Stopped by here after picking up some groceries at a nearby 99 Ranch. This place replaced the R&B Tea shop that was here not too long ago. Interior is clean and modern, chic. A lot of people working at their tables, my husband got our drinks to go, but not sure there was any open seating from what I could see. I'd recommend coming early if you wanted to grab a seat and stay here for a bit. We got a holos latte and short cream latte. I thought both drinks were fine. There was a light bitterness to both that I've never quite liked in coffees I get that some shops managed to eliminate. It wasn't an overwhelming bitterness and I could taste the coffee, but I didn't think it wasn't anything particularly interesting flavor profile wise. Just both solid drinks. I did like the house-made cream in the short creme latte, it was thick and creamy and slightly sweet. The pricing if fair for the quality and quantity, and I'd like to come back to try their pastries next time! Their matcha pistachio croissant looks delicious. Plenty of parking, can't imagine it getting filled where you wouldn't be able to find a spot.

HOLOS LATTE. . the earl grey + honey + espresso balance is just perfect.. Sad we don't have anything like it in the Bay, but now we'll always have something to look forward to the next time we find ourselves in socal. Plenty of indoor seating, and seems like a great place to get work/studying done. Good service, friendly staff, and chill atmosphere.

Got an iced latte and was very happy with it! I can't wait to be back in Artesia to get it again! I like that they have stickers for sale, too! I like their logo, it's very nice. Parking is super easy since it's in a plaza with tons of parking spots. Ambiance is pretty cool. I'd recommend checking it out!

This coffee shop was the first place to introduce me to Short Cream Latte, and now I am obsessed. This latte comes as iced only and a 12 oz cup. You can order it as dine-in, which they will put the drink in a pretty glass cup, or as to-go, which will be your standard plastic cup. What makes latte stand out is their cream! It's so creamy, fluffy like a cloud, and the right amount of sweetness. I came on a Sunday afternoon, and it was very crowded - with lots of people working on their laptops. There's a communal table, several tables, and another communal table along the window sill. I'm definitely coming back for their Short Cream Latte, and I want to try their seasonal drinks next time!

Came on a Saturday afternoon and the line was out the door, but I will say the service was very fast and efficient, which I appreciated. I had been recommended the Cookie Butter Latte, so I was excited to finally try it. I ordered both the Holos Latte and the Cookie Butter Latte with oat milk. Unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed with both. First, I'm not a fan of their oat milk. It tasted very thin and had a slight aftertaste that threw off the drinks. Neither latte was overly sweet, but the overall flavors were very light and faint. The Holos Latte wasn't creamy and lacked depth. The Cookie Butter Latte was slightly better, but the Biscoff flavor was still subtle and didn't stand out the way I expected. Overall, the Holos Latte was a no for me and the Cookie Butter Latte was just okay. If you prefer lighter, more subtle flavors, this might be your spot. I personally wouldn't return, but I can appreciate the quick and efficient service despite how busy they were.

Located in a plaza , plenty of parking but it does get extremely busy and packed ! The matcha here was top tier , one of my top 5 matchas I have had ! They also carry baked goods from local Long Beach restaurants and bakery Nonna Mercato ! Everyone here is nice , has seats and tables available that were all occupied , def can get busy in there !

First of all, service is quick and everyone that works there is nice. Blueberry matcha was good, you can't adjust the sweetness too much because the blueberry and matcha are combined together i believe. My bf loved his vanilla caramel iced latte, he got it decaf and it was the most smoothest tasting coffee I've ever tasted. Chocolate croissant was nice and warm and soft with flaky edges, it was delicious. There's seating inside but it's very limited because a lot of people come here to study or do work but my bf and i got lucky that two people were leaving. It was quiet inside but they had good music playing but it wasn't too loud, it was like the perfect volume. Great cafe! Also plenty of parking which is alwaysssss a big plus because i hate searching for parking lol.

