Hollister always makes me happy. The dim lighting, the beach decor, the yummy smell that they spray on all their clothing, the loud music that you can actually choose from the touch screen, the friendly laud back people that work there. These all seem to be standard everywhere. This Hollister, however, is just better. They have the same clothing selections as other Hollisters, but they keep this store neat. If a pile of clothes gets messed up because of some inconsiderate patron, they rush right over and fix it. They have a wide and easy-to-sort-through selection of discounted womens' shirts. I've never seen this before at a Hollister. Most are in an unfolded, giant pile in the center of the backroom. This was very different, with the discounted items being folded in size/color order on the shelves in the backroom on the girls side, and more on the shelves in the backroom on the guys side. read more

So unorganized. The girls are so rude and have no idea what they are doing. They just keep laughing and messing around. It takes three girls to do an exchange?! I been in line waiting for 20mins and there are 4 or 5 employees working. And three girls are doing one job. Horrible location. And horrible management. read more

I'd just like to take a quick minute and write a review for the store I used to work at: Music is loud, but it's standard across all HCo and A&F stores. Clothes are everywhere, but isn't that what you'd expect from a clothing store? Also, keep in mind the people messing up the store are the customers, that means you and me. Sometimes mannequin clothes are not for sale, most likely because the item ran out. And no the items ON the mannequins are not for sale. You can always order the item online! Yes the employees are young, but that's because the store is targeted towards younger customers. I'm not saying that employees who are slacking off on shift are excused, but expecting world-class pampering and customer service is a little unreasonable. I wouldn't even want that when I'm out shopping..... Also for the customers who claim they were judged for their ethnicity or socioeconomic status while shopping in the store, the only person aware of those characteristics about you is yourself. The employees are probably not purposely ignoring you for those reasons so don't be so quick to assume. read more

So many people in line. Only 2 registers open. I've been here 15 minutes to do a simple even exchange. There's 2 other registers and employees just roaming around occasionally folding something. The line hasn't even budged. Basic management and organizational skills out the door. Learn how to prioritize. If there's 20 people in line, open the other registers. You know it's going to be a busy holiday weekend. Prepare accordingly. At this point, customers are just leaving the line so the store is losing sales. read more

Hollister is one of the brands I support the most but I don't go as often anymore. It can be pretty expensive so they need to up their customer service game more if they want to convince customers to actually make a purchase. I personally don't see that going for them but I still liked making a purchase. They are located in a nice mall area to walk around and do other things, so it's not a chore to go here or anything! read more

I am giving this store a 5 star review for it's return experience. I had to return a large purchase and was quite concerned based on the many negative reviews on returning things. I must say they never said a word and accepted the return without an attitude at all. I very much appreciated that and felt this location deserved a high rating for that. read more

Horrible experience. Great help and 1 cashier. Rule #1: don't make people wait to buy your overpriced product. They will always reconsider. Waited over 15 mins and line didn't move. 1 cashier and over $250 in sales in my arms. Sorry sweet, helpful salesgirl. I gave up patience and threw down and left. Whatever you do, don't order online or give them your email. I have been unable to "unsubscribe" for over 2 years now. First of all, contrary to 99.9% of retailers, there is no "unsubscribe" link in their email marketing material. How is this even legal? After finally reaching someone in customer service I was told I needed to log-in to my account to unsubscribe. Ok...did that. Properly saved and received confirmation that I had "unsubscribed" from all emails. About 4 weeks later, I started receiving emails again. For this reason, I will never order online from them again. I shouldn't have to waste this much of my personal time to just stop annoying daily emails in my inbox. American Eagle....here we come read more

i felt quite COMPELLED to write a review. why? because their customer service today SUCKED. there weren't many people there to begin with....but i was standing in the same spot in line for over 15 minutes to buy one stinkin sweater because the guy in front of me was buying literally 50 shirts (not exaggerating), and then his wife had the nerve to bring in another 50 shirts (this is another issue, but i dont feel it necessary or appropriate to vent my anger about this on yelp). i looked at the manager and cashier to signal to them to do SOMETHING. what's the point of having multiple registers and employees if they ain't gonna be used? i'm not waiting half an hour to buy a stupid sweater. but what did they do? NADA. they glanced over at me, and walked away. so i threw the sweater back to its shelf and left. the other girl waiting in line left as well. never again spectrum hollister. never again... and they had nothing there today. empty shelves, piles of unorganized clothes. but hollister is always like that so whatevs. read more

If I could give this store zero starts I would. I went in today with my sister because there was a sale. We were walking around and I saw some cute shirts folded so I got my size, but couldn't look at anymore because the girl that worked there decided to just lay a stack of clothes on top of the shirts I was looking at. Cool thanks. Then when my sister and I went to the changing rooms, nobody came to helps us, a group of about 5 employes were chatting behind the register which was right by the fitting rooms so they obviously saw we were waiting for them. Then I finally asked if we could have a fitting room and the girl who came to help us didn't say a word to me... Opened the door, and have me a dirty look before she told my sister she had to wait for another room. I also didn't like the fact that we had to lay our clothes on the floor because there are no chairs or benches in the rooms and only one hook. This store needs better employees with better customer service. I will not come back to this location ever again. read more

There were the cutest clothes on the manequins. I asked where they were and was told they did not carry them because it was a smaller store. Really?? put clothes on display but don't sell them? I wandered around in the dark (they have the worst lighting) and had an arm load of clothes. Passed and talked to several employees and no one offered to take load of clothes off my hands. At dressing room was asked how many I had. Couldn't count them there was no where to set the pile down. Dressring room had one small hook and no seat. All clothes had to be dropped on the floor. Oh and the room was full of cothes she tried to put me in. I had to tell her they were there. Music was blaring, couldn't talk to my girlfriend. Couldn't tell what colors were white/ivory. Wanted to buy several things but was so frustrated just dropped them on a chair and left. read more

The employees at this store are not helpful at all whatsoever. Every time I walk into this store all I see many employees but never once do they ask if i need help finding anything. Yesterday I walked into the store and asked a young girl who had shorter brown hair and was Asian if she could help me find a certain flannel that I was buying for my younger sister. She seemed irritated that I interrupted her while she was screwing around and snapchatting herself and her coworkers. Instead of walking me to where the item was she just points and says "it's over their I guess." Damn, I wish I got paid to fool around and snapchat while I was at work. read more

HORRIBLE!!! This is not from just one experience, every time I go the cashiers have an attitude or they overcharge me. Very dirty store. Clothes on floor and dust everywhere. Dressing room is always dirty and no one is every there to open the locked doors. One experience was on Black Friday. I get Black Friday is busy, however there were only 2 cashiers open out of the many that were closed and cashiers were taking their sweet old time. I get you want to interact with the customers , however do so in a timely manner. The line was out the door. In addition, they overcharged me for a shirt. However once I told the lady that rang me up, she told me to go back in the line. I was not going to go back in the very long line and waste my time for a mistake the Hollister worker made. Not to mention, the worker was very rude when ringing up the merchandise. So I decided to go back another day to get a refund. And when I did I wanted to speak with the manager. So I did. And when I did, I told the manager about the situation that happened on Black Friday and he did not say sorry. He said there was nothing he can do and that he didn't know the full story since he was not there at the time. So in all, he told me that I was lying about the situation. He did not know how to handle the situation. And the thing is I like Hollister's clothes. However, with all this I will not shop at the Hollister at the Irvine Spectrum. Hope they can learn from this and not do the same thing with other customers. Hope this helps. read more
