    Horchata small

Food: Tacos 4/5 Tacos were outstanding. The meat was tender with juicy flavors. The tortilla tasted fresh w the cilantro and onions. The so called "guacamole" they had on top was very watery didn't have flavor and shouldn't have been placed on top of the tacos. The tacos taste good without it. Additionally, the radish wasn't cut well. Tostada 3/5 The chicken wasn't seasoned well, it was moist and not dry. There was too much lettuce on it, and it contributed to it being unseasoned. Guacamole and chips 0/5 Watery guacamole, it looked more like a salsa than guacamole. One can't even taste the supposedly "guacamole." It's not even seasoned well, it was watery green mush. The chips were too deep fried , so it was difficult to chew and hurt my teeth. AVOID getting this Horchata 5/5: Tasted fresh and homemade. It was not sweet at all, and happy there was less ice because the drink was cold without the ice. Service 3/5 The lady was rude about explaining the different options for the regular guacamole versus the premium, which wasn't specific on the menu. One girl working the floor so had to wave to her twice or more to get her undivided attention. Ambiance 3/5 Restaurant isn't fantasy, no decor. It's simple. They had a soccer game on, and it was nice that other people were also rooting for the same team. Side note: -it's authentic Mexican tacos for a really amazing price

    Bistec, Lengua, and Carnita Tacos

Tacos are really good here! It is inexpensive and really hits the spot! My go-to tacos are Lengua and Al Pastor at any Mexican spot. This place gives a very generous amount of meat on each taco. Lengua (beef tongue) is super tender here. I have tried it on a taco and on a tostada (nice and crispy!). It was really good! Al Pastor is my favorite taco of all times. Al Pastor, grilled pork with pineapple. This is a naturally good combo and it is pretty good here. All tacos are topped with onions, cilantro, and guacamole sauce. There is also side hot sauces green and red which I think is okay. Burritos aren't bad. They are stuffed with rice, beans, and meat. It comes with a small side salad too. Solid taco spot in the neighborhood!!!

    Pork ear, Carnitas and Chivo(Goat)

I wasn't blown away by my visit here nor was I greatly disappointed. While in the area leaving the Yelp event at Queens Theatre, I needed a quick taco fix so My yelp research efforts lead me here. We quickly found 2 seats at one of the long wood tables inside and a young waitress took our order right away. My friend had never had the Chivo(goat) or the Pork Oreja (ear). We ordered both with a carnitas taco. She also had never tried Horchata. Our food was made promptly. She took one sip of the Horchata and fell in love. She referred to it as the milk left over after you eat your Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Carnitas The carnitas were basic. No wow factor Chivo The goat was very flavorful. The one taco I enjoyed. The onion and lime do it justice. Oreja I did not enjoy the pork ear. Bland and slimy. As Ben. L stated, it's gelatinous. I didn't like that factor. It's a no for me Dawg. ::Randy Jackson voice:: The onions on the plate are a bit excessive and the guacamole sauce could use some work. The Horchata, goat taco and the tres leche cake, I had were all delicious. One of the cooks blew up the bathroom after ingesting some refried beans I suppose. Left remnants behind and a foul odor. Not very pleasant to inhale after having my tres leche cake.

Went there thu night. After a long shift. Food was pretty good. Price was fair. Tacos were soft and hard were all amazing. Even the nachos were yum!! I'd go back! Most definitely!

