Was working near by and was craving bagels so I swooped in. They have so many options I didn't know what to choose. I ended up with Sriracha Honey Sunrise and the Twice baked Hash Brown with an Orange juice and I loved every bite. Both women who took my order and ran me up were very nice and helpful. Interior definitely was a good vibe. My only gripes are I felt it took a little long for my food to come out and I thought the OJ was a bit much and had a weird mint taste to it. Honestly still can't believe I had this interaction. On Friday 13th we ordered bagels from Bruegger's. When my coworkers and I started eating she noticed the cream cheese was a little funky as well as I. Before we decided to call my third coworker started to take a bit to see if it's just the regular cream cheese. When she started eating hers she noticed there was something weird in her mouth, she spit it out and it was a very hard texture like maybe wood or something shredded. We put it in a napkin to take a picture of it and bring it to them, when we called in to make sure there was a manager present we kept getting put on hold OR THEM not picking up, one coworker went down to tell them about the cream cheese the worker went and grabbed the container smelled it and knew it was off as well. She substituted it for a coffee instead of a refund or reorder. Fast forward to today I went down to finally show them and tell them what happened on Friday. (Due to them being closed on Monday for not having workers) I asked to speak to the manager... was rude from the jump. Asked hi how are you just to break to ice and was ignored lol I told him what happened and I didn't know if my coworker did a online order or called in so I assume an online order he tried to argue with me about that then I told him I could of been wrong it was over the phone, then I told him idk if the bagels are made in house or out sourced because it could of been the vendors fault. He told me all the bagels are made in house and that would have never happened/didn't happen "not from our bagels" he said. I just looked at him at him explaining to him unfortunately It did. I had a picture of the call logs the name of the order and all, he still just wanted to continue and argue to me that it didn't happen. After several seconds of just blank stares I told him we will just dispute the charge if needed and walked away. I come from hospitality and restaurant industry, and I understand when you want to protect your establishment but when it's right In front of you black and white I don't know what else to say or tell you, . You may see this post and be confused because of my hype over a bagel, but just know it's very good. Love this place. Who knew I needed brisket, eggs, cream cheese in an everything bagel. Something so simple put together like this is amazing. Wish we had one of these where I live. The service was quick and everyone was very nice. They have a nice setup where you order your bagels and it's prepared in the open where you can see them. I grew up in a small town in New England with a Bruegger's about 5 minutes away. I always thought the bagels were incredible. They were perfectly chewy, perfectly crunchy and most importantly -- they had those tiny water spots that made all the difference. Then I later moved to NYC where I discovered that the best bagels in NYC actually tasted just like Bruegger's. Then I moved to Florida and immediately realized the bagel scene here is a nightmare. People seem to think a bagel should taste exactly like bread except in the shape of a circle with a hole. They also think the key to a New York bagel is just making the bagel very large. Not the case! A bagel is a very unique product that is totally different from bread. That's why I was thrilled to find this Bruegger's location in Tampa. This east coast bagel shop is so delicious. We were surprised they had this here and it did not disappoint. Some of the better bagels I have ever had. Chewy and flavorful. The breakfast sandwich was so good savory and filling. I love lox and it was yummy. Their sweet bagels are great too. The gals behind the counter were nice and helpful as well. Let me start with an honest confession...I'm a bagel snob! I'm from Long Island where the bagels are plentiful and delicious. Since moving to Tampa, I've found it hard to find good bagels..until yesterday. Yesterday my boyfriend and I decided to give them a try having just moved nearby. My first impression when I walked in was "wow this place smells amazing" Service was quick and friendly and the menu had a ton of options! They are always busy in am but the workers are fast and efficient. The staff are very nice too. On to Ambiance: 1 it's a bagel store so you're not going to have a romantic view. It's your classic bagel storefront. They currently have the back room with seating closed unsure when they plan on opening it up. Tables turn over fairly quickly and the bagels are worth the wait so don't fright you'll have a seat to sit ur bum bum on before you know it and let's be real we are about to put down a bagel a few extra steps isn't the end of the world. And last but not least let's talk food: Freshly made bagels, they offer tons of options, no limited menu here! The cream cheeses are whipped and delicious full of flavor, and best of all they don't scrimp you with a little dollop. You're entire bagel is covered in scrumptious cream cheese. Don't forget to order the twice baked hash browns. It's served like a muffin and boy of boy is this little muffin delicious. Growing up in metro Detroit, we had Bruegger's Bagels everywhere and I severely missed it when I moved to Florida. However, discovering this location in Tampa has been a life changer! There aren't any bagel shops in Orlando that even come close to this place. We make the hour drive about once a month and it's worth it every time! The bagels are fresh and the staff are always friendly. The rosemary olive oil bagels are amazing (I prefer one toasted with veggie cream cheese) and we normally always get quite a few to take home with us. Really my only complaint is that the last time we got bagels to take home, the woman cut them without any sort of care. Not a huge deal, but the place wasn't busy and she could have taken a couple of extra minutes to do it the right way. Just makes it harder to properly toast the bagels later at home. Also, although it's better than a lot of other chains, the coffee/iced coffee isn't that great. If they upgraded that even slightly it would make such a difference and would definitely make me change my rating to five stars. I will 100,000% be back. Came in today specifically for the French toast iced coffee to find out it was only a seasonal drink. What's so seasonal about French toast? About a month ago a friend came by to visit and gifted us with a Dozen Bruegger's Bagels with Cream cheese. We enjoyed Breakfast together and were thankful for the introduction, we were not aware of the brand and the store near by us. The toasted bagels were fresh, crispy and super tasty!! He got for us variety flavors from sweet to savory and we liked them all. Today as we just finished our usual Riverwalk to Ulele and back, we looked up the store location and went by to pick up an other Dozen. While in store they were people already having early Lunches. This is an awesome bagel place with the best service ever. The food is tasteful, the prices are affordable, in few words it's a great place to go and grab a delicious meal. I had the Route 66 bagel which was recommended by part of the staff and I absolutely loved it.
