No regresaré nunca.

    Tacos Al Pastor Taco

Tacos and nachos are really good here. We order 3 tacos al pastor, 3 steak tacos, and nachos with steak for $27. Everything was fresh and served hot! I think the al pastor could have used more pineapple and spices for the "spicy pork" but other than that, I would come here again if I was in the neighborhood. Nachos had a lot of cheese on them as well!

This place usually tastes amazing and we always enjoy the food we order. But after today we will no longer be ordering from them and would prefer to give zero stars, but one star seems to be the lowest option. We ordered the nachos that comes with meat, and it was absolutely disgusting. The meat that was in there was nothing but fat and connective tissue. The worst part the major piece I pulled out was a long connective tissue with just fat. The entire thing was inedible. Instead of enjoying my food, I was looking for more fat and cautiously tasting more horrible cuts for what continued to be fat and tissue. Just because it's nachos and the nature of this dish is to pile everything on does not mean you can throw inedible shitty left over cuts of fat and tissue that should have been discarded after cutting of the better meat that was probably used for something else. Absolutely disgusting, and I cannot believe they would serve this.

Really enjoyed the food! Everything was super tasty. Especially the Tres leches cake.

Forgot to take pictures (screenshot provided from ubereats) but we ordered the Spicy Pork Burrito, Al Pastor Burrito, and the Steak & Chicken Burrito. Food was as pictured (extra for avocado). Price is decent, the burrito isn't as big as others that I've eaten. It tasted okay. The Al Pastor was a bit of a let down, maybe because I was thinking there would be more pineapples in it? The Spicy Pork wasn't spicy; The Steak & Chicken was okay as well. Their salsa was really good though! However it was very very little in amount.

Homemade Taqueria is a small chain with six locations of restaurants in Corona, Astoria, Maspeth, College Point, and more. The tacos, quesadillas, nachos, and other Mexican dishes are made in the first floor kitchen and also available to-go at the outdoor street food style stand. There is indoor dining available on the second floor. The fish, steak, and chorizo tacos were outstanding. It came with three salsas topped with fresh cilantro, lime, and radish. The restaurant is located on a busy corner under the 7 train at Junction Blvd. It is a great place to check out for its vibrant Hispanic community with endless authentic dining options.

I had to stop here because they were making the tortillas using the giant comma outside. Some of the best I've had in the country... PERIOD. The quesadillas are worth it!

This was Combo No. 1. Very good. With Arroz on the side

Made my order online of combo #1 which has (1) taco with/o any meat you prefer (1) huarache with/o any meat and (1) tostada with/o any meat. I never had a huarache nor a tostada so it was the prefect option. This meal was very filling. I chose a fish taco, chicken huarache, and a veggie tostada for variety. Not a fan of their fish. The chicken huarache was sooooooooo good. Mmm feeling nostalgic. So good. I also got a side of Mexican rice which just orange rice with veggies with it. It was okay. I added their guacamole sauce on top. Yums. The huarache and the tostada were basically a taco probably baked or fried but a taco. Sooo I had 3tacos lol. Super delicious. Not the fish.

I've mentioned this before, finding a bad Mexican restaurant (especially in Queens) is extremely hard to do. Now, these guys were good. Not great. The cheese on the nachos was all one giant piece so the nachos were not enjoyable at all. The torta was supppppper greasy. Overall, however, the food was pretty good. Little things like the food being pretty greasy kept this from being a 4 star order for us. Honestly, the best part of everything was the bottled sodas of Jarritos we ordered. And WAYYYYY too many options to decide from. Not concise at all.

I am so disappointed this place used to be my favorite spot for tacos in queens. When I ordered my tacos and saw the guy making them he made them as if that was a hamburger from MacDonald's. in addition to that those tortillas they were saggy and dry, the meat was supposed to be "Al pastor," instead they tested... I don't even know how to explain it i am disappointed and worst of all I brought friends with me for the first time. I am beyond embarrassed!!

All their locations have pretty good ratings so I can't really go wrong. Came around 11am on a weekend and it was busy but there were tables available. The tables are arranged pretty strategically to fit as many as possible, which isn't the best for comfort. The service is nice here. The menu is in Spanish but they do have an English menu if you scan a QR code. I ordered the craken taco, costra taco, verde aguachile mixtos, a half dozen grilled shrimps, a la exotica, and guac with fried octopus. Everything was delicious! This place did not disappoint. Although, next time I'd probably skip the Craken taco and verde aguachile even though these two are a top recommendation. My favorite dish was probably the grilled shrimp. The way they grill it really brings out the sweetness and flavor of the shrimp. I personally enjoyed the la exotica more than the aguachile. The guac was also really good and the fried octopus was a good addition. I will definitely go to their other locations. This is a must try for seafood lovers.

Having never tried tamales before, I was pretty eager (thanks to her positive comments). We sampled both the adobo ($2) and birria ($2.5) tamales, and they were absolutely amazing. Personally, I found the adobo tamale to be slightly better in terms of flavor but both were equally well made with its rich, flavorful seasoning. My sister, who has tried tamales before, mentioned that these were even better than the ones she got from the random tamale table (near Woodside), thanks to the diverse flavor options available and how fresh they came out. The customer service here was exceptional. A friendly lady approached us, handed us menus, and took our order with a warm smile. Even though tipping isn't required, their service went above and beyond, making us feel genuinely welcome. We also couldn't resist trying the birria taco ($4), which arrived piping HOT. It was generously stuffed with birria, making it a hearty and satisfying choice. While it was a tad salty for my taste, my sisters thoroughly enjoyed it and had no complaints. Our total order came out to a little less than $10 for three people, which was perfect for a light snack before heading home for our protein dinner (get that protein intake in! EEEEEEEEEE)