I come here for the horchata. I'm not talking about the whispers that you hear when you're in a brothel. I'm talking about the most famous Mexican drink. Other than Corona, I suppose. And speaking of houses of ill repute, Sting once left a note in one, for his favourite "lady of the night", or perhaps gentleman of the night (I have no idea, ask Stewart Copeland he might know). Later he wrote a song about leaving the note and how he felt afterwards. It was called "Message In A Brothel." Probably the only Police that were ever really popular in New York City. What to get: Horchata. What else: Tacos. Anything else: King Kong is dangerous to planes. So is Godzilla. They both like to "Swat-Aero Planes." So pilots be warned. Mexican food isn't as amazing in NYC as it should be. But there are exceptions. Suadero (like Tortas Neza) is one of those glowing exceptions). As I have said many times before this place has the best Horchata in New York City. It might even be the best you will find anywhere. It's so delicious and refreshing and it's available 24 hours a day. For some reason I like the way it tastes better at their other two locations but don't let that put you off. If you happen to be next to this location, give it a try. It's still really good. They also have excellent tacos which are extremely cheap and can be bought individually. If that hot Colombian singer that is married to Pique ever has a sex change and becomes a man, she can open a joint named "Tacos Al Shakiro." There are three reasons why Tacos Al Suadero is one of my favourite places in all of NYC, and why I come here on basically every trip to the region, even if it's out of my way. (1) They have delicious tacos. Not the best in the world, but definitely some of the best in NYC. (2) They are open 24 hours a day. Can you believe that? In this day and age? A little Mexican place in Queens? I know, right. Super awesome and a huge plus. But best of all: (3) They have, quite literally, some of the best Horchata I have ever tasted. I'd put it as my all-time number one, in fact. Just ahead of Taco Nazo in Columbus and Valle Of Mexico in Buffalo. Granted, I'm still trying Horchatas to add to this list of faves, but I've had a lot of bad ones, and a lot of mediocre ones, and only a few truly excellent ones, and this Horchata is right at the top of the tree. It has just the perfect blend of cinnamon, water, milk, and rice. I get a large (which is expensive... the small is only 2 or 3), and it seems like a half gallon. It lasts for ages and is so cool and refreshing and light and delicious. And when it's done, I invariably wish I had another one. So these days, I often buy two large. The funny thing is, these large are given in plastic to go containers instead of cups. Tupperware-style. So they're incredibly hard to drink or store in a car without spillage. But whatever. They're just so damn good. If Enrique Iglesias opened this place, he'd whisper the name to you in the middle of the night, like this: "Tacos Al Te Quiero. Mi amo." But then he's a bit of a man-wh*** is he not? Which is fine with me. In fact it's wonderful with me. (Tosses hair). Speaking of late night horchata. You should have seen me running around Queens at 2am with one of these things trying to catch the last subway train back to my Econo Lodge Motel last summer the night before I flew to Brazil. I did not do too well with it. Lots of spillage. White stuff dripping down my pants and the like. I wonder what people thought. Actually I know exactly what people thought and I'm okay with that. And by the way, I missed the last train and ended up waiting an hour for a bus that never came (with a bunch of other disgruntled late night folks) and then taking a taxi instead. And if this were in the Middle East, it'd be "Tacos Al Jazeera." Which is great if you Dubai. I generally don't. I do hetero. I do homo. I don't tend to Dubai. Sorry if that is a disappointment to some. And back to those tacos, they're exactly what you would expect from tacos. Excellent pastor, good asada, nice chorizo. Greasy, filling, cheap. Much like the tacos at the trucks in the area. They remind me a little of Coatzingo just a little way down Roosevelt. Real Mexican tacos made by real Mexicans. The service is pretty good. The 24 hour thing is why I come here so often. But the Horchata is the shining star of the show. And if this were a cheap shampoo and conditioner shop, it'd be "Tacos Al Suave." It'd be owned by Rico Suave. Which would be ironic, because you'd probably only shop there if you were not Rico at all. I would know. I can barely afford the rice paper this horchata review is printed on. Anyway I make homemade Horchata. I can whip some up right now for you if you like. Close your eyes. I don't want to reveal my secret method for making it. :)

Super yummy. Best tacos I have had in such a long time. Will order again. Their Horchata is also really really good. Not too sweet but perfect to curb the spicy

Ordered BIRRIA tacos. This is what I got.
    Luana O.

I ordered BIRRIA tacos and this is what I got. Once i walked in a "gentleman" (using that term loosely) entered right behind me. I saw others in the line, so as I was going to wait my turn, the fucktard that entered behind me says "I'm here to pick up a phone order". Completely disregarding others waiting. I told the lady behind the counter, that I too was picking up an order and i arrived before that guy. She acknowledged me but still attending this piece of shit. Another lady came over after 5 mins or so and I handed over my credit card. Only to have to wait almost 20 mins just to have my card charged. My food was cold by the time I was out of there. Only to NOT even have what i freaking ordered! $30 for 6 birria tacos and I get some regular shit!!! DON'T BOTHER GOING HERE! HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!

