If only all auto shops were like this. Mark, I think the owner, is great. My gf's car broke down last week. After arranging for a tow to another place thru AAA, the tow truck driver actually suggested this place instead. I was very skeptical, thinking he had a deal or something with them. The next day, Mark called to inform me the timing belt snapped and would need replaced. I called around comparing Holiday's cost to several other shops and dealerships and they were low to most of them for the work they were going to perform. After haggling a little on the price and getting the AAA discounts, Mark offered me a loaner car out of the blue. Honestly, without any prompting, he just asks "are you going to need a loaner car for the weekend" I didn't even think this was a possibility and was very impressed. So I figure when we pick up the loaner there would be a bunch of paper work and then a hidden fee or something. Nope!!! We walked into the shop, told the front desk we were here for the loaner, and she just hands us a key and points us in the direction of a 2008 or 2009 red honda civic. I was stunned at the level of service we have received there and they have surely gained 2 loyal customers. Way to go guys!!!!! read more

The first time I went to Holiday Auto Care, they treated me like they've known me for years. Every time I've had a problem, they've been quick, competent, and always go that extra mile to find me the best deal on parts. I'm so lucky to have found Mark and the gang. Holiday Auto Care has been a complete life saver for me. They are kind, honest, prompt, and efficient, and I couldn't recommend them more highly. I used to have an old Camry, and at one point it needed its belts replaced. HAC replaced the belts, and when they needed replacing again later on, HAC informed me that the belts were still under warranty and that I wouldn't have to pay a penny. When the Camry was on its last leg and was having problems starting, I took it in to see if there was anything HAC could do to help. They gave the car a full inspection, filled up the oil (which was empty because it was leaking in several places), and gently told me that it was time to get rid of the car. They only charged me for the cost of the quart of oil (about $4). Recently, I bought a used Jeep, and the day I brought it home it wouldn't start. I waited a few hours, got it to start, and took it to HAC. Mark, the owner, is incredibly kind, helpful, and understanding, and is helping me deal with the dishonest dealership and get my car moving again. Words can't express how grateful I am for Mark. My car had trouble starting and I brought it in to Holiday to get the battery checked since both my neighbor and I thought it was the problem. They took it over night and then informed me it needed a brand new battery, ok no problem. When I pick it up I find out they put a "$150" battery in it, and then charged my $60 for labor. I get home and use google, and wow there are 4 websites on the first page selling the same battery for $120. And I know how to change a battery, it takes about 10 minutes, are you telling me your mechanics are worth $360 an hour? All I wanted was the battery tested and then I could of changed it myself. I figured Id do them a favor and give them some business since I live in the neighborhood. They took advantage and ripped me off by about $100. I hope it was worth it because Im never coming back, and never recommend this place. read more

I have taken my car to Holiday for 10 years. Mark treats me like he would a family member. He makes sure I understand the repairs required, and the consequences of getting or not getting the repair. He gives me good advice, even when it is not in his own financial interest (for example, waiting on a repair, or taking it somewhere else). He even gave me hugs and fatherly words of wisdom when I was upset about letting go of my last car. I really appreciate the way they care about their customers and their cars. I have been having problems with my clutch since day 1 and I had been to several different auto shops before Holiday service and no one was able to pinpoint the actual cause until I took it to Holiday. The best, absolutely. The are honest and do good work for reasonable prices. I even had something covered on my warranty that I didn't know - they looked it up for me and suggested I go to the dealership since it would be free! Just as I was heading over to a used car dealership to haggle on the purchase price of a car for my son, a friend told me that AAA could've negotiated that deal for me (wish I'd been a little more knowledgable of my AAA benefits before that minute!). I called AAA, and they recommended that I at least get the dealer to allow me to take the car in question to one of their approved repair shops to look it over, and Holiday Auto Care was within a few miles. The dealer wasn't thrilled, but I did take the car there. Mark greeted me with a smile and sent the car right into the bay (mind you this all came together with an impromptu call to AAA, who gave Mark a quick heads up that I was headed over- I had no appointment). Within 30 minutes I had a written report on issues about the car that I needed to address with the dealership. One had the potential to cost me a great deal in future repairs, other issues included the need of new wipers, missing locking lug nuts, the need of an oil change and uneven tire pressure. I used this information to negotiate with the dealership what they would fix and what my purchase price would be after they were done. I couldn't have been more grateful to Mark and the technician for arming me with such critical information so that I knew what I was getting into with this used car. I was pleasantly surprised when Mark called me the next day to see how it went. When I told him they agreed to do some repairs prior to finalizing my purchase, he offered to double check their work after I picked it up! You'd better bet I took him up on that offer. When he noticed that some fluids levels were still low, he immediately topped them off, shaking his head and expressing his disappointment that other auto-based businesses didn't seem to hold themselves to the same high standards that he obviously does. (Me, too, Mark!) I couldn't be any more positive and enthusiastic about refering Holiday Auto Care to anyone in need of honest, reliable and extremely helpful and accommodating car repair services! read more

I just had to come on and leave a review about holiday auto care and Mark! I had just bought a car a few months ago and had it break down on the highway. I had never taken a vehicle to Mark's shop before but I remember passing by and I was close so figured it would be the most convenient place to have it towed. Mark and his team looked at it the next day and discovered it had some major issues that needed to be fixed. Not only did Mark get the all of the work done in a timely manner, he called he almost everyday (sometimes more than once) to update me on the progress and also to give me suggestions on how to deal with dealership that I had bought the car from who was refusing to help. I really felt like Mark cared about my situation and I think that is rare to find. I now have my car back and am very happy with the work that was done! I would not hesitate to take my cars to Mark from here on out becuase I know that he will be honest, reasonable and most importantly make me feel like he actually cares about the people that he deals with!
