We chose to come to HTW on a gorgeous Spring morning. It's Saturday, late morning and there's a line. It moved pretty quickly, the host took my name and she texted me when our table was ready. We were fortunate to be able to sit outside which was a real perfect. The air is cool and we were in the shade. The best part is the experience was the service. Everyone was great but Anthony went out of his way to be helpful. My wife chose a latte with almond milk; me-the usual hot black coffee. She liked her coffee, my coffee was meh. Not bitter but a bit sour, not as fresh as it could have been. My wife chose the, avocado toast with packed eggs, that she liked. Not the best, but, pretty good. My Power Bowl was delicious. It comes with a sambal sauce they they improve in house. OMG, it was about the most delicious sauce I've ever enjoyed. The croissant that I completed my meal was good, not great. Started off with rose sangria (HH - $10) and it was pretty good, not too sweet. This is a very good place for a brunch experience and I can imagine it absolutely popping during the summer time. We were seated in the main dining room and the first thing I noticed is that it was a little chilly in there. In this weather, they should definitely up the heating a little bit. Service was quick and efficient. I'm the type of person who likes to study the menu before showing up and knew exactly what I wanted. I asked for a Matcha latte with almond milk and extra Matcha. The matcha was a little bit on the watery side, and I do wish the waiter had asked me if I would like it sweetened or not. My friend's latte came out foaming and hot with beautiful latte art on it. For my entrée, I went with the mushroom toast. This did not disappoint although I do wish that there was a little bit more seasoning on the mushrooms and that green sauce on the base was delicious and I would've loved to have more of that maybe drizzled on top or just a thicker layer. The avocado I ordered on the side tasted good. My one complaint is that this toast is a pretty big undertaking. You can't really eat it with your hands and so it should definitely come with a knife. We had to flag down a waiter to give us a knife. Overall, this was a good experience. I am down to come back here to try other things on their menu.
