I've been going to this location since their opening day and they are consistently amazing. Their clam pie is definitely a treat and great for when you have something a little out of the ordinary. The cheese pie is probably the best in Austin. Our server was efficient and attentive. I love that they bring pizza dough for the kids to play. Service is amazing! It's always really busy so be mindful that it may take a while. I've gone here on multiple occasions and it's my favorite pizza place. The crust is thin and airy, there's the perfect ratio between cheese and sauce, the slices are huge, and the pizza is reasonably priced. Perfect date or hangout spot. The restaurant looks really nice and the lighting and decor is really cozy, moreover the restrooms are extremely nice and clean. I ordered a large pizza for takeout on their website. The site was very easy to use and allowed me to order different toppings for each half of the pizza. During covid it seems they only do takeout. The pickup process was seamless and they bring the pizza directly to your car. It took about 30 minutes from the time I ordered for the pizza to be ready. Because of all this I'm rating them a 4. For the pizza itself, it was a little underwhelming for the price. While it was good, it doesn't make me feel like I need to come back for more - especially at this price. read more

Always a favorite, we're back at it again for some delicious single slices and an authentic Mexican coke! We went at the perfect hour of 4:30 barely missing the supper rush and was able to get a parking spot which at this location is super rare. Make sure to bring your patience when it comes to parking and with an appetite cause it's definitely worth the walk/traffic jam in the lot. I watched as the food service workers manhandled pizza going into the oven with their bare hands. The pizza came out and they plated the finished slices with their bare hands. I saw one worker move cheese that was coming off the plate back on. Then, he threw on basil with his bare hands on a margarita slice. I don't think it's allowed. Fast food workers wear gloves because they're generally touching the final product and so was this guy. So, put on some freaking gloves! Won't ever be back. A fair approximation of a New York style of pizza... coming from someone who hasn't been to NYC! XD However, Home Slice Pizza seemed well loved in Austin, so it was a must visit. This particular location is a lot bigger than the SoCo outpost and seems to have a more functional food menu with cocktails and alcohol to boot. You can order a sit-down dinner inside, but the window just outside the entrance seemed like a quick, clear-cut way for getting our hands on a slice of pizza. Keep in mind, only outdoor seating is available to you. It was a chilly evening, but bearable, otherwise they have no heat lamps at the tables directly outside this window. The chalk board next to the ordering window displayed the slices available to order. It was nice knowing that you wouldn't have to order a whole pie. Each slice at $4-4.25 seemed suspect, but a NY-style pizza doesn't joke around as a single slice is essentially two slices of a normal-sized pizza. The crust was thin and powdery, but somehow still possessed such a resounding crunch. The toppings were GLORIOUS. The *White Pie With Spinach* is essentially ricotta cheese which is just about the freshest and creamiest cheese you could eat. We also had a *Meatball with Onion*. They really do not skimp on the meat and give you so many little big morsels of meatballs with your slice. You really only need one slice and a beer and you're golden. I'll be craving this everyday. Meatball sub for my boyfriend was also a hit, although he agreed the Italian was the real star. But lots of great flavors there too. If a group is not there, then just move to the next so no lost revenue. For a family with kiddos, it's tough to wait an hour for a table. It's Mother's Day so I took my daughter to Home Slice Pizza today. She is a mommy to Bruno her 3 year old puppy. I had a 2 slices of pepperoni pizza, one regular and one Sicilian. The Sicilian is thick and square. I enjoyed both, but I actually liked the Sicilian one more. I had a Brooklyn Lager with it. The food was delicious thus the 5 above. Our server was Lucy and she was training Maddie. Lucy had very nice energy and was a good server. I hope you get her when you go. The place was clean and organized well. The only downside to Home Slice is there parking. It is limited. I got lucky though and got one of the last spots. We tried Home Slice Pizza on our quest to find a white pizza as good as the one served at Pappa V's in Lubbock (if you know, you know). While we didn't find what we were looking for, we did enjoy their pepperoni pizza--it was above average, and we'll definitely order it again. As for the white pizza, it wasn't quite what we had in mind. The globs of ricotta made it feel more like lasagna on pizza than the light, cheesy experience we were hoping for.