    Spicy Pork & Lengua Tacos

The food here is good, really good! It could've been an easy 5 stars. We have to minus 1 star because of the wait. We were there around 10pm for a late night dinner with our friends. The place was somewhat busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. After we placed the order, we probably waited around 20 minutes for our food which was way too long. The Cuban tortas were amazingly delicious! It's huge! Guarantee to fill you up even if you have a big appetite. The lengua & the spicy pork were also really good. The only bad thing about the taco is the lack of cilantro. The hot sauce here is spicy! We love it! Our waitress doesn't speak English so one of our friend who speaks Spanish had to place the order for us. Well, at least there's English on the menu so if you don't speak Spanish & happen to get the waitress who don't really speaks English, you can always just point at the menu when you place the order. We will definitely go back to try some other stuff on their menu...

Tacos here were underwhelming. I tried the namesake, assuming that it'd be solid. After all, a place called Suadero Tacos damn well better have a good suadero taco. To note: They didn't. I tried the chicken taco too, and it was extremely bland. Almost shockingly bland. The only saving grace was the cecina, which was decent, though unspectacular. They also gave the "gringo treatment" of when we asked for water, they brought a bunch of Poland Spring. Yeah blah blah, economy, need profit whatever. It's been going on for awhile, and frankly, I'm sick of it.

All their locations have pretty good ratings so I can't really go wrong. Came around 11am on a weekend and it was busy but there were tables available. The tables are arranged pretty strategically to fit as many as possible, which isn't the best for comfort. The service is nice here. The menu is in Spanish but they do have an English menu if you scan a QR code. I ordered the craken taco, costra taco, verde aguachile mixtos, a half dozen grilled shrimps, a la exotica, and guac with fried octopus. Everything was delicious! This place did not disappoint. Although, next time I'd probably skip the Craken taco and verde aguachile even though these two are a top recommendation. My favorite dish was probably the grilled shrimp. The way they grill it really brings out the sweetness and flavor of the shrimp. I personally enjoyed the la exotica more than the aguachile. The guac was also really good and the fried octopus was a good addition. I will definitely go to their other locations. This is a must try for seafood lovers.

I ordered Carne Asada ,Medium . Which I never received, it wasn't like it was busy or anything. Server never once came to our table asking if anything was ok . I just waited patiently for my meal . After her Meal was finished she flagged down the server and asked where is my meal . She then apologized stating she forgot to put my order in .. I asked for the check with the server apologizing, I said it's ok but the restaurant should at lest comp the my girlfriend her one cocktail . But that didn't even happen.. Neat, fun spot for some good food in Sunnyside!…read more For anyone like me who isn't great at reading restaurant/bar descriptors, this place isn't *just* a bar, nor is it *just* a restaurant - it's a bit of both. Cozy but not cramped, cute little spot that's great for Summer relaxed vibes and munchies. They're specialized in Latino food and drink. They apparently have a whole flight of Margaritas and/or Mojitos to sample - I'd love to try one sometime, however yesterday I stuck with a regular Margarita and was pretty pleased. Clearly made in-house, none of the store-bought drink mixes or anything involved. My mom and I split a few appetizers between the two of us and were quite full, even had some food to bring home. Went with the birria tacos (solid), a trio of other tacos (steak + chicken + pork), and a plate of fried plantains with beef and mushrooms that was really fun - first time we'd had that, glad the waitress talked us into it. Everything came with home-made guac as well. They have a full bar with quite the selection of drinks, lots of Happy Hour specials up on the walls, and a solid, straightforward menu of additional appetizers and also burgers and sandwiches. The staff are super nice and upbeat. My Ma was buying, and I believe she spent about $85 for 3+ appetizers and a drink. Not exactly cheap but it you think of it more as a filling and fairly tasty lunch for 2, roughly $40 each - it's not bad at all. Will definitely come back and give that flight of Margs a try!
