I'm so happy to have a location in EG! Perfect spot to chill. Service is fantastic. The bowls are great, always super fresh and topped with a heavy hand! The toasts are such an underrated hit. I love the South Toast - so simple but so good!

The food is delicious and fresh, and it's nice and clean. My favorite is creating my own bowl.

My car automatically drives into the parking lot. It's weird how that happens. It is extremely clean inside. The staff is very kind and helpful. I also think nothing about dropping an extra $10 on DoorDash to have this delivered to my house if Im having a serious poke bowl craving. If you like poke bowls, you need to try this place out!

That is not the issue mistakes happen. I'm well aware of that coming from a customer service background I understand that things happen sometimes mistakes are made, so I went to the establishment to have the orders corrected. One of the orders was remade, but not the way it was supposed to be it was still missing items and was and the other two orders were not remade. I left the two incorrect orders there, and I will never return to this establishment so take your chances and double check that your order is correct because it seems as though they have a hard time fixing incorrect orders

Hard to get poke bowl around here, so I had to try this place. When I walked it, there were only…read moretwo other diners. It had a sort of fast-food type of feel to it, but it was clean and bright. Never been to a Pokemoto before, so I didn't know what their menu was. It's very customizable, but since it was my first time here, I just asked for their miso salmon bowl (I was tied between the Hawaiian bowl and the miso salmon, and the girl making it said she preferred the miso salmon). Along with it, I got a seaweed salad and a mango boba tea. The miso salmon bowl was pretty good. The rice was definitely a calrose variety. It's the closest we come to a Japanese short grain for a US variety...otherwise, more commonly referred to as "sushi rice" in the US. The salmon had good texture and flavor. The miso was pretty good. Enough to give it flavor, but not so much that it overpowers it (I think it was made with a shiro miso, but I could be wrong). The garlic and onion chips gave the flavor some depth and provided texture. I was worried the cilantro could overpower the flavor of the salmon, but it didn't. The mango pieces in it....I'm up in the air about that. It was a more sour mango, and poke bowls definitely need a bit of acid or sour to cut the fattiness, but I found the mango a bit distracting. That said, I'm not sure what I'd use in place of it. The seaweed salad... it was.............okay. I mean, I liked it, but I found it very, very sweet. I feel like a bit less sugar, and a bit more sesame oil. Oh, and some sesame seeds. The mango boba tea... After looking more closely at the menu, I may have just ordered wrong, but, in contrast to the seaweed salad being too sweet, the mango boba tea was not sweet enough. Look, mango is a super sweet fruit, and when you get a dry mango sweetness, it's............weird. It's like this...imagine if you got a cup of watermelon juice, and when you drink it, you get a dry watermelon sweetness to it; like you get with a dry wine. Odd. Additionally, the boba pearls didn't have much flavor, but I didn't request it with the brown sugar pearls, so that's actually probably my fault. The boba tended to clump together, though, which was a bit odd (they don't do that when I make it at home). Overall, I liked it. I'll be honest, it's not the cheapest, but dining out hasn't been cheap since 2019. Was it worth it? Will I dine there again? Definitely. If I still lived in the apartments at the Commons, I'd probably find myself there once a week.
