    Just came across the owner's response to my message and he's a filthy liar. Came to my house and disconnected everything, saying he would be back the next day with the equipment/ supplies he needed. The rush on my end was because my son was coming home from six months in the hospital for a bone marrows transplant and I wanted to make sure we had good internet for his PS5. This guy never comes back, never returns a call and gives me zero explanation- leaving us hanging with no tv or internet. I told him about the situation with my son so he was very well aware. Terrible lack of communication and totally unprofessional.

    My wifi mesh network was obsolete, I had the original Google WiFi from many years ago. It was prime day and I was seeing all these deals for new systems so I got on YouTube to see some reviews and I came across some Home Tech Expert videos, very knowledgeable and for some reason I trusted what he was saying, it is weird it felt comfortable. I saw that he was local in the next city over actually but he only serviced Orange County but I decided to take a chance and contacted him, even though he said he only does Orange County he took a chance and came out for an estimate. Came on a Sunday, I explained to him my situation and what I wanted and he knew exactly how to do it. Got me the estimate that Thursday and came back out the following Sunday and did the job. I had my wireless setup moved upstairs to a closet, switched out my old Google wifi mesh with the new eero pro 7, he hardwired an access point downstairs and he put another access point in my attic to feed my security camera systems. My speed and coverage are now amazing. If I did not already have a camera systems I would have had him set me up with a Ring system, he is very on point with that brand of that is what you are looking for. In any event thank you Will, you took a chance on my job and everyone is happy.

    Wow! Will is a true home technology expert! He set up our new TV so quickly and professionally. We are never going to use a handyman to do anything technical in our home ever again! He went above and beyond to set up our Apple TV and showed us all the tricks it could do - mind blowing!! Will is very knowledgeable and friendly. We're definitely going to have our internet boosters and our alarm system set up by him and his team.

    Still waiting on our refund. Unfortunately it looks like we'll have to go to court to get our refund. This is the outcome I wasn't hoping for. Both Will and I are busy people we could avoid this mess, If He was a Man of his word and gave us our money back. Instead, He has reverted to being a thief and liar. What makes me more sad is to see a business like his end up like this. I love supporting small businesses and the fact that he's been around for so long is a testament to what he has been able to accomplish. His business name is on the line and he could salvage them if He just did what was right.

    Wil did an amazing job on my wall. Explained everything clearly, and mounted my Sonos Arc and hid all the wires. He took his time to make sure everything was lined up and level, and is extremely knowledgeable in all things tech within your home. If you're looking for top quality work that everyone will continue to admire, I highly suggest going to Home Technology Experts.

But my dumb, kind heart hobbled into the other room and got him a water. There are 4 places close to me where he could have bought himself some water. Then he wanted to check my credit score. That is none of his business. I didn't want the System right away. I like to think about what I am buying first. Then he leaves my latch on my gate up. I have dogs. He wanted water but couldn't take the time to close the gate latch. I've been reading online that they charge different amounts bc whatever they can get from a person is their money.

A tech came out today to install a new camera and hours later when I armed away my house, they called me asking about a fire alarm going off on my house. My app never notified me about a fire alarm. I canceled the alarm from Vivnt but the fire dept still showed up. I don't even have smoke /CO sensors with Vivnt. If anyone fines a better house system (NOT ADT, they suck too) LMK and I'll leave Vivnt in a heart beat.

The panels were damaging my roof so I insisted that they remove the panels from my house. And I insisted my contract become void which they did. That was hell to deal with on its own. The company came to remove my panels, but they also had to replace my roof because the panels destroyed my roof. Fast forward three years 2020. Today I am trying to refinance my home to get a lower interest rate and I find out I have a lien against my house because of those solar panels. There's no way of contacting anybody. Managers are not available, the people that work there have no access to my account, whatever you do do not get solar panels from VIVINT SOLAR. My refinance is on hold because of VIVINT

I have done door to door sales and it is very tough job. What has me give a poor rating is two things. 1: the man who came into my home. One question I asked was, "If I were to cancel my order what would be the fee's incurred?" That question did not sit well with C and he kept repeating, but why would you want to pay more. It shouldn't matter to him or affect him personally what I want to do in the future of my OWN home. I never received an answer to that question, he pretty much avoided it. The next day he did apologize as he did not "realize" that was important to me, he did tell me he did not know the answer to that question. My husband has done research and does not like the reviews all over the US for this company. Some cities are worse than others regarding a disconnect between the billing and installation team. I advise C my husband and I would not like to move forward. I received an email from C which I felt was very poorly written by him as though he took my denial personal. C is a nice person, very personable. He believes in the product he sales and promotes which is great, however not everyone is going to like what you offer, but that is regarding the product and not the person (in most cases).

They ignored me, my intentions and any shred of human decency and consideration. Their inaction prompted Me to ask the attendant to please extricate these inconsiderate a-holes to allow me to proceed. In doing so it turned out the man was a super senior ( in his mid to late 80's ). That was it, hence this review... This company clearly does not train its employees to act decently when driving their branded vehicles and I'd certainly think twice about letting such vermin near a $30,000 plus instillation job at my residence.     Our experience with Vivint, Inc. has devolved into an absolute nightmare, leaving us feeling…read morecompletely held hostage by a company that prioritizes billing over customer service or contractual obligations. We strongly advise anyone considering Vivint to look elsewhere - for your own peace of mind, and your wallet. The issues began on May 19, 2025, when a technician visited our home to simply change the batteries in an upstairs motion detector. As a 50+ year old who experiences dizziness on ladders, I had proactively called Vivint to confirm that this service, including the technician's fees, would be covered by the Maintenance/Protection Plan we have been diligently paying for since March 2021, and again since July 7, 2023. We were assured it would be. Imagine our shock when our next bill arrived a month later, showing that the Protection Plan did not cover the visit. To add insult to injury, the bill included an alleged "upgrade" to our Vivint Security system, for which we were charged over $300.00. This was a complete fabrication; no such upgrade was installed, nor was it ever discussed or authorized. On May 30th, we called again, attempting to resolve this exorbitant and fraudulent charge. During this call, we also informed Vivint that, effective July 1st, we would no longer be residing at the property. We fully expected a straightforward cancellation process. What followed was a relentless and futile battle for resolution. We called the Vivint Loyalty department twice on June 16th, and then the Vivint Cancellation Department on June 20th. Each call was met with unhelpful responses, runarounds, and a complete lack of accountability. To this present date, we are still allegedly being covered by Vivint, even though none of us are living in the household, and the system is no longer functioning. We are being billed for a service we cannot use, at a property we no longer occupy, all while being ignored by every department we attempt to contact. Vivint, Inc. has demonstrated a shocking disregard for their customers, their own service agreements, and basic ethical business practices. We have been trapped in an infuriating cycle since before May 2025, and now more than ever, we feel completely abandoned and unable to receive any assistance. In good conscience, we are not, nor will we ever, recommend Vivint, Inc. to anyone - not to our family, acquaintances, friends, neighbors, or even complete strangers. Save yourself the immense frustration and financial burden; choose a security company that actually values its customers and provides the service it promises.

They extended my contract an extra year without even telling me, just casually expecting me to sign off on it. When I refused (because who wouldn't?), they ended up not even finishing the install -- leaving me with ugly holes in my wall and zero accountability. Apparently, your home is just collateral damage in their rush to hit their quotas. Customer service? Forget it. Transparency? Nonexistent. Special thanks to Rey Zendejas for the stellar experience (note the sarcasm).
