I called for rental information for a nice pool table for an official super bowl event here in LA. The lady who answered said Hello like she was answering her personal phone. After I told her what I wanted. She said how many days? I said 1. She said our rentals are too expensive for 1 day and then she hung up in my face. I called back to give her the benefit of the doubt and also sent a text message and still no response. SO RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL! Within 24 hours notice they were able to disassemble, pick it up and deliver it to our home and re-assemble! Playing pool already! I wouldn't even give Hollywood Billiards one star if I didn't have to. BEWARE of this business. I ordered a 7,000 pool table and PAID IN FULL!! I waited months and never heard from them. When I reached out they said their prices went up, YES AFTER I PAID AND PLACED MY ORDER AND WAITED MONTHS!! Finally she convinced me to pay around 400.00 more (I still do not know why I paid other than I waited so. long I wanted my table!) Then weeks later she said my table came in but was damaged and asked if I wanted a cheaper uglier one. I said no I will continue to wait. Well, then I got another changed invoice, again, I HAVE ALREADY PAID IN FULL, saying if I wanted it delivered I would have to pay 800.00 more!! WHAT?? She would not talk on the phone with me, only text. When I showed her the original invoice of my payment of 495.00 for white glove delivery she got irate with me and was very nasty. This business is a scam. They take your money and then make you wait and then keep trying to get more money out of you when you have waited so long you are desperate. I had already paid 495.00 for white glove delivery but they told me if I wanted it delivered I'd have to pay $800 more. That was it for me! She was so rude and unprofessional. Lot of Lip Service here. Some tables are imitation look a likes from China. Some are not. Chances are you will be disappointed if doing business with HB. Most of the good reviews are just excitement because someone got a new pool table. She showed me several new pool tables which I really liked and one that they had recently received that was used. After some discussion I chose are used pool table because it was almost perfect and the price difference was a factor in my decision. She was so nice during all of our discussions about the different tables and pricing it took a lot to put up with all my questions and she answered all of them. Horrible, horrible customer service. I spoke with someone on the phone last night and got a quote verbally. I said I would get back to them the next morning to confirm. I sent a text this morning saying we are going to hold off on moving, their response was, "That's not nice", and "You make us lost Job". I said, "huh", and then called them. They proceeded to hang up on me, and then send me to voicemail 2 times. I have no clue if they are good or bad at what they do, but they left such a bad taste in my mouth that there is NO way I would use them in a few weeks when we move forward. SO RUDE! read more

I have called this company multiple times to get prices on a pool table, and whoever answers the phone is incredibly rude. They act like they were doing me a favor by answering the phone and seemed to become aggravated when I asked what brand pool tables they sell. My husband and I called Hollywood Billiards after hours on July 3rd. To our surprise Marisol answered and we talked for half an hour. She answered all of our questions and said if we were interested she would meet us at their showroom the next day ( which was the 4th of July and they were actually closed.) We must have been there for at least an hour and a half as Marisol showed us all the different tables, sizes, quality, felt colors, etc. Needless to say, we ordered a pool table that day. Best deals and very good service. If you are looking for a quality pool table at a very affordable price, this is the place to go. I shopped every store in the DFW metroplex, went on every website I could find and Hollywood Billiards had hands down the best pricing on tables. In addition to having the best prices, they also have great service and are very quick. I had a tight 1 week timeline to get my pool table installed before Thanksgiving and even the local pool table companies that had tables in stock in thier warehouses told me it would take them 2+ weeks to get a table installed. Marisol was able to coordinate with a local installer, Rene with Billiards Tech, and they were able to get the table installed before the holidays. During the whole process, Marisol was great about giving status updates and she was very prompt in responding to all of my questions via text and email.