Heard about this place on instagram and couldn't wait to give it a try. So lucky I am not to far away. Wow even tho it's raining today the line was out the door. The cashier was very nice, very polite no rush. Ambience was really busy....no tables available but it's ok we were not planning to stay. Coffee was good. Glad we came in.

Holos is an absolute treat! i've been here a handful of times and every single time has been consistent as well as delicious! Holos has a great vibe overall with perfect coffeehouse, music and the space to work or grab a coffee with a friend. I've tried their specialty lattes, matcha, short cream late, hojicha and much more but my personal favorite will always be the short cream latte. This is one of Holos specialties and you don't see it at any other locations. It is a wonderful creamy espresso based drink that is delectable from start to beginning.

This coffee shop was sooo good! We tried the Holos latte (hot) , Cookie butter latte, Orange mocha latte and the Matcha latte cold. Wow, they were all delicious! So creamy and flavorful! They have an assortment of baked goods, so we tried the Match pistachio croissant and Kouign Amann. They were flakey and soft. I would definitely get these again! The cafe had a good amount of tables and seating, but the place is always packed, so you might have to wait a little. The staff were very nice and helpful, attentive, and offered good recommendations. Service was fast.m and efficient. The cafe is more on the modern simple look. If there is a line, Wait! It's worth it! Happy Nom Nom!

This is a wonderful non-chain coffee shop. I usually order a flavored latte and the drink is made consistently well every time. I always come here if I want a good coffee and not be disappointed. I've also tried the Bacon and Chive Croissant and it is excellent. If you are in the area and want good coffee that isn't a chain coffee shop, come here. The coffee shop is located in a plaza next to great food options too such as Nillys Burgers and Bunker 21. You can easily get your food and coffee fix all in one place. read more

Service is great. No lines really and short wait for drinks. The atmosphere is nice and calm. Not dead silent but not too noisy, for people who want to study there. Little water dispenser for you to use while waiting for drinks. Can help yourself to the trays if you have lots of drinks and napkins if you need so you dont need to wait on them to give to you. The Holo special was really good, light but not too much and balanced in terms of the sweetness and still being a good coffee. First time here, definitely not my last time coming! Holos Coffee just opened today and a couple of friends and I came to check it out + support our friend. The interior was really nice and spacious and a perfect place to hang out with friends or study/get work done. We got there a little before noon and there were quite a few people there - not sure if it's because of the time or because it just opened but it's clear that this will be a hot spot for young people. First off, the cashier was really nice and welcoming when we came to take our orders. For my friends, he took the time to go over the non-caffeinated options in depth and it was clear that he knew his stuff. I got the peach black tea for myself, and, because it was BOGO today, I also got a matcha latte for my sister. The cashier was also really nice about my request for no ice in the matcha latte (because my sister isn't going to be getting it until much later) - although he did mention that the cup will look a little empty. But the peach black tea: oh my goodness, this BLEW MY MIND. It was so refreshing and perfectly balanced. It was not too sweet and just the right amount of black tea. Normally black tea is known to have a strong taste but here there was a perfect balance of peach flavor and black tea flavor. Also the little garnish gave it a nice aesthetic touch to the drink. I also had a sip of my friend's Holos latte (earl grey + honey + oat milk + espresso) - which they made decaf - and that was also really good. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this cafe - everything from customer service to cleanliness and, of course, the drinks which are top notch! Parking lot is spacious and the cafe has a good amount of seating (but this place is popping and can get a little crowded). I tried the Holos Latte, which has a blend of earl grey and oat milk, and I would recommend this drink 5/5 (they also have it available as decaf as an option)! Still haven't tried their other drinks but I believe all of them will be good too~ read more

