Jeremy from TMC Heating and Cooling arrived promptly on schedule. He was warm friendly attentive, professional and very thorough with his diagnosis of the problem. He first checked our Ecobee thermostat that originally notified us our furnace was not working. Once opening the furnace he knew exactly what was wrong. To confirm his suspicions he hooked up his tools which proved his diagnosis was correct. Jeremy explained in detail the problem and what was needed to resolve it. We thankfully have intermittent heat for now until the replacement part arrives. Yesss! Two days where it's warmer outside than in - only doable with electric blankets. Follow up...within 30 minutes after leaving Jeremy gave us a follow up call to let us know the progress. Part ordered and received quickly. Jeremy returned, replaced the part and insured everything was running properly. We've never used this company before but from the attentiveness, understanding and efficiency of Martha who scheduled our appointment asap, to the knowledge and professionalism of Jeremy, if we need HVAC services in the future we're calling TMC Heating & Cooling. read more

The first job I had Tim do was repairing my heater. He arrived when he said he would, explained everything well and charged a fair price. A couple of years later I had another issue with the heater and his employee came out and repaired it. Another smooth repair. So, when I decided to replace the heater and AC I went straight to Tim for a quote. He went over several different options and after much dialog about the different types of systems and price ranges I felt comfortable going with a Bosch heat pump system. It was planned to be a 3 day job. Adolfo and Melvin arrived on time, were very friendly and professional and used drop cloths throughout the house so there was very minimal mess and the house was left clean every day. The job took 3 days as estimated and I was very happy with the entire process. The nice thing was that I was entitled to a rebate from TID and his office staff took care of all of that for me. I'm so impressed with TMC. My air conditioner stopped working shortly into the long, fierce heatwave hitting the West Coast. They scheduled the earliest available appointment (the third business day following my call), then put me on a priority to come earlier if possible. They got here the next business day (TIM & another technician). While I had to call the office the following morning because the system failed again, TMC's response was equally impressive. ADOLFO was out by noon and fixed--at no charge--an additional problem he found. All the technicians were very courteous, professional and understanding. MARTHA in the office was equally terrific. I've dealt with HVAC companies in the past who didn't seem to care how long someone went without heat or air. TMC CARES. Their response fixing the additional problem at no charge makes me feel very comfortable with their integrity. I hope to have TMC replace part or all of my older system this fall when the weather is more moderate. read more

During this past heat wave of temperatures well over 100 degrees, our AC stopped working. I was panicked because I knew it would be difficult to get a quick response form an AC company during a heat wave, and also worried that the cost would be out of my reach. When I called TMC cooling, Tim was responsive and committed to coming out that SAME day! Even though his schedule was packed already, he made time for us, at 9:00 at night (!!!), and within an hour had diagnosed the problem, had the part on his truck, repaired my unit....and my house was cool by 10:00pm. He came to my house and listened to all my concerns, evaluated my system and made recommendations regarding my 25 year old system. I decided to have my entire split unit replaced. I messaged TMC after realizing that the heating/ac unit would not turn on in my house, no matter what setting I put it on. Same day, he was able to come and see what was going on. Everything was explained so thoroughly from the issue my unit was having, to the solutions with great estimates. I also received before and after pictures/videos. TMC replaced the board, switch, and a gap in the unit we didn't even know we had. Our home is notably warmer than before and everything is working like there was never any issue. Tim did an excellent job installing my whole house fan. They were very clean and respectful of our home. They were able to work around my schedule, and came in the evening and worked late to complete the job. I had to leave before the job was complete so he made a video and emailed it to me to make sure I knew how to use the functions of the fan. I decided to upgrade my 20 year old unit and requested several contractors to come out for bid. TMC was couple grand cheaper but the customer service was second to none. This guy is a small local business owner that came out and busted his but to make sure our system was installed in a timely manner. I have been in construction for over 30 years so I always make sure to have guys come and bid apples for apples. Price wise... Worth it... Customer service... Worth it.
