Egg bagel with roasted garlic sage butter, egg, & Gouda
    Alyssa M.

This bagel shop has some very unique offerings, including the roasted garlic sage butter which I tried! I opted for an egg and cheese with that butter on it, and it had a nice flavor. The bagel itself was a bit crumbly and the egg was very thin (not a fluffy scrambled egg), but overall it was a pretty good bagel sandwich. They do not have any seating inside but it's a cute little counter service place and very clean inside. There is also a big seating area offered outside that is shared with the coffee shop next door, and plenty of street parking in the nearby area. The cashier was very friendly and she let me know that the butter I wanted was being made and that it would take a few minutes to be ready. It took a lot longer than I thought it would, but she let me know that I could sit outside and she would bring my food out when it was ready since it was taking longer. However, I could have opted to skip the butter and it would have been much quicker! Overall a cute place with pretty good bagels and unique choices.

This is the perfect place to stop by on a slow morning to enjoy some yummy bagels. They have a great selection of freshly made bagels and offer a variety of spreads/sandwiches. I ordered a french toast bagel, which had the perfect amount of cinnamon sugar on top. Definitely recommend trying this spot if you haven't already!

This is a cute bagel shop connected to Giancarlos restaurant. You walk into the delicious smells of freshly baked bagels- and the taste matched the delicious aroma! We opted for savory- salt with veggie cream cheese and jalapeño Asiago with veggie cream cheese. The salt one is just that- salty- but still good! The jalapeño Asiago bagel was my fav and that cream cheese was sooo delicious!! Service was awesome and they were handling samples if you weren't sure about a flavor. I will definitely be back!

IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A NY/NJ BAGEL THIS IS NOT YOUR PLACE!!! Bagels are nearly inedible. The texture is spongy and hard to chew. Tastes like a frozen bagel you would get at the grocery store. I'm from new york and based on the reviews and name of this store I thought I would've been satisfied, but I took one bite and immediately threw it out.

Tried them today. I'm from New York and have had a bagel or 2 in my day. Bagels were fresh and delicious. Hard to find a good bagel place in tampa but these were great. Had the everything and it had a nice crunch without toasting. Highly recommend you give them a try. There are several bagel places in noho (I think that's what they are calling this growing area) so make sure you go to the right place and pay attention to the address.

Bagel was chewy and inedible. The name is correct, it did in fact make me homesick. Workers were great though

Simply put, best bagel I have had in Tampa in 25 years. Owner was working the flat-top and took time to chat. Excellent everything.

Damn, good bagel. Appreciate that they have egg everything which is hard to find outside of New York. Also very good cream cheese.

I finally found it at New York Bagels--and it's only 15 minutes from me! I stopped in a little later in the day, so they were already sold out of quite a few varieties (which honestly is a great sign if you know good bagel shops). I was hoping for onion bagels, and luckily they had a couple left. From the moment I walked in, I got the warmest welcome from the owner. He genuinely seemed happy I found the place and took the time to chat. He even gave me the number and said I could call ahead next time and they'd have my order ready--and even bring it out to the car. The bagels were exactly what I've been missing--fresh, flavorful, and right. But what really stood out was the kindness and genuine hospitality. This is the kind of small business you root for. I'll definitely be back--and earlier next time so I don't miss out!

Whether I'm grabbing breakfast for myself or placing a large order for a group, the food is always fresh, delicious, and made exactly the way it should be. What really sets them apart is the people. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed with a warm hello and a big smile that makes you feel like more than just another customer. It's the kind of family-oriented atmosphere that's becoming harder to find these days. The quality of the food is always on point, and honestly, you can't make a bad choice from the menu. Everything is made fresh, portions are generous, and there's truly something for everyone. If you're looking for authentic New York-style bagels, great service, or need breakfast for a crowd, I highly recommend Zio's. Do yourself a favor and support this local, family-owned business. Once you've been there, you'll understand why so many people keep coming back. You won't be disappointed.

I love that they have premade recipes so you don't have to make up your own bagel and mannnnn do they hit! I've had 3 different sandwiches now from them because I can't stop going back and they've all been stellar. Two amazing things to highlight that sets Pete's apart. 1. They offer a punch card! idk about y'all but I LOVE A PUNCH CARD! 2. There is a dog park attached to the patio so even if you don't bring your pup with you, there is plenty of cutie pie entertainment while you eat. Not only are the bagels incredible, but the matcha is bangin! My wife and I always get the lavender matcha and it has never missed. For the best experience, I'd recommend to go early and to sit outside. Because the line gets long, it's gets a bit cumbersome to eat inside PLUSSSS not only do you get pup entertainment but since they're in Ybor, you get free chicken entertainment. Who doesn't love a good nature scene when eating the best bagel you've ever had. One last great thing about Pete's is that they have bike parking and plenty of it. Makes for a lovely Sunday morning ride to brunch!

The only downside honestly is the service. I had to explain multiple times how I wanted the sandwich made with the toppings side by side and the person taking the order just wasn't really understanding what I was asking for. Even after explaining it again, it still wasn't clicking, which was frustrating. I've noticed this pretty much every time we come here. The staff never really seems approachable or friendly and the customer service could definitely improve, especially when tips are being requested. A smile and better communication would honestly make such a huge difference because the food is genuinely great. We also tried the matcha latte for the first time, and unfortunately it wasn't good at all. Maybe it's new, but it definitely needs some improvement. Overall, we still love coming here because the food keeps us coming back, but the service has consistently been lacking. Realistically the service is probably a 3, but because we love the place and the food so much, I'll still give it a 4.

If you look at my reviews I haven't been the nicest to bagel shops around these parts. Going into Hyde park I didn't think they would be the saviors for the genre but they have gone and done it. A smash and grab operation. Swept me off my feet with an Asiago bagel with Ruben fillings (yeah they toasted it and applied all toppings themselves. Even cut it...other shops, take note) But yeah an odd order but it worked out so well. I loved it. Also tried a regular everything bagel and it did everything it needed to do. Hit all aspects of what a bagel needs to be and delivered. (Not pictured) Now you may see the photo of a purple bagel with blue cream cheese...did I order this, absolutely not. Did it kinda hit...yes...yes it did. Heres the deal chat, I will try weird things but I do need to also try to basics, like an everything bagel to really gauge things. This spot ripped. Prices are good too, 11 bones for a Ruben bagel. Yeah yeah I'll take that. A fun suprise and a location that will see me more often trying new things. Shoutout you all for making bagels that are actually bagels not gimmicks.
