    Nice indoor/ outdoor patio seating.

Very nice ambiance. Wait time was minimal with amazing service. Food selection was great. We traveled with kids and they were kid friendly.

Can't erase my draft. 3 stars went with friends for dinner. Service was ok. The waitress was also a bartender the salmon I wanted was not available. There's a lot of shrimp.on the menu I'm.allergic to. Small menu. We shared the wings. They were good but I ended up with chicken Parm and spaghetti. The chicken didn't seem hot enough and I really didn't like it. The spaghetti was passable. I really didn't enjoy my meal and it was expensive

While Pork Benedict w/ sweet potato fries was aesthetically appealing, it was not the best I've tried in nyc. The pork was lack a bit of flavor and a tad dry but it wasn't bad. Citizens of SoHo definitely has the best pork Benedict I've tried. I also ordered the Lyres Austrian spritz which was a bit bitter. I would say Hole in the Wall is alright and I would need to try more on the menu to determine a more in depth review but it's a solid 3/5.

Here's the deal: adjacent to hotel this tiny place (much better than a hole in the wall) is friendly and has good food! The back room is a good spot for more private conversation(s) Avocado toast and coffee hit the spot Would def recommend

Had such a lovely breakfast here and would love to return to try their dinner menu! There was construction across the street but we still enjoyed sitting outside. I got a matcha latte that was just okay but my waffles were INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend, i also got a side of scrambled eggs for some protein and they were so flavorful as well. Service was fast and friendly.

SERVICE: PART 1 Made a reservation yesterday for brunch in noon time. Once we arrived, we were seated in the back area. AMBIANCE A cute cozy hole in the wall, that's for sure. Hanging plants with books and such, and wooden tables and metal outdoor chairs. Not the most comfy spot but expected from a "lunch on the patio with skylight" kind of warm feel. Big note: that the bathroom is outside the restaurant in the attached hotel and down a couple flights of stairs so for 1, kind of confusing and 2, not accessible!!! SERVICE: PART 2 Our waiter came by with menus and gave us water. Took our orders for drinks like coffee, which was fine...batch coffee is average diner stuff. Later, we ordered our entrees and those took 20 minutes to arrive...and one of the unpictured orders was misinterpreted. They brought pasta instead of a salad with chicken. So we waited another 10 minutes. Service was not the most attentive. It required much hand-raising to get attention that took away from the real experience or conversation. FOOD Once all the food arrived, it met expectations. Steak was done fine and the smoked salmon toast was as expected. Wish the toast was warmed up a bit more. OVERALL Average diner food at a higher price given the space, but probably not a spot I'd return to as a repeat visitor with friends. Definitely think there's other NYC spots with better all-around food, service, and value.

    Happy hour menu. July 2025

I use to work near this spot and always past by it. My friend suggested this spot and I was down since I heard good things about this place. Started off with rose sangria (HH - $10) and it was pretty good, not too sweet. Kicked it off with truffle parmesan fries ($12) which came with some sort of ketchup/mayo sauce and it was crispy and covered with parmesan, really good. Also got beef sliders (HH - $12) which came in medium rare with lettuce and tomato, solid sliders. For the main we got chicken Parma ($26) with salad, enjoyed that combo. Overall I had a good experience. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a happy hour spot with food. * Happy hour available * Bathroom downstairs * Good service

Went to the FiDi location years ago and then forgot this place existed. Then I recently needed a spot for a weekday breakfast in the area, and this location popped up on the map. Iced flat white with oat milk was perfect, as was the mushroom toast... like actually so delicious. Side of fruit was also good. Definitely recommended as one of the best options around here!

We had a wonderful time. I actually found this place on Google map. I was looking for our hotel and what was near our area and this populated so I saved it in the in my Google maps. The location is right around the corner from our hotel. The staff see us immediately and we were there for happy hours so two of my friends got some happy hour drinks. One ordered a pasta dish, I ordered a steak and fries, & I can't remember what my friend ate but we enjoyed our meal. Our server was friendly. The ambience is really nice. If you're older, make sure you bring your phone to use as an extra light because the lighting is very low lit. The cool part about this place is that they have a QR code on the table and all you have to do is scan it and pay on your phone. If you are in the area. Go to this place. It's felt like local eat here and the prices are reasonable for the portions that you get. One of our friend that join us is from NY and she really enjoyed this place.

Came during a weekday lunch for a table of two. Ordered the cacio e Pepe burger and the OG cheeseburger to share. The OG burger was much better than the cacio e Pepe one where I found it was a little bit on the saltier side. Service was good, the restaurant was half full at the time we were there (around 1pm). Definitely a cute and clean spot, good for brunch!

