Hometown Charm is appropriately named. The servers are kind, the food is comforting, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the space is cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We like getting the different varieties of eggs benedict here for brunch. They also have good coffee and baked goods.

I don't write reviews, but I needed to for this one. We were sat upstairs and instantly seen the server was busy and by herself. She greeted us within a couple minutes with waters and was so nice. She took our order within a few minutes of being seated and once we got our food, it was great.. She was for sure running her tail off. We will be back. Thank you to Key for the exceptional service. You were AMAZING. It's so hard to get good food and great service anymore.

Based on the 4 star rating we decided to try Hometown for breakfast this morning 10/27. We got in and were seated upstairs right away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is great and brings a nice atmosphere for dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered an omelet with a side of fruit, and the sausage and gravy with 2 eggs and bacon. The portions were generous however there were some problems. The omelet was swimming in grease and the fruit was not looking very tasty (see picture). The server got April and we showed her the issues. She said "we cut the fruit fresh on Friday and because the Mellon is so juicy they put the fruit on a tray to drain off the juice". Look I was a GM at many restaurants and we had fresh cut fruit. When it looked like this it was past the serving point. "If you would not serve it to your grandmother why would you serve it to a customer". We noted many other diners not eating the fruit and that was 5-10 people so there was something not right about the fruit. Sorry April this was bad period. We orders another dish as the omelet and fruit put us off. We got another sausage biscuits and gravy with eggs a bacon. This dish was good and filling. The service was very good and attentive but the food left us less impressed. The one outstanding thing was the cinnamon roll. Oh! April did give us a cinnamon roll to take home which was nice since we had some issues. Will we most likely not return and instead visit a place just a block over.

Baked goods were great. Service pretty good. Main dishes - pastrami sandwich, and breakfast food were so so. Very limited offerings open here in Bonney Lake on the holiday day of memorial day.

I cannot say enough positive things about this little restaurant. They have a diverse menu with stellar options and everything we ordered in our group of 4 was so darn good. Service was friendly and swift, plus we were fortunate enough to grab a table outside which we loved. I highly recommend their Seaside Benedict, I haven't stopped craving it for days. On a side note... I also thought their coffee was really good as well. We can't wait to return again.

    Avocado Toast. This was amazing!!!!!

Best avocado toast I've ever had!!!!! The brioche bread is amazing - you have to try it to understand.

Cute lil spot for breakfast. Would love to try for lunch. Clean, friendly staff. Both upstairs and main level seating. Reasonably priced. We ordered the senior omelette and the regular chicken fried steak with home fries. Good flavor, decent portion. Not many restaurants can baste eggs the way we like them (whites done) they did perfect! Will come back.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice summer morning we were greeted and seated of choice outside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Order taken and food delivered. The experience is beyond the food. Great breakfast options. We shared a steaks and eggs with side of bacon and sausage.

Hometown will always be my favorite restaurant around! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The hometown vibes, community feel add to the Sumner charm, and you can't forget the locally roasted coffee , perfectly curated mimosas, homemade biscuits & the best baked goods from pies, scones to of course the world's biggest cinnamon roll it can't be beat![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'm a sucker for a place that feels like home and I can always get that here! April and Brady always make the experience fantastic and the cooks always come through whipping food out quickly, and deliciously! I'm a regular here but I can guarantee there's nothing that would be able to change my mind that this is the best breakfast place in town!

Between me & my girl we tried a bunch of different things -- the Texas smoked sausage, guacamole, arroz de la casa, esquite, quesadillas, fish tacos, the 8 oz filet mignon, and the American wagyu burger. Honestly there wasn't a single thing we didn't like. The filet was cooked perfectly & came out on a hot plate. It will continue to cook if you leave it on the plate but they disclose that & give you an extra plate to transfer it to (some people complain about their steak being overcooked but in my opinion that's their own fault lol). The esquite and arroz de la casa were amazing, I'll order both sides every time I come back. Overall it was just a really solid meal. Definitely a place I'd recommend if you're in the Sumner area.

