My partner went in and ordered food to go, asked for the bbq sandwich with slaw and pickles on it as shown on their website and didn't receive it so he went back in to ask for it, the girl at the front (didn't catch her name) had a sh*t attitude when he asked for the pickles and slaw, so we bought it because the manager/owner didn't ring it up. His reason was "that picture was from a previous restaurant and he wished they still made cabbage slaw". They have brussel sprout slaw. Truthfully the pork was dry, the sides were good. I just feel like either way the sandwich should have been originally rang up with slaw and pickles regardless the type of slaw and all of it would have been avoided. And having an employee quick to have an attitude instead of listening to understand and resolve the issue is piss poor on managements part. read more

I will start with the positive, the beef sausage was pretty good. Everything else was not! Starting with the worst, the place is dirty. The bathrooms are disgustingly dirty. The restaurant is not kept tidy. One of the tables is covered in junk including an old printer and books and papers. If they get busy that's a table they have taken out of service. Next downside is the service the husband and wife who run this place are grouchy. The man was extremely rude to a woman coming in to pick up an order and scolded her for asking him when he was cutting meat. A little common courtesy and politeness would go a long way. The wife owner scolded our kids for making noise. Lastly the food other than the sausage was not good. The brisket was super fatty and I assume was sitting for a while because it had a oozy glaze of cooled fat on the outside it almost looked like scales it was gross and I love bbq but I couldn't eat the brisket. read more

After 2 horrible meals with high prices, we yelped & tried Holy Sm-oaks on Main St. This is a BBQ place run by a young couple. We had ribs & brisket. The brisket was melt-in-your-mouth delicious as were the meaty ribs. The servings were generous & the sides were also big & yummy. We have BBQ back home quite a bit but this was much better. Visted this establishment for a last minute dinner and it smelled amazing outside. We didn't get a greeting of any sort nor a smile. We looked up at the screen you see once through the front door and immediately heard, "That's not the menu! It's for catering."*long pause* "The menu is up here." We took that to mean towards the back of the restaurant where she was standing and made our way towards her. She made a gesture towards the menus on the counter and then just stood there looking at me. We immediately felt unwelcome and when asking questions about getting the meat on the side of the mac n cheese, she made us feel even more unwelcome and gave short clipped answers. Honestly, she looked annoyed that we were even there. Not once did we get a smile or any indication that our business was wanted. We quickly ordered and left and my older daughter quickly commented on the lack of friendliness and I agreed. I am very disappointed with the service we "received" as I have tried their brisket sandwich from the food truck and the gentleman there was friendly and informative. My 10 year old was unimpressed with the mac n cheese and said she'll stick to the Kraft in a box. I tried the pulled pork mac n cheese and found the PULLED PORK IS DELICIOUS, TENDER AND FLAVORFUL The mac n cheese, not so much.