"Holos Latte is a must-try." I must say, this drink blew my mind away. I've been looking far and wide for a cafe nearby my home that serves a particular earl grey latte. And man, oh man. Holos Latte does it for me. This drink is their house specialty and is a must-try! It's a unique blend of earl grey, oat milk, honey, and an espresso shot, that blends so well as you sip the smooth concoction for your sweet caffeine cravings. What a moment it was, as my taste buds were bedazzled upon the first sip. I've been here three times thus far, and the most noteworthy items to order for me are: 1. Holos Latte - a great post-meal option or even a timely pick-me-up for mid-afternoons 2. Pineapple Lemonade - a perfect dessert drink after a heavy meal for me. 3. Iced Americano As for the pastries, do try the Matcha Pistachio. It is absolutely delicious. There's a reason why it's always sold out :') Every time I visited this cute cafe, I was greeted with warmth. Upon entry, the owner or the barista (Daniel, a beanie-wearing man) greets me with a warm smile. Their hospitality is always superb, with all the workers being incredibly welcoming. If you ask, they'll explain their drinks well, so don't be afraid to ask! Random plus, but I do believe this is worth mentioning. The chair selection at Holos is superb. There are various types of chairs, two of which are great for back support for the studious cafe goer (Located on the right side of the cafe and at the middle table). What a great way to promote wholeness by providing quality chairs to focus and work comfortably! TLDR: Come and find wholeness at Holos as you sip away on the Holos Latte while sitting in a comfortable chair on the right side of the cafe. read more

Not sure what I was expecting, but was blown away by their signature drink- the Holos latte. It was probably the most unique drink I've had in a while & all the flavors (early grey, espresso) could all be appreciated without one dominating the drink! They have a ton of seating, but I came on a weekday afternoon and almost all the tables inside were occupied by folks doing work/ studying. They also have pastries & a parking lot out front! Will definitely stop by in the future if I'm in the area to try out their other drinks. read more

super cute inside,, good study spot. matcha latte: 5/5 i don't know how to describe it but it's a lot lighter than other matcha lattes i've had. (not in a watery way) so good,, i think the matcha originates in korea so that's why it tastes slightly different than japanese matcha. would 1000% recommend. holos latte: 4.5/5 latte smells like earl gray right when you open the lid. interesting combination,, but it works & if you love earl gray i would def give it a try iced americano: 3/5 not a fan of americanos (i typically like my coffees sweeter) but this one was not bad at all. it didn't have a bitter aftertaste like americanos typically have. read more

Another good coffee shop that I would recommend to anyone looking for good and aesthetically pleasing coffee. We ordered the short cream latte and iced matcha. Loved the short cream latte and the matcha was good as well but homeboy coffee takes our vote when it comes to a good iced matcha. If you're looking to study here then you better arrive early. We got there around 12:30 and it was packed with people. read more

Best hojicha latte I've had by far! If you like smoking tiger's hojicha latte, you'll love this one. Also got a passion fruit pastry and it's delicious. Not too sweet, perfect tanginess and a good amount of crispiness. Love the aesthetic and vibes, but will say that it is a little cramped inside especially when it gets busy. read more

My wife and I patiently waited for 30 minutes for two drinks. We saw what looked like our drinks to be ready so we headed to the counter, but one of the male workers took the drinks to a table to people who were clearly his friends outside of work. I can tell by the way they were talking to each other that he knew them. We asked when our drinks would be ready, but sure enough our receipt was already in the Completed pile. We asked for a refund and wasn't offered any apology or anything. Will never come back here. read more

This is perhaps my favorite coffee shop in the world rn. The baristas are so welcoming, the interior is gorgeous, and the coffee???? Are you kidding? It doesn't get any better than this. My new favorite cafe! My cousin and I enjoyed every drop of the Holos latte and soft cream latte. The lattes are just perfect blends. It cannot get any better. Please don't ever change. Don't plan on staying because there are a lot of young study groups which is totally fine with me since I like to take my coffee to-go. Ordered and went out the door within 10-15 minutes. read more

