I have sleeping issues and I work in Everett. So one random morning, I woke up super early and felt a rumble in my tummy. I checked around and found this place. I liked it was listed under diners and hoped to find some delicious breakfast fare. And I did! I had the corned beef hash and eggs and they give you a decent size. The seating is minimal here. Maybe about six tables total. The man at the counter was very nice, the coffee was hot and delicious, and the decor was reminiscent of an old time diner. Definitely recommend if you're trying to get a hearty breakfast.

Hometown Charm is appropriately named. The servers are kind, the food is comforting, and the space is cozy. We like getting the different varieties of eggs benedict here for brunch. They also have good coffee and baked goods.

I don't write reviews, but I needed to for this one. We were sat upstairs and instantly seen the server was busy and by herself. She greeted us within a couple minutes with waters and was so nice. She took our order within a few minutes of being seated and once we got our food, it was great.. She was for sure running her tail off. We will be back. Thank you to Key for the exceptional service. You were AMAZING. It's so hard to get good food and great service anymore.

Based on the 4 star rating we decided to try Hometown for breakfast this morning 10/27. We got in and were seated upstairs right away. The interior is great and brings a nice atmosphere for dining. We ordered an omelet with a side of fruit, and the sausage and gravy with 2 eggs and bacon. The portions were generous however there were some problems. The omelet was swimming in grease and the fruit was not looking very tasty (see picture). The server got April and we showed her the issues. She said "we cut the fruit fresh on Friday and because the Mellon is so juicy they put the fruit on a tray to drain off the juice". Look I was a GM at many restaurants and we had fresh cut fruit. When it looked like this it was past the serving point. "If you would not serve it to your grandmother why would you serve it to a customer". We noted many other diners not eating the fruit and that was 5-10 people so there was something not right about the fruit. Sorry April this was bad period. We orders another dish as the omelet and fruit put us off. We got another sausage biscuits and gravy with eggs a bacon. This dish was good and filling. The service was very good and attentive but the food left us less impressed. The one outstanding thing was the cinnamon roll. Oh! April did give us a cinnamon roll to take home which was nice since we had some issues. Will we most likely not return and instead visit a place just a block over.

Baked goods were great. Service pretty good. Main dishes - pastrami sandwich, and breakfast food were so so. Very limited offerings open here in Bonney Lake on the holiday day of memorial day.

I cannot say enough positive things about this little restaurant. They have a diverse menu with stellar options and everything we ordered in our group of 4 was so darn good. Service was friendly and swift, plus we were fortunate enough to grab a table outside which we loved. I highly recommend their Seaside Benedict, I haven't stopped craving it for days. On a side note... I also thought their coffee was really good as well. We can't wait to return again.

Cute lil spot for breakfast. Would love to try for lunch. Clean, friendly staff. Both upstairs and main level seating. Reasonably priced. We ordered the senior omelette and the regular chicken fried steak with home fries. Good flavor, decent portion. Not many restaurants can baste eggs the way we like them (whites done) they did perfect! Will come back.

    Avocado Toast. This was amazing!!!!!

Best avocado toast I've ever had!!!!! The brioche bread is amazing - you have to try it to understand.

Nice summer morning we were greeted and seated of choice outside. Order taken and food delivered. The experience is beyond the food. Great breakfast options. We shared a steaks and eggs with side of bacon and sausage.

Hometown will always be my favorite restaurant around! The hometown vibes, community feel add to the Sumner charm, and you can't forget the locally roasted coffee , perfectly curated mimosas, homemade biscuits & the best baked goods from pies, scones to of course the world's biggest cinnamon roll it can't be beat! I'm a sucker for a place that feels like home and I can always get that here! April and Brady always make the experience fantastic and the cooks always come through whipping food out quickly, and deliciously! I'm a regular here but I can guarantee there's nothing that would be able to change my mind that this is the best breakfast place in town!

We had to bring our pup to a specialty veterinarian nearby and stopped in afterward for breakfast and to get an oil change. We walked over from Sunset Chevrolet with our injured dog in a stroller, and the staff could not have been kinder. We ordered him scrambled eggs, and they surprised him with a bacon-topped pup cup. Several staff members even came out to our table to say hello and make him feel welcome. The food was fantastic. I ordered the HOBO, and it was absolutely delicious. My spouse had the pastrami sandwich, which was just as impressive. We sat outside - which is really nice - but the inside is super clean and very welcoming. The combination of exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and how they treated our dog made this an experience we'll remember. We'll definitely be making River's Edge Cafe a regular stop whenever we're in the area.

The John Daly and Pink Guava Mojito were both deliciously refreshing, which felt a little inconsiderate because now I have to think about them again. The homemade corned beef hash was fantastic, the Crab Bennies were out of this world, and the country potatoes were exactly what breakfast potatoes should be: crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and not just there for emotional support. And each dish came with a yummy mini scone. The staff were super friendly and efficient, and the whole place had that relaxed, welcoming energy that makes you want to sit there longer than you planned. Overall, great food, great drinks, great service, and a clean, easygoing vibe.

Unfortunately, we did find a hair in the burrito this time It was definitely gross, but they immediately made my husband a new one and waived the charge. Our server was amazing throughout the whole experience, so instead of using the waived charge as a discount, we used it to tip him extra. He truly deserved it! The first time I came here, I ordered the Crab Eggs Benedict, but I was WAY too hungry and completely forgot to take a photo. This time, I got the Open-Faced Dungeness Crab Melt and PLEASE get this if you come here. This was THE BEST dish ever!!! The crab, melted cheese and tomato worked so well together and everything tasted perfectly balanced. And the fries were SO crispy! Even with the little incident, we will definitely be coming back. The food is too good and our server made the experience even better! Also, if you're coming for a special occasion like Mother's Day, definitely make a reservation ahead of time. Honestly, I would recommend making one for weekends too because it can get busy!

The Greenhouse Bloody Mary was lighter and fresher than a typical Bloody, made with an in-house clarified celery juice base that gave it a really bright flavor. We also tried the Rhubarb Sunrise with rhubarb purée and vodka, simple, refreshing, and super easy to drink. We started with the crab cocktail: chilled crab leg meat over ice with lemon and cocktail sauce. Really fresh and simple in the best way. The salad ended up being one of our favorite things we ordered. Fresh greens, snap peas, pistachios, feta, mint, dill, and a grilled lemon vinaigrette. Super refreshing and kind of addictive. The server did a great job with the timing of the food which is always appreciated, so you don't feel rushed. We split the pork belly benedict and it was excellent, rich smoky pork belly, perfectly poached eggs, and a really solid hollandaise. The potatoes were crispy and nicely seasoned too. The French toast was ridiculously good. Thick-cut with a crunchy caramelized outside and soft custardy center, topped with strawberry-rhubarb and fresh whipped cream. Sweet but not too heavy because the rhubarb balanced everything out. By the time 11:00 rolled around the restaurant started to fill up, if you want to come when they open at 10 you could probably get in without a reservation or sit at the bar. The outdoor patio was also open and looked nice. Finished with a michelada made with pilsner, vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and a shrimp garnish. Awesome food and cocktails like always from Oxbow. Definitely coming back for brunch with family and friends.
