Food (5/5): We ordered the Nortena Tortas, Tostadas Antojitos, Taquitos Pastor, and Taquitos Pollo. All of the dishes were made fresh and very delicious! I really enjoyed the tacos in particular. They had really tender and delicious meat with great flavoring. The Nortena Tortas was also a really solid sandwich. It wasn't on the menu anymore but I showed them a photo of it from someone who had previously posted it on Yelp and they were able to make it. Service (4/5): Solid service where they took our order without any issues. The food took a bit longer to come out but it was probably because they were making it fresh. Ambiance (3/5): It's an ok decorated store with minimal frills but overall nice. There seemed to be seating upstairs and a place to wait if you order to go. This is one of my favorite places to order for dinner or lunch. Normally there almost on time and most of the time earlier than the time estimate. Most of the time these are my go-to go plate: Al Pastor Taco: Grilled diced pork marinated in our special blend sauce cooked with onions and chopped pineapples. One of my favorite tacos brings a lot of pork and is very tender very bueno a good option to have. Enchilada taco: spicy pork. Grilled, diced pork marinated with a special blend of sauces. Pretty decent, good taste, and a good amount of meat. La Torta Norteña : steak, bacon with Mexican chesses. Served with tomato, onions, avocado mayonnaise, jalapenos, and re-fried beans. For me no habichuelas por favor. The portion of the torta or sandwich is very generous and comes with a lot of steak and cheese and the jalapenos make it a perfect Torta with a great and delicious taste highly recommend. read more

This place usually tastes amazing and we always enjoy the food we order. But after today we will no longer be ordering from them and would prefer to give zero stars, but one star seems to be the lowest option. We ordered the nachos that comes with meat, and it was absolutely disgusting. The meat that was in there was nothing but fat and connective tissue. The worst part the major piece I pulled out was a long connective tissue with just fat. The entire thing was inedible. Instead of enjoying my food, I was looking for more fat and cautiously tasting more horrible cuts for what continued to be fat and tissue. Just because it's nachos and the nature of this dish is to pile everything on does not mean you can throw inedible shitty left over cuts of fat and tissue that should have been discarded after cutting of the better meat that was probably used for something else. Absolutely disgusting, and I cannot believe they would serve this. read more

Price is decent, the burrito isn't as big as others that I've eaten. It tasted okay. The Al Pastor was a bit of a let down, maybe because I was thinking there would be more pineapples in it? I've mentioned this before, finding a bad Mexican restaurant (especially in Queens) is extremely hard to do. Now, these guys were good. Not great. The cheese on the nachos was all one giant piece so the nachos were not enjoyable at all. The torta was supppppper greasy. Overall, however, the food was pretty good. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! My friends and I ordered 4 Gutierrez tortas, and we received exactly this! Meanwhile in the description, it included something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT! Delicious meal and great portions! I've ordered homemade tacqueria multiple times on Ubereats and the up charge and fees are still definitely worth it considering how fresh the food is and how big the portions are. Next time I'll definitely make the 20 min trek out to the storefront to order from them directly. One thing to note, their quesadillas aren't what you'd typically expect as simply cheese and meat pressed between two tortillas. Came here with 2 friends and they said this place was good so I was excited. There's a really good space upstairs to dine in and our server was nice. My friends got some steak tacos and I got a chicken quesadilla. We also shared an order of guac and chips. The quesadilla was okay-good, but nothing really special. I think the green hot sauce was what made it good. Then the guac and chips: the chips were good, portion was good, guac was fresh, but no flavor at all. If I was rating solely based on the food it's 3/5 stars. Now why I've dropped the rating..So on their Yelp page they offer a voucher: $10 for $15 worth of food and the only rules were 1 voucher per table so I purchased it. When we got the check I told our server we had a voucher and she said oh ok go downstairs to pay. So we get downstairs and I tell the lady we have this voucher to use for our check. She responds with a bad attitude and says no you can't use this. You can only use it with 2 people and you have 3 people. I'm like what are you talking about?? The voucher says 1 voucher per table and does not say anything about only groups of 2 people can use it. She even looked at the whole voucher and then said no I can't accept it still I was told by my manager this rule. If this is really true you guys are false advertising. Then a group of people come to order to go so she ignores us and helps them. When she finishes helping them we just stare at her....then she's like okay I'll let you use it this one time but you can't do this again. Don't worry I will never be there ever again. Anyways then she said I need to press a redeemed button for the voucher show me your email so that I can do it. Then I'm like there's no redeemed button..there is one for check ins though, but not for vouchers. Here is the redeem code for you take down though. Then she's like I do this for everyone that buys the voucher they have a redeem button...afterwards she's still being stubborn about the redeem button and finally said okay just pay the difference let me have the code. Now it doesn't stop though. The difference was $6.72 and then she said we can't use a card for this, but I'm pretty sure the guys that ordered to go paid separately and also used their card for $6 something. Overall the experience was such a disappointment and unpleasant. Just because you have decent food doesn't mean that's it. Your employees are the face of your business and if they don't give your customers a good experience this could drive people like me away. read more

Solid spot. The salsas in particular are world-class - incredible depth of flavor with legitimate heat and notes of smoke and fruit. Meats are well-seasoned, properly charred on the flattop and have a nice balance of protein and fat. They made everything from scratch, and the reason why I know that is that you can see the workers make tortillas and cook in front of you.