This may just be my new favorite coffee spot. I've come in twice, once right as they opened and once during the middle of the day. The coffee is amazing and strong. I've also had their sencha green tea which was fantastic. Service in the mornings is a little better than the afternoon, but mostly because they aren't as busy. Absolute trash. Drinks are mid, food is overpriced, and beware of the snobby, egotistical, rude and racist Korean male worker. My friend and I have been coming here everyday for the past week to study for finals. Didn't choose this spot for the food/drinks, but rather the convenience for the both of us. Plenty of college students here studying and ppl meeting up for coffee chats. As college students ourselves, it's impossible to afford a $7 croissant or drink everyday. However, we've still ordered a food/drink every other time we visited. First time I came here I got my food and had nowhere to sit bc it was so busy. I noticed there was a table of 4 and none of them had ordered anything, just chatting and occupying space. I had to take my waste of money breakfast and leave. But when I came here today w my friend, we had already eaten lunch and decided to study after. I guess it was peak hour bc we had went to another cafe before and it was full, so we took a seat in between 2 other ppl at the large table in the middle. We sat there studying for 30mins when the worker came up to us and said we needed to leave and make space for the customers. Of course he had no shame in approaching the only 2 non-Koreans in there and said it LOUDLY w his snarky remarks. He told us that it's a daily reoccurrence we use their space and don't support their small business. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST. First time here and it will not be my last. Holos Coffee is a cozy, bright little café in Artesia that was buzzing the entire time we were there. Lots of people coming in to study and work which tells you everything about the kind of vibe this place has. We ordered three drinks and two out of three were absolute winners. The Grapefruit-Ade was fabulous. On its own the grapefruit flavor is already great, but once you mix in the yogurt cream top it completely transforms the drink. It adds this full bodied, creamy element that elevates the whole thing. Really, really good. The Short Cream Latte was also a standout. Rich but in the best way, perfectly balanced, not too sweet, and the coffee flavor really shines through. The house-made sweet cream ties everything together beautifully. This one is a must order. The Matcha Tonic was the one miss for us, only because it wasn't quite what we were expecting. Not bad, just not our vibe for a matcha tonic. The other two drinks more than made up for it though. They also have gelato which we didn't try this visit but definitely caught our eye for next time. Ambiance: I can see myself spending hours at Holos getting work done or hanging out with friends. Holos' spacious, modern, clean, and relaxed vibe is highly inviting. Drink: Holos' Espresso Con Panna reminds me of espressos I had during my backpacking trip to Europe. A gorgeous quality cup of espresso leaves a clean, lasting aroma of bitterness and acidity which is well balanced with the house-made sweet cream topping. I would drink a cup every morning if I can. :) Service: Very friendly staff. I can't complain! read more

My new favorite cafe :-) The drinks were excellent especially the holos latte! My friends also really enjoyed the pineapple drink, matcha latte, and sweet cream latte. They also had various pastries that were very good. We tried the everything croissant, morning bun, and others which were also very delicious. Service was excellent! The inside was also very pretty. Beautiful furniture. Highly recommend!! read more

This place reminded me of the time I went to London internationally first time I ever flew in a plane with my wife. The latte was beautiful, crafted and amazing. It tasted like the day we went to Parkplace from London, and we got out. I absolutely love this place, their coffee is always so consistent and they know how to make espresso that's not bitter or sour and has body. I love the interior of this place as well, very clean and welcoming and the service is always great. Great cafe! I've been here quite a few times and every drink I've had is great. Their sweets are also nice. They have big windows to let in natural sunlight and the interior modern, woodsy design is also pretty. My one complaint is that it's always very crowded, making relaxing seating a bit hard to find, but it's nice to see the business doing well. Highly recommend! read more

We tried their matcha latte since we prefer matcha over coffee, but Im sure their coffee is amazing since its their specialty. We love our matcha 9.5/10!! we got it with oat and love it It was sweetened but just enough, so you can still taste the matcha! One of the few places that we actually enjoy! read more

Best new coffee shop in OC! The vibes are immaculate and the drinks are spectacular! Workers are so kind and the seating is so suitable for working or just hanging out with friends. Decent croissants (a bit hard) and the Holos Latte was pretty good. Not too sweet. The ambiance is standard modern decor but pretty quiet and has about 6 tables to sit and work. Service was good and friendly! Would come again to grab a latte and work. read more
