Tried the cheese masala dosa, Chana Bhature and Dahi puri. Food came out quick and piping hot. The chutneys that accompanied the dosa were delicious - tomato, peanut and coconut chutney. Enjoyed the sambar and the potato bhaji in the dosa as well. Didn't quite taste the cheesiness, but it satisfied my craving. The bhature were huuuge! Chana was really well seasoned and it came with pickled and spiced onions and veggies, which is the only way to eat this really! Yum washed it all down with some excellent masala chai. VERY POOR Customer service. Went in and placed a take out order and told them that i will be back in few minutes to pick up the order and went to nearby grocery shop. Front desk lady messed up my order. Instead of take out she put in dine in order. When i came back, food was left out on the table (4 full size entrees) and she said i ordered a dine in order. I said no, i clearly told when i was ordering that it was take out. She then asked me if I can pack the food that's left out and take home :(, seriously? I said no, i am not packing. Another lady at front desk offered to help, she packed our food, she was nice, but didnt wear a gloves while packing our food, gross :(. Whole time the lady at front desk who messed up the order, didnt apologize, was rude and had an attitude. If this was an American restaurant or any others, they would have apologized, offered a new fresh order and not make customer pack food that was left outside in a busy restaurant ( during covid time ) for 10+ minutes. Food is tasty and lot of our friends order from this place, but todays bad experience will make us rethink twice before ordering from this place again. My wife and I visited this place with the kiddos very recently. Due to my restricted diet, I had to choose between a very limited set of South Indian options despite all the variety of fast food choices available. I ended up ordering an idli with low expectations. Generally I follow a rule of thumb to only order South Indian food in South Indian restaurants. This is a gujurati chain and North Indian. I was in for a rude awakening. The idlis were cooked to perfection, light and fluffy. 3 varieties of chutnies which were all excellent! Wow, how could this place be better than madras dosa corner in their core competency? Good stuff!! Ok, and their pav bhajji and chole puri are to die for based on the review of my wife and kids. Honestly, every item on their menu sucks. It's junk and over salty food sold in the name of ""street food. Firstly, they are not following any COVID norms. There were atleast 50 people dining inside the restaurant and they were not asking anyone to show proof of vaccination or PCR test. Secondly, if you want to worsen your high blood pressure by eating ton of salt then this is the place. There is nothing Baahubali about their Baahubali Sandwich, just some inexpensive unhealthy spreads on three slices of bread with a ton of salt. Their Faloodas are nothing but watered down syrups with some artificial flavoring. I am shocked to see this place being so busy and how people are willing to pay their hard earned money on this food. Honest finally opened its doors in WA and I couldn't be happier. They have a lot going for them. The location which is right next to Indian store works in their favor, the menu is crowd pleasing and their food is really good! We ordered takeout. I read a lot of good things about their pav bhaji and vada pav so we got those. I have always been disappointed with vada pav everywhere in US but this place surprised me. I would be happy to recommend their vada pav to anyone wanting to try the authentic version. And that's a big deal. They give you a sweet chutney, green spicy chutney, dry red chutney and fried chili!! Kudos to the chefs it's really close to the Mumbai version. The pav bhaji is another triumph, it's the best version I have had outside India by a large margin. You don't just taste the potatoes, it's buttery and super tasty. I have to also call out the pav! It's so good, I am not sure if they make it in house but the pav is what makes both the dishes stand out. I am reserving my one star for the rest of the menu that I am yet to try but the start was promising. I have seen 3 restaurants at the same location, but I honestly feel honest is here to stay! I had worst Manchurian (dry) of my life half an hour ago. To be specific: 1. It has no taste as a normal Manchurian - a tasty one- should have 2. Basic things were missing which brings essence to the dish - the Manchurian balls were taste less - no salt- and even worse - they were uncooked inside. 3. When I asked about it, i was told that its dry manchurian so- its supposed to be that way - no regular tomato sauce was there - since according to my principles, I don't like to waste food at all, I just wanted to get it over but when we pay outside for a pre-cooked meal, we do not expect this! It is so not worth for 8-9$ for such messed up experience. 