A place you can trust. Have used them for a number of years. They service a variety of makes and have after hours drop off.

Wow what an experience I had, unfortunately for me my transmission conked out on my 2000 Chevy…read moreblazer. Even more unfortunately for me, I was seeking the best price and did not know that when you shop for transmission repair you shop by warranty and not by price. So after calling varying places, I decided on Certified Transmissions price of $1450 to "rebuild" my transmission with a six month warranty. It was the best deal I found, which was about $150 less than any other place that offered at least a year warranty. So I had my car towed to "Certified Transmission" now trying to hide under the aliase ""Transmissions for Less". They basically "fixed" my transmission " they did not rebuild it", I will explain later. My car was ready in the time frame they said, so I picked up my Vehicle and I was on my way. Six months later and 1 day, yes exactly one day I am not kidding, the transmission failed again(1 day after the warranty expired). I called Certified Transmissions aka Transmissions for less, and they told me I would have to pay them another $1450 to "fix" my transmission for another 6 month warranty. I realized something was fishy here, how can my transmission fail in 6 months and 1 day after they apparently "rebuilt it" ? I found a another transmission company that explained to me what kind of corrupt practices places like "Certified Transmission aka Transmission for less" scheme on, which are quite common in the transmission repair business according to them. They told me they are suppose to buy a kit for about $80 to replace all of the internal warn/broken parts and seals, basically making the transmission new once rebuilt. But they said that is not what they did, they only replaced what they visually saw broken when they opened the transmission. They ignored the worn or degrading replaceable parts they are suppose to replace, as long as they are not broken. They did not rebuild the transmission at all, they just "fix it" so it runs. Knowing very well that the other aged warn parts are going to fail soon, hoping it does not fail within the warranty period. They hope it fails after the warranty period, so they can charge you another $1450.00 to "fix" it again. He also explained to me the longer the warranty a transmission repair shop offers, the more likely they are using the kit or are at least replacing most of the worn and broken parts and seals. My advice, stay far far away from Certified Transmission / Transmission for less, unless you want to end up like me and pay $1450 for a "fix" initially and and another $1750 with another company to rebuild my transmission within 6 months of each other. $3200 total in six months. "Certified Transmission / Transmission for Less" seem to be trying to hide their tracks with multiple phone numbers and using different aliases. Here are some of their numbers (770) 982-3888 (770) 736-4187 (770) 466-8119 (404) 325-6700. I suggest everyone to seek out a multi-year transmission warranty when rebuilding your transmission. It might cost a few hundred more, but that is better than it failing in a year or so or two and having to pay another $1700 dollars again like me.

I had the owner do work on my transmission. It took 3 months for him to finish but he got the job…read moredone. A $5,000 job in which my warranty covered half. A year later, the transmission was recalled and Audi was willing to give me back the money but I had no receipt to submit. After making $5000 off my services, you'd think the owner would be more than willing to provide the receipt that I lost. He remembered my car situation very well. But nope, he only cussed me out on the phone??? As far as I'm concerned, the owner is not mentally stable after his unwarranted outburst and I would not recommend dealing with them.