The food is so flavorful and the atmosphere was great had good music playing but not over powering the room so much you could still hear conversations. The decor was so warm and comfy with lights dimmed. The food was amazing with a touch of Dominican flavorful that mixed with traditional American dishes. We had a great time and will enjoy going back again. There are other locations but this one is in a nook of the street gives you enough privacy an less traffic. I enjoyed

This was such a great brunch spot. They have a lot of great options and are vegetarian friendly. Atmosphere: the vibe feels very Brooklyn. It's a combination of casual/relaxed and well decorated. It's a great place to grab brunch with friends. Service: everyone was very friendly and helpful. They gave us recommendations based on our preferences and were patient when we were a bit indecisive Food: they gave a lot of great savory and sweat brunch options. We got the stuffed cheesecake waffles and they were amazing. I was concerned they'd be too sweet but they were perfect and all the fruit tasted very fresh. We also got the kimchi scramble - it's such a unique item. My friends said it was a little on the spicy side but tasted really good. We also got the wild mushroom toast - the mushrooms were nicely grilled. The toast was a little tougher than we would expect. I also got the HITW bowl. It was as expected and very good portion size. The sambal emulsion was nice and spicy and it added the right flavor to the bowl. The bowl had a bit more quinoa than veggies so I do wish it was a little more balanced. Price: the prices were reasonable especially considering portion sizes.

I'd actually passed by this place multiple times but had no idea it was a cafe. This shop itself is more of a grab-and-go, but it might still take a while since all drinks are whisked and made to order. There isn't really space for a line to form inside, so you may need to wait outside to order (there's also a bit of a lack of room to wait for your drink once it's ordered). My strawberry matcha came out to $9.25 total, which is pretty pricey, so I expected a lot. In total, it took me around 10-ish minutes to get my drink with about 4 people in front of me. At first it took a while for our orders to get taken since the two employees were focused on getting drinks out ASAP, one person was preparing the syrups and milk, and the other was making the matcha. The matcha itself had a nice green color. I've had many strawberry matchas prior to this, and based on my experience, this place was alright. The strawberry syrup was nice and not too sweet, but I wish there was a bit more flavoring or more of it, as after two sips I couldn't taste the strawberry at all. Overall, it's a nice shop with cute trinkets around and their own products they sell, like matchas and tea sets. However, for $9, it was a lot for what the drink offered in my opinion.

And I commonly see the upstairs for private events like baby showers, bridal showers, or birthday parties on social media. After dinner with my friends, I was looking for dessert and I was glad to see this location closes relatively late on a weekday night at 11 pm. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a waiter who led us to one of the purple velvet chair booths that was perfect for two people and another waiter brought us a pitcher of water almost immediately. The menu is on a QR code already on the table and we were given ample of time to decide. My friend and I both already knew what we wanted to order. I got the purple Yam Souffle which takes 25 minutes to make and my friend got the fried squid tails. We also got a signature Rose Green Milk Tea to share. The waitress who took our order has great memory and recalled all of our items without writing it down. She also reminded me that I could adjust the ice and sugar levels of my drink which I had completely forgotten and would have got annoyed if my drink came out 100% sweetness. Another thing is that my drink order frequently comes out wrong at other locations so I was glad she got it right! Green tea instead of black tea and with milk instead of without milk. The purple Yam Souffle is just like the other locations. Hot, soft cakey texture balanced with an ice cold red bean Ice-Cream. So delicious! The squid tails on the other hand was not what we expected. It came out burnt and hard. The outer batter was not crispy either. We informed one of the waiters and he brought it back to inform the kitchen staff. We received a new batch that was not as burnt and had more flavoring this time around. However, the squid was still hard and not like the ones we get from other locations with smaller crispier pieces. Overall, it was still a good experience and I love the decorations at this location! This might be my second favorite location after the Flushing one. Would love to come back for brunch or hi-tea. Or regular food options when I have not already eaten dinner. My usual go-tos are the twister fries, Santa Fe chicken rolls, fried salted crispy chicken, and the trio dessert combo. However, this location has a lot more variety! FYI - there are two unisex restrooms in the rear for customers to use with really cute wallpapers too.

We ordered potted rose milk tea to share, Dubai affogato and Brown Sugar Boba Mille Crêpes Cake. We came on a Friday around 4pm. Originally I wanted to try the strawberry matchamisu, however, was told that it sold out. What a bummer. The rose milk tea came with a themed pot and cups which is really cute. The rose fragrant smelled so good and the milk tea also tasted good and has a hint of rose taste. The cake was good, the boba was well cooked, chewy and flavorful! This time there was an unpleasant experience. At first when the Dubai affogato was served, we did not realize that the amount of the coffee was little until we saw another customer's dish that the volume of their coffee looked significantly more than ours. My friend brought it to the waitress attention but the waitress brushed it off and did not acknowledge our concern. When we finished and were about to leave, the same waitress came over and showed us that the container of the coffee was different and hence the volume of the coffee looked different. At this point, we did not care for it anymore. We would have been fine if the staff acknowledged our concern. We thought that maybe using standardized containers for the coffee would avoid this problem. Other than that, the food and drinks were good.
