Asiago bagel with veggie cream cheese

First time stopping in, like it very much. Great bagels and delicious coffee. Pricing is better than the place that was there before it. Like that they have a local honey company products for sale there too. And healthy snack options for kids.

Really nice workers but not the best coffee or food. Cute place though and easy parking!

While I did greatly appreciate that they use ceramic mugs instead of paper if you choose, I was disappointed in how it almost cost $10 for a nondairy latte. The second time I went I ordered a chai latte and found out they use the mix instead of making it from chai tea. Disappointing from a place that demands premium pricing. I ordered a chai tea instead and the water was so hot I had to order ice. I was with a little kid who also got a chai and disappointed they didn't offer that to him and instead gave me what I consider scalding hot water in a cup with a tea bag. Staff was friendly. I went to Unlikely Story in Plainville and got a chai latte made from real tea with almond milk under $6 last week. So again the prices at this Bakery are premium. I am willing to pay for premium if that is what I am getting and while the first time I got a latte it was tasty but I still am disappointed at the price point. The second time I went I sat at the bar in front of the espresso machine and was grossed out at how dusty the top of the machine is... because they have their to-stay mugs upside down on top of it. There was a layer of dust and there were dust bunnies hanging off it in my direction. There was a bit of dried splattered milk on it too. Basically, they need to clean that and it was not the type of dust that was just there for a week. Got a scone that I wasn't sure was either day old or overcooked either way I needed a sip of tea to get it down and I did not finish it because it just wasn't that great. Pretty sure the scone was over $5. While I want so badly to support a small business like theirs I don't think I will be back until I know they clean the machine more frequently.

I have Celiac Disease so finding a place that is competent regarding allergies is difficult. I felt comfortable in the amount of questions they asked regarding cross contamination and how my food can be prepared. They were kind and knowledgeable about their products, including their coffee syrups. Inside the cafe there's a pick up area for mobile orders as well as a good amount of seating! It's such a cute cafe to sit and chat with friends or just grab a quick drink. I even saw some people working on their laptops. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a gluten free roll and an Irish crème latte. Both were so so good. I would definitely return for another drink and meal! The only thing I would mention is that the parking is a bit tricky. It's all street parking and the recent pile ups of snow doesn't make it any easier to access a parking spot.

I ordered "The American" breakfast wrap, also offered in a bowl and I almost wish I got the bowl. It was by no means a bad wrap but I'm picky with my wraps so I think this was a wheat wrap which made it a little more grainy. They packed it full with egg and sausage so that was great. However, I do wish there was more scram sauce to taste because that is what made it different from the others. I also ordered the Iced cinnamon roll coffee and that was amazing! Definitely recommend.

Honestly, this is refreshing as corporations understaff and stress their employees. This local owner know what we the patrons want, we want people who are happy with their jobs and that's done by great staffing. This is my go to for any gift. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.

My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.