4. It was a huge disappointment. I am not gonna dare trying any Indo-Chinese dish at Honest from now on. I am not sure if this has been noticed before - but I visited at lunch time and this might be another factor influencing the quality of food because the most famous wada paav were also not good, they used the bread which was not fresh - assuming it was bread left from yesterday's batch. Also, they did provide Chilli with Wada Pav this time but not the correct one - it was not at all the regular chill - which is the whole point of having chilli with wada paav. Overall, I would recommend not to eat Manchurian at all at Honest. Suggestions for Honest Team - 1. You are running a food chain, please keep tomato sauce and fried chillies at your restraint. 2. Check the quality and taste of the dish - right now (Dated 5th August 2022 1.30 pm PST), if you try Manchurian dry dish - you will see my point and experience it as well. 3. Once you establish the ideal quality of any particular dish - the hardest part on your side is to maintain it as standard. The taste and quality should not get diminished/compromised as soon as your reviews get good remarks or your customer base/foot traffic increases. We ordered for takeout (vada pav, dabeli, dahi poori, samosa Chaat and bhel puri). Dabeli and dahi poori were our favorites, as well as samosa Chaat. Bhel puri was stale. Vada pav was good but not amazing. May be better to eat in than do takeout as we were only given one set of utensils (we at outdoors so needed more) and no napkins, and it wasn't clearly labeled which chutneys were meant for which dishes. To give you a little background about Honest - they started off as street vendors in Ahmedabad - serving Pav Bhaji and Pulav around 1980's to grow into an ubiquitous brand in the state of Gujarat, India. Its a household name that everyone knows about - and their Pav Bhaji and Pulav are the things to go for. They have had US presence for a while, but it was mostly restricted to Midwest and east coast. When I heard about Honest opening in Bellevue, I was beyond excited. Finally, I made a pick up order on Sunday and the food put a smile on my face! First about the place - its huge. Lot of space, very open and a nice vibe to it. I made an order on phone for a Honest special Pav Bhaji, Honest special Pulav and a Honest special grilled sandwich. Pick up was smooth - food was ready when I got there. Coming to the food, happy to report that the taste from India is intact! Atleast the Pulav was as amazing as I remember having it there. Grilled sandwich was really good as well. Made me nostalgic seeing the sandwich served with side of potato wafers and dollop of shredded Indian processed cheese (just like they do in Gujarat). Pav Bhaji was decent - Not as good as the Indian version but definitely better then the other places in this area. Star of the show was Pulav - perfect spiciness, perfect flavoring. Slightly on the oily side, but that's the way they make it back home. Again, I am so glad they opened. Go, give them a try - you won't regret it! read more

Finally an amazing Indian food option! I have been here several times now and have also done dine in. The place has a pretty good capacity and they were taking temperature before seating people. The vada pav is an absolute must try here! This is closest to the one I have had in Mumbai and honestly the only one that I would bother eating out. The pav size is humongous and the ratio of vada to pav seems off. So the best bet is to have Amul Vada Pav which has the pav toasted in garlic chutney along with butter. This combination is absolutely heavenly! Bhel Puri, Pani Puri and Dahi Puri are all great! Their chutneys are perfect and I would think they would do a nice job with all the chaat. The pulav is actually tawa pulav, and I can't say enough good things about it. The Hakka noodles have slightly lesser vegetables but a great smoky flavor to it. The sandwiches are not that great for delivery/pickup, I wasn't too impressed with it. Their falooda is the authentic one and worth a try. The only downside is this places takes ages to get food out and have long wait times. Sometimes as much as 1.5 hours which is kinda unreasonable. Okay so this is an update to my previous review given we have been back to this place several times since their opening. Most of the times their pav bhaji is amazing but my last experience was horrible as the pav bhaji was not made well and didn't taste like pav bhaji and the pav's served were not toasted properly - this was a takeout order. On another occasion, sides of onion and raita were missing on the pav bhaji and pulao takeout orders. And worst of all, their bhakri pizza size has decreased by 25% but the price is the same (thinking no one will notice, hope this is not a sign of things to come) and two times out of of three the pizza served was soggy and not cooked well. It is very disappointing that only less than two months since their opening their quality has deteriorated. In short, they are good when quality is maintained but lately we've had more issues on takeout orders warranting this review update. read more

Honest at Bellevue gave me Nostalgic feeling of eating REAL Honest Pav Bhaji and Tava Pulav in Ahmedabad. I get take out from this place almost every week. Love their food. People most go there to try their pav bhaji but i was in a mood for samosas today. And so glad i did. Back in Ahmedabad there was this farsan (snack) shop called 'Mehta's'. They used to serve samosas that were quite different to our typical samosas served everywhere else.. tempered with mustard seeds, a little sweet and slightly spicy. They were an absolute treat.
