I had over a hundred flea bites, battled with fleas over two months, and spent something around $300 on pest control supplies from Home Depot. That was how terrible my flea infestation had gotten. I had gotten rid of them before, but this time it was just more than I could handle. It had simply started with Frontline being ineffectual with their formula (screw you Frontline), but snowballed into one of the most hellish experiences I'd ever gone through. The only reprieve has been through Honest Pest Control. When we had finally given up on trying to "do it ourselves", we found Robert's business. He had the best rate of the 4 services we called. First, he asked what type of medications our animals were on. Since he was spraying both inside and outside, he wanted to make sure his pest-control solutions wouldn't react poorly with our pets. Even we hadn't thought of that... but it just shows how much care he puts into his work and service! Secondly, our fleas REFUSED go away. Even after the first treatment, we still found more fleas. Robert came back immediately free of charge to spray again with a different solution. Even after the second spray, they STILL wouldn't go away. One call later, Robert came back for a THIRD time to spray a new solution. He even surveyed our neighbor's yard to make sure the fleas weren't coming in from that direction. Lastly, Robert even made sure to dump out our dogs' water bowls before we got back home. He wanted to make sure that he wasn't contaminating their food or drink. This was something we normally would've had to taken care of ourselves when we got back home after the spray service, but these small kind actions were what really impressed us with his service. We couldn't be happier with the service and how many times he was willing to come back to re-spray, free of additional charge, making sure he got the job "done". In terms of communication, pricing, and care - you can't do any better than Honest Pest Control. I think after this fiasco, finally biting the bullet to hire a professional service, we won't ever be trying to "do it ourselves" again. I contacted Honest Pest Control many times. I was disappointed in their lack of communication and failure to respond to my inquiries.

Robert was very nice but I was disappointed by his service and the quality of his work. He sprayed the outside of the house for spiders and I asked if he could spray the attic, which I thought was the source of the spiders coming into our bedrooms. You could see where they were coming through the sky light and vents. He said that was unnecessary and that spiders in the attic would be largely inactive. When he left his said his stick had broken so he couldn't take down the dangling spider webs but that I could do it later. Didn't love that but I took care of it. We continued to have spiders in our bedrooms days later so I contacted him by text repeatedly for four weeks but no response. My son eventually got a spider bite so bad I had to take him to the doctor for antibiotics. After my sons suffering and doctor bill I will not be calling Honest Pest Control again. Not that he would respond anyway. UPDATE TO ORIGINAL REVIEW: Often you post on Yelp and nothing happens. Wow, this was the exact opposite. Robert responded less than 30 min afterwards and came the same day to address the problem. He did a thorough walkthrough, found the problems and even offered to redo the areas he had already done a few months ago. I was really impressed by his professionalism and genuine desire to take care of the problem. We will be calling him again in April. read more

If you have any pest issues I would highly recommend using HPC! I had an issue with carpenter ants recently and was kind of freaking out as they started to pop up in my kitchen drawers, floor, basically everywhere in my kitchen. I messaged HPC on yelp and had an immediate response with an estimate and times available to come out (next day, etc). Just dont make the same mistake I did and use bug spray! Wait for the professionals! Robert came right out and sprayed my whole house (inside and out) and took care of the issue. I haven't seen any ants back and it's been about a month or a little longer. I am happy with the work and customer service I received from Robert of Honest Pest control. My dad's house had a rodent issue as it is an old house and over the years more areas appeared where rodents could get past. Robert came out and solved the problem at an affordable price. One thing we had to do was put wire mesh around the house, certain spots on the roof/fireplace and underneath the house. This solved the problem. However, there was an issue where an area was breached because a crawl space door warped a bit since the time Robert installed mesh over it. Robert came out and fixed that problem. He also looked for various other areas another time and fixed a few spots at no charge. This was just in case they became an issue. He gave me various ideas and suggestions of things I could do in the future. Robert was very personable and easy to deal with the whole time. I have been having issues with bugs in general due to the better weather. (Spiders, Ants, Pincher bugs, silver fish) In addition, I've been seeing "sewer roaches" in the drive way and found two in the garage. Robert, the owner of Honest Pest Control, is amazing. Truly amazing! And he's not kidding about the "honest" part of the pest control work he does. We experienced fleas courtesy of our new dog last year. I thought after flea bombing the house several times, flea dips, and groomers, etc that we had the problem licked. But I kept seeing bugs in the laundry room and carpeted area outside of the laundry room. I finally had enough and called a few pest control places. Robert was very responsive, straightforward on the price, and was willing to come ASAP. That was Friday late afternoon. ASAP ended up being Monday, Memorial Day, and Robert showed up on time. I wasn't home when he got there due to having to work, but my family called to say the problem we were experiencing wasn't fleas (anymore). Robert got on the phone with me and explained he thought they were some kind of small beetle. He said he had an expert he would show them to, and he'd call me when he knew which species of beetle, to ensure he treated for the correct kind. He mentioned seeing a black plastic bag which had some sort of little pellet/mini-rock like substance coming out of a hole in it. I had noticed it myself in a laundry room cupboard the night before, and Robert asked to take it with him, as he thought it might be the source of the infestation. He was right. Started day out pretty freaked out hearing noises (likely a rodent) coming from one of kitchen closet. Robert was available to come within 3 hours from call time, which was perfect. I had tried different vendors earlier but until Robert earliest I could get was like a day after which was not an option for us. Robert is real nice and honest guy. I got the squirrel issue on my rooftop. I tried to find a way to block these critters from accessing the roof via the utility power line and cable line. Robert came and gave the suggestion to install big discs to block the squirrels pass the lines through to the roof. I found one such product in the internet. Robert installed it. But it seems no effect. Robert came again to modify the product using his creative way. This time, it seemed reducing the frequency of the visits from these squirrels, but not totally eliminate their visit through the lines to the rooftop. Later I found another more effective product in the internet, Robert came again to install it in one weekend. This time, the product seems working and I do not see or hear the active noise from these critters as now.
