Ordered them both toasted, but neither of them were. The avocado smash sandwich was decent, but the lack of toasted bagel kind of ruined the whole thing considering the bagel itself did not seem very fresh. The French toast bagel looked amazing, but was cold, not even room temp let alone toasted as ordered. Very dry, seemed like a 2-3 day old bagel or maybe even frozen and defrosted. I'm not sure. Again, that lack of freshness might have been easy to disguise if it had been toasted. Overall it's a cute place, lots and lots of crazy options. I would not go back.

Great location and tons of options. But maybe too many. It felt like everything was so spread thin that nothing was prioritized and championed. Seems as like the business model is to get you in just to try the "cool ranch cream cheese" and then make you never come back because you did it and tried it. I went with two friends and I got an everything bagel with bacon and chive cream cheese. Cool. Easy. Simple. But the bagel was just soft and tasteless. The cream cheese carried and it's purely because it tastes like bacon. The bagel didn't have a crunch, toast or just a good bite to it. Idk soulless Now the hot Cheeto bagel. My word. This was like a "I gotta just get it to get it". Hot take (no pun intended) not bad? And genuinely. It just tasted like a bagel and sadly enough, have more to it than the everything bagel. I've had 3 different sandwiches now from them because I can't stop going back and they've all been stellar. Two amazing things to highlight that sets Pete's apart. 1. They offer a punch card! idk about y'all but I LOVE A PUNCH CARD! 2. There is a dog park attached to the patio so even if you don't bring your pup with you, there is plenty of cutie pie entertainment while you eat. Not only are the bagels incredible, but the matcha is bangin! My wife and I always get the lavender matcha and it has never missed. For the best experience, I'd recommend to go early and to sit outside. Because the line gets long, it's gets a bit cumbersome to eat inside PLUSSSS not only do you get pup entertainment but since they're in Ybor, you get free chicken entertainment. This cozy little shop is located in Carrollwood Village... a huge housing development, that somehow-innearly 36 years of living here-I had never been to until now. But missing a turn, led to some exploring and then, some bageling! New York Bagel and Bean is in a plaza at the corner of South Village and West Village. The joint was jumping when I was there at 11am on a Wednesday. It was difficult to find a parking spot, but so worth it. The shop is very homey and welcoming-with several tables and homespun decor. The owner (or manager) was very friendly and helpful. I felt truly appreciated. I felt bad I was only ordering one bagel. It was big and the perfect texture. And then... came the honey butter. Honey butter, people! It's happening! This was not a drill! It was delicious! Decadent, yes-but the perfect accompaniment. I may be in love! Should I move to Carrollwood Village just to be closer? By noon on weekdays, the bagels are always nearly gone but you still have a couple to choose from, but on weekends, they are long gone before lunch. On those days, I order their delicious egg salad sandwich on rye, and you get a choice of side. I've had their pasta salad and it's delicious, but this time I just opted for chips. And always a pickle spear! Farrell's is also well known as an ice cream shop. Though I've never tried their ice cream, while I sit in to dine, I watch many parents come through with their kiddos, grabbing a scoop or two. The interior is very lunch diner-esque. Nothing flashy or special, just comfy, easy seating to enjoy your lunch. And a friendly team happy to help. If you're a Miami Hurricanes fan, you'll love it here, as it's filled with memorabilia and orange everywhere you look.

I was told all bagels are made fresh daily and they tasted that way, too. We kept them out on the counter for three or four days and they were still soft to the touch. Don't be like me though, I was told it is recommended to saran wrap and freeze, then defrost a bit and bake at 350 after brushing with a bit of water. I did not try this BUT sounds like it would freshen them right up like new. The inside was clean with seating options and I was pleasantly surprised they had so many bagels available an hour before closing. Great place, come show support!

I took a bite once I got into my car, and the pastelito did not make it out of the parking lot. I highly recommend trying their baked goods! I've tried their LGABEACSPK and the smoked salmon bagel sandwich. They are generous with their schmear and make everything to order. I've always had a pleasant experience when going to Baygulls. It's great to support a local business and hope they continue with innovating bagel flavors.

A few quickly discovered this wasn't a place where you order and sit down, so they made a strategic retreat and took a detour to another great spot on Manhattan where coffee comes with actual seating. After standing there for over 10 minutes watching what appeared to be three people collaboratively earning a PhD in the production of a single cup of coffee, my daughter and I decided to leave. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best first impression. I was especially disappointed because we had already tried to visit earlier in the week--closed Monday, closed Tuesday--and were genuinely excited to finally check it out. Adding to the experience was a smell that hit me just a few minutes into waiting. Something seemed... fishy. Literally. Since the shop is in a strip mall with a sushi restaurant, I'm wondering if the aroma was making its way through the A/C system? I enjoy sushi as much as the next person, but generally only when sushi is involved in my immediate plans. To be fair, I might not have even noticed the smell if we'd been greeted, served, and on our way. But my daughter noticed it too, so it wasn't just me. Why didn't it smell like fresh baked bread? The thing is, I really want to like this place. I want to support local businesses, and I still plan to give them another try. A friend who visited a couple of times mentioned things felt a little disorganized then as well, but I was hoping that would improve with time. Maybe employ a teen to crumble up a cookie and a piece of bread to share samples while they wait?!
