We have been enjoying the excellent quality of Honest Eats since they have opened. Little did we know that they offer an extensive catering menu till we were searching online for a take out order on their website. They recently catered a dinner to help us with a memorial for our daughter's life. The menu satisfied a wide range of age groups and dietary restrictions. We started with with a fruit platter and a a charcuterie platter which included specialty Italian meats, mixed variety of cheeses and dried fruits: apricots, figs, dates and more. The main large platters were: pasta Aglio e Olio with marinara side sauce, meatballs, freshly grated parmesan cheese, bourbon salmon, chicken piccata, , assorted farm fresh vegetable medley. This is the second time eating here. The first was very good. However, being a Saturday, it was busier than before and the service was not great. Our food arrived in a reasonable time, but we had no silverware. The server got distracted with other customers at the bar as we sat looking at our food with no way to eat it for way too long. She didn't seem too rushed, just too casual about providing the attention needed. I don't mind paying for good food, but this time one plate was average and the other less than average. This is what Southbridge has been waiting for. I ordered the steak frites and the steak was one of the best I've ever had - perfectly cooked and seasoned, and melt in your mouth tender. Even though they only opened 4 days ago, service was excellent and the food came out quickly. I'm hoping this place will be around for years and years. Started with a glass of water - I assume straight from the tap with no ice. Ordered cheeseburger medium-rare - was told all they had were smash burgers which would be cooked more than I ordered. Not impressed with the home-made chips. Waitress was polite but had to wait quite a while for the check as she was busy talking with other waitress. have had cheeseburgers in various local establishments that puts the "Smashburger" to shame. read more

Amazing new restaurant in downtown Southbridge. Serving new American pub fare with flair. Food you would normally pay a lot more for and get in downtown Worcester it's really nice to have in a small town. Place is beautifully decorated and matches the level of the food superbly. And service was an 11 with bartenders and servers being very professional and also extremely good at what they do. Run here don't walk. read more

What a disappointment!! Was excited to try this place for the first time today. While the initial greeting was ok the rest of the service experience was terrible. A refill of coffee necessitated three asks. Customers who came later than us got the same food we ordered before we did and the excuse for waiting over 30 minutes for our order was that their online business was busy. We ordered a 1/2 Blt and soup, and a grilled cheese! Unfortunately I cannot give you a review on the food as we left the restaurant in frustration. Yoooooooooooo... it was my first time in today, and I was so impressed!!! The ambiance is cozy, warm, intimate with rustic wood and greenery. The staff was incredibly friendly. This restaurant is a little hidden gem! It has a lot going for it and is a welcome addition to the area - some highlights and I'll start with the one we don't get much - they have an excellent bartender mixologist who can make real, old school cocktails - it has excellent fresh food and a creative menu - and its well decorated and very comfortable. Starting with the drinks - they can make REAL drinks like last words, aviations, side cars, sour flips, gin spritzes and they make a REAL espresso martini - dark. The right way. There are NOT alot of restaurants/bars with bartenders that can make good old school cocktails in the area. It's worth a visit just for that if you appreciate an old school legit cocktail. So hard to find these. For the food - to date, I've had a coupe of their ramens, the brunch shrimp and grits, chicken and corn cakes, and the braised short rib. Everything has been excellent. Fresh, creative menu, tastes excellent every time. Their brunch options are amazing. The restaurant is small and seating is limited. It's always full when we go, so we tend to go early when they open to be sure for a seat. I have seen people leave waiting because seating is limited and the food is very good and worth the time to enjoy. We are routinely greeted by the owner and the bartender/mixologist. Super friendly. They are doing a great job and HTE is fast becoming a favorite for us. read more

The food was a bit overpriced for the area and the taste didn't match either. The food was still good my girlfriend got the braised short rib and felt it was good not great and i got the spicy seafood miso, it was not very spicy sadly and the broth was not to my liking. The seafood inside however was delicious! The restaurant is definitely worth giving a try once was possibly just not my/our style! Glad to see the town is loving it! read more

Great to see a nice spot hit ol' Southbridge. Local chef did a good job with the menu. The spot isn't huge. But cozy. Service was very good, a lot of workers who are on the ball. Checked out Honest Town Eats today. Same amazing chef as The Hangover Pub! Highly recommend. We got the Fried Chicken Sando and the Pork Belly Reuben. I bartended at The Hangover for 4 years so it was nice to eat some familiar flavors. Everything very fresh and delicious. Beautiful creative cocktail menu as well. Nice relaxed vibe inside a bright airy sunny spot with hanging plants everywhere and rustic tables and art. Anyone missing Chef Arrastia's cooking definitely take a drive over there!!!! read more

The servers are amazing, kind, and as attentive as they possibly could be given that it was packed. Unfortunately, the food was meh, the Mediterranean wrap was just OK, the Italian grinder was not so great, and the truffle fries were not very good either. read more

Made a pickup order once.. wanted to try it for the first time. Smash burger was good but the buttermilk tenders killed it for me when I went to bite and the meat was cooked on outside and half raw in the inside. Scared to try it again. The drinks were good, but we sent 1 back because two different people had their noses in it. My dinner was horrible, the steak was way overcooked and looked nothing like what I had seen in pictures. Had an amazing dining experience at Honest Town Eats! The waitress was attentive without hovering. Our cocktails/wine were delicious. Two of us had the garlic noodles...to die for! An abundance of flavor! Another of our party had the steak with gorgeous potato spears! Tonight's steak was a NY Strip which was cooked to perfection & thoroughly enjoyed! Tonight will be the first of many night's dining at Home Town Eats! Appreciate that it 's open on Mondays since few restaurants in the area. read more
