I understand the effectiveness of each of every review. I don't do this often, But this is an exceptionally, to protect other consumers. We didn't experience ANY HONEST IN HONEST -1st auto care. First at all, you can see our bills below. My husband brought our car in for a strange noise. We left paying them $4900, $2000 for labor .. on a air conditioner and breaks a job that the technician performed in one day and half, he must have spent 20 hours on our car for a price of $110/hr Couple week after, our car made even worse noise. We brought it back and we were charged zero amount of dollars . Yes ! That's right bc they put the wrong fluid in our engine, we don't know what they put in, how they fixed it. So then less than a month later, our car completely broke down. We were at Costco with food and young children, We had no choice but tow it to the same place ( that put in the wrong fluid to our car) look the problem and sure enough we handed them $1630 for a water pump. Everything happened within two months after we handed them our car $6600. Kelly blue book recommendation for the cost of changing water bump is $600- $800 we were charged $1600+. We wanted to support a small local business . We are hard worker people with young children and bills, Our car almost pay off. We chose this place for the convenience of time and distance but we feel cheated and robbed. We don't know how much more would it cost and when our car would broke down again. We can only hope and pray for it to not happen anytime soon. read more

I was on my lunch hour and had finished pumping gas when a lady ran up to my car and said something was leaking under my car. I got out and looked and gas was just pouring out the bottom of my car. Not sure of what to do I immediately drove down the street to Honest 1. I walked in frantic and had a patient scheduled in 30 minutes. I was waited on immediately and my car was put up on the lift. My Lower Fuel Filter Neck had a hole in it. Everything was explained to me clearly. I was told I would be ok until I needed gas again. They would order the part and call me back. I went back to work and saw the rest of my patients that afternoon. When I finished I had received a message that they had found the part and they could replace it if I stopped by after work. It was replaced within 30-45 minutes and it did not break the bank. As a woman I did not feel taken advantage of. I felt that they genuinely cared and they made me feel at ease after I had come in there in a panic. I would highly recommend Honest 1 to anyone. I recently visited Honest 1 Auto Care at Johns Creek for an A/C service, enticed by their flier advertising a regular price of $179.95 with a $30 discount. However, my experience was far from honest. Upon arrival, Justin informed me that the flier I had was four years old and that the current price was at least $300. To verify this, I called the Roswell location, and the person on the phone quoted me $200. This discrepancy made me question the so - called "honesty" of the Johns Creek location. As if that wasn't enough, I also inquired about a full synthetic oil change. They advertised $89.95 for 5 qts of oil, but since my car takes 5.5 qts, I was quoted $119.95. That's an additional $30 for just 0.5 qt! It's clear that they need to proofread their fliers and ensure their pricing is consistent. I had to cancel my appointment, and I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this location. Save your time and money; go somewhere that values honesty and transparency. read more

I found this location of Honest-1 Auto Care through their very positive reviews on Yelp. The kind words of their customers were spot on. They exceeded my expectations and were extremely thorough with my oil change and tire rotation that I was able to conveniently schedule through their website. Mike was super friendly and accommodating. The check in process was simple and the wait was no more than 30 minutes, if that. I appreciated the text and email updates on the status of my car as well as the overview of what they did and pictures they took documenting the step by step process of my oil change. I will defiantly be returning for all of my car maintenance needs. They were able to accommodate an emergent request for us, first thing in the morning, and were so pleasant to deal with, both before and after our van was fixed. Listened, answered honestly, and after running it by a close friend who is a Level 3 tech for Chrysler, found out they were 100% honest and didn't try to upsell anything. From the first time I brought my car to Honest-1 on 141 I felt comfortable that they were going to take care of the car without overcharging. The facility is extremely clean, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and they have extremely fair prices. They go the extra mile to make sure your car is taken care of. I went in to have my rear brakes checked since it had been 50K miles since they were replaced. After the free brake inspection of the front and rear I was pleased to find that the rear had 50% remaining and the front even more. I did have them install new RainX wiper blades while there. The estimate they gave me on a full synthetic oil change was better than what I have been paying. I will use Honest-1 for my next oil change. read more

I started with Honest-1 with a bad battery in my newish car. Justin ran all the tests before installing an Interstate Battery. They are a dealer for Interstate Batteries. That was a plus for me, I've had Interstates for over 30 years. So far I've only used H-1 for routine maint. work. Scheduling is easy, wait time is minimal and if the job will take a while I can have shuttle service home and back. What's not to like. read more

This company seems very honest and straightforward. Mike explained everything to me in a simple yet concise way so I could easily understand the problem. I know they are probably not the cheapest around, but the warranty combined with their attitudes make one feel very secure in dealing with them. Very good & professional service! These guys know the job they do! They've made inspection and sent pictures & text explaining to my email about all problem of my vehicle. My car had a lot of problems with suspension and it wasn't possible to make a right alignment, but these guys replaced several elements and my car is driving straight again. read more

I have been going to Honest 1 auto (johnscreek) for several years- mostly for oil changes but additional work as well. Mike and the guys are fair and honest about needed repairs. The price quotes can be higher ( used to have better coupons/discounts )but they stand by their work. read more
