The lady who came to clean didn't speak any English so I couldn't communicate with her. She did a decent job cleaning, but definitely had things she could've improved on. I still paid for the full job and tipped her over 20%. I try to clean on a daily basis, but it's been a little difficult to do deep cleanings after having a baby, working, and going to school full-time. I even cleaned my home before she came because I wanted her to mainly focus on the stove/oven/hood, which I have been overlooking for some time. I did spend an hour cleaning up after, which is beside the whole point of hiring a cleaner... But my issue isn't with the cleaning lady, it's with the owner. When I brought the issue up to her, she completely ignored me, even when I sent her pictures and brought it up twice. I was completely friendly about it and was just expecting a response, not a refund or anything. Again, I did not want to leave a bad review and just wanted to give some feedback, but I feel like the customer service is completely lacking. By the way my cabinets and stove did not have those stains on it before the cleaner came. I think she used the same towel that she used on the stove for my entire counter and cabinets because everything was covered in black and brown specks afterwards. The cleaner took a super short video after the cleaning was completed which is appreciated but it's hard to tell what was cleaned clearly. But when we came back to the apartment later in the day, saw that the stove, refrigerator and floors were generally clean but noticed that majority of the insides of cabinets/drawers were not wiped, many corners/edges along where the floor/walls meet still had a lot of leftover debris/dust, and she forgot to clean the underside of the toilet lid. We told the owner about this and she sent the cleaner to come back and redo some parts of it. But even after she redid the cleaning on those parts, it was marginally better, but there was still some debris and dust left on the edges and corners after she wiped so it felt kind of futile to ask her to redo it a third time at this point since she just didn't seem to have that attention to detail. I ended up just having to clean those parts again myself. In our initial conversation with the owner before booking, they advised they bring all their own equipment for cleaning (including vacuum). But when the cleaner came, she didn't come with a vacuum. Their reasoning was because our apartment is only hardwood floors, but given how there was still dust balls in some corners/edges even in the second visit, just cleaning liquid and wipes are not enough for them to clean properly. If you just need a very general cleaning this service is fine but don't have high expectations for them to clean thoroughly.

Spotless was not the cheapest choice; I discarded that one. But it was priced reasonably. They showed up a bit later than expected, but it was fine. I assumed if I wasn't the first appointment, I should build in leeway. I wasn't in the unit. They sent before and after photos. I went back the next day. They did such a good job, I wanted to tip. In the three hours the cleaner was there, she only cleaned the kitchen and one bedroom, leaving behind the second bedroom, common room, and bathroom. The cleaner did a good job, but I wish there was better communication about what to expect, or an option to extend the cleaning to cover the areas promised, even if it required more money. The cleaner did a good job, but the timing of it all really didn't make sense.

Let me walk you through my past experience... we have tried using cleaners 4 others times. Every single one, we were so disappointed. The first finished in like an hour (what a joke). The second didn't even lift objects to wipe the whole surface underneath (uuuum?) the third was really really nice, but there were streak marks everywhere. The fourth was just okay... (he didn't even use proper bathroom cleaning supplies to get the soap grime). Now I am not joking. I have never seen our place this clean. No one responded to my email that was sent the day before my service asking what time I could expect someone. I had to book a two-hour window (8-10am) and I asked if I needed to wait the entire time for someone. Someone replied and said that I would receive a 30 minute notice before the cleaner arrive (so I still would have had to wait two hours either way?) I replied to that email and asked about a specific time frame and received no response. The next day, the day of my service, I did not receive a 30 minute advanced notice, she just showed up at my door at 8:30am. She did not come with any supplies as the website stated. She only dusted the tops of furniture and did not wipe anything down. She didn't put anything back in its place and I had to go through my apartment and put things away where they belonged after she left. Even organizing things would have been helpful. I specifically asked that she lift the rug in my bedroom to mop the floor underneath and she said she would. When I got home, I checked and this wasn't done. She furiously grabbed the mop and did it quickly in a hurry, while speaking on the phone. A few days later, I received a text message to my personal phone saying that I had a balance due but with no instructions on how to pay it until I asked. Not a single email communication with them stated how I pay for the service. I asked how to pay it was and I was sent a Venmo image and that's it. I replied TWICE to the text message requesting the information over email and have yet to receive a response from anyone. I don't know what experience everyone else had, but mine was terrible and I will never use this service again.
