was done in 9 minutes. But just imagine had it went in within 5 or 10 minutes of my appointment time the total time would've been less then 20 minutes.

They used a satin finish that didn't match the finish of my other wheels. The tech actually claimed he "matched the center cap," which is a different material and color than the wheel face, and told me the paint "needed time in the sun" to change texture. Safety Issue: After the second attempt, the paint chipped immediately, causing a leaky tire. When I called to report this, the receptionist said chipping paint wouldn't cause a leak, which isn't accurate when the chip is on the bead seat. Avoidance & Dishonesty: I called on Monday and was told the manager, Sylvester, would call me back. I waited a full day and never heard a word. I eventually had to call corporate just to get the GM Sal's number to get any movement. The Interaction: When I finally went in for a refund, I ended up speaking directly to Sylvester. He claimed he never called me back because he was "working nights," even though the staff had confirmed he was on-site during the day when I originally called. I accepted the refund because I no longer trust this shop's honesty or technical ability. If you have a high-end vehicle or aftermarket wheels, save yourself the headache and go to a specialist who actually knows what they are doing.

He comes out to the car, and absolutely does not even look at my braks pads. He takes down my plate, checks out my "tires" (they sell tires), and tells me I need two new tires. I inform him I am not there for my tires, I am there for my "visual" brake inspection. He tells me to do a visual brake inspection, they have to put the car up and remove all the tires. He also chopped my head off for saying I didn't come for tires today. I sat there in the lobby, as they moved the other young ladies car who had the same appointment as me, and had been waiting. I didn't feel that I could trust this Mavis. I felt he thought I didn't know what a visual brake inspection was. I told him, "I have had visual inspections, and they check between the spokes to visually inspect my pads. He responded "do you want your brakes inspected today". I told him that is why I was there, I just wanted clarity since it was different. After sitting down a for a good half an hour waiting, I just felt this wasn't a shop I trusted to give me honest results, or service. I cancelled my appointment and left. I literally went up the street, to the other Mavis, and they came out, did my visual inspection, and let me know that the pads needed to be replaced on my rear brakes, and that is why the light in my mercedes came on. Unlike this shop, they were honest about the time frame. This shop told me I would be only 15 minutes, yet, I sat thrity, and no one even came and said a word to me. The Mavis that has my car right now, was very honest, and let me know when my car would be ready. When I told them what happened at this shop they confirmed, that Mavis visual inspections do not require removing all four tires. He explained that is not included in the free service. I believe this shop is engagning in unethical practices, and they want to put our cars out, remove the tires and drum up charges. They can't justify telling you that you need new rotors through a visual inspection. However, if the pads are not worn down, the rotor is fine. My front pads, are at %50, and my rear pads needed the attention and replacement. Mind you I had an appointment. I barely see anyone in the shop, and another customer waiting with the same time appointment as me, and she had been sitting also for her brakes. I believe this shop is scamming people based on my experience. I am reaching out to their headquarters on Monday. His telling me visual inspections require removing all tires was dishonest, and is not in compliance with a Mavis Franchise. They need to be audited. It is false advertisement. The whole shop just gives you ghetto vibes. I will never go back there again. He thought I didn't know what a visual inspection is. Even if you google Mavis visual inspections, it tells you that they come out to the car and do a visual inspection of the breaks through the spokes. And that is a quote. The shop I intended to book with confirmed it, and apologized for my experience.