(Updated Rating)…read more UPDATE: I am updating my review because Farm 12's customer service completely blew me away! After my initial review, management proactively reached out to make things right. Not many restaurants take active measures to leave a better impression, and I 100% want to support their incredible service. We returned on a Monday at 11:30 AM and had a spectacular experience. The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed the stunning outdoor seating area by the fountain and florals. Because it was a quieter weekday, we were seated immediately, our server was incredibly kind and attentive, and our food came out in just 15 minutes! We ordered the Fried Cod and French Fries, which was fried to absolute perfection (perfect batter, crispy outside, soft/warm inside). The fries were spectacular, too. I only wish the sides of coleslaw and pickles were a bit larger. We also had the Salmon Farro Bowl, which featured beautifully cooked salmon and a nice medley of veggies and avocado. It was a little bland for my personal taste, but it is a fantastic, clean option for health-conscious diners. My first visit was clearly just a fluke due to a busy weekend crowd. I truly appreciate their proactiveness in reaching out, the beautiful ambiance, and the excellent food. I will definitely be visiting again!

There's ample parking that's paved or across the street on gravel. The food looked amazing in photos, but I wouldn't say it was as good as it looked or sounded in descriptions. It was generally very tasty, but everything felt like it was missing just one ingredient that would make it better. It could be that I'm just more used to ethnic flavors and these were just not quite hitting the mark. For example the stratciatella was good, but if the whipped ricotta was a little more fluffy and there was some extra black pepper or lemon added it would have been perfect. The pork belly was a little dry and not worth the price for just three pieces. The thick cut truffle fries were very good however. We also tried the bucatini and it was nice but still I wanted a little more kick. It has spice but just needs a little something to punch it up. The steak sandwich two of the three of us sharing a meal loved and I'd say was the best thing we ate. The service staff was kind, considerate and gave us time and made sure our drinks were filled. There are still a lot of dishes I'd like to try and since I loved the area, it would be worth coming back again.

First time trying the brunch after many dinner visits…read more Started with cocktails and both were really good. The Greenhouse Bloody Mary was lighter and fresher than a typical Bloody, made with an in-house clarified celery juice base that gave it a really bright flavor. We also tried the Rhubarb Sunrise with rhubarb purée and vodka, simple, refreshing, and super easy to drink. We started with the crab cocktail: chilled crab leg meat over ice with lemon and cocktail sauce. Really fresh and simple in the best way. The salad ended up being one of our favorite things we ordered. Fresh greens, snap peas, pistachios, feta, mint, dill, and a grilled lemon vinaigrette. Super refreshing and kind of addictive. The server did a great job with the timing of the food which is always appreciated, so you don't feel rushed. We split the pork belly benedict and it was excellent, rich smoky pork belly, perfectly poached eggs, and a really solid hollandaise. The potatoes were crispy and nicely seasoned too. The French toast was ridiculously good. Thick-cut with a crunchy caramelized outside and soft custardy center, topped with strawberry-rhubarb and fresh whipped cream. Sweet but not too heavy because the rhubarb balanced everything out. By the time 11:00 rolled around the restaurant started to fill up, if you want to come when they open at 10 you could probably get in without a reservation or sit at the bar. The outdoor patio was also open and looked nice. Finished with a michelada made with pilsner, vodka, Bloody Mary mix, and a shrimp garnish. Awesome food and cocktails like always from Oxbow. My wife said the chicken parmigiana was one of the best examples she's ever had. She usually isn't into red sauce that much but she loved it. Most of us had the salmon, which I think was cooked just right and was well presented. It's kind of a weird location but it works that it has a lot of parking. The inside's nice and clean, the people we engaged with there were pleasant/service was good. Cons: Main issue last night was how long it took to get our meal: I think it took over an hour. I don't fault a place for a single slow experience, and the waitress was apologetic about the delay, but for the level of establishment it is, it would've been nice for the table to have been given some free bread or something to munch on as an apology for the wait. The inside was pretty smoky when we got there, light beams cast. Not sure if smoke derived from cooking or the inside fireplace (insert?) but my wife's sensitive to the smoke, so her eyes were bothering her for a bit. She was talking about possibly needing to go outside when I think the AC kicked in and the air quality improved. Otherwise, I'd say the main con is it's on the pricey side. Like after tax the salmon is almost $50, no salad/side included, and it's not a large portion. It was, however, delicious.
