I'm currently forgoing alcohol for weight loss and general health, so when I saw Honey Elixir had some "Potions" that were both non alcoholic and intriguing, I immediately put this on the places to try list. This elixir bar is located in a very vibrantly decorated alley. When you arrive, you're greeted by the smell of incense. Overall, the vibe was artsy, colorful, and chill. There was a dj playing some groovy beats inside. The staff was incredibly friendly and warm. The drinks: 5 out 5 for all 3. The Healthy Buzz had some alcohol and that was my husband's drink. It was tart and refreshing. I ordered the Four Fiore (non alcoholic) because I love lavender and there was rose and coconut cream in it. It did not disappoint! We split the Love Lixir. The sparkling glitter made it a treat for the eyes and the dried rose petals on top complimented the rose tea and hibiscus. We'll be back sometime! read more

My first experience at this bar was great. I went out with two friends on a Saturday, got seated quickly, and tried a variety of great cocktails. The Rooted Revelry was my drink of choice - a fun spin on a more whisky forward drink. The second time I went there, about a week later on a Thursday night, there was a group of 10 of us. We were seated at their main table in the middle for over 20 minutes and no-one even approached us to take a drink order, just provided waters as soon as we sat down, then nothing. We ended up leaving due to the lack of service. It felt like we were purposefully ignored. The space is not that big. I was really disappointed because I had friends in from out-of-town and was excited to show them this place. Now, I am not sure if I will be back. read more

This is our new favorite place to exist now. The vibe is perfect for either a date night or any other occasion to connect with friends or even a stranger. The bar is located in the alley behind the Denver marketplace. It is not very big but there is seating at the bar, inside and a bar top with stools by a garage door. The lighting is low and the music is totally a mood. The hostess was super friendly and allowed us to sit pretty much where we wanted. So naturally we sat at a table that had chairs as well as a nice comfy cushioned bench. The menu is accessible via the QR code located on the table and you're automatically served water in a cute pitcher. This is a place where the drinks are made with in house natural ingredients. Any sugar in the drink will be sweetened by honey and other natural sweeteners. So I would like to say this a great place to do some "healthy drinking". Please please ask for Rye to be your server if possible!! We were so lucky to have her serving the floor tonight because she was amazing!! Very knowledgeable and knows the menu for sure!! She literally made every drink sound like heaven!! Not to mention her personality was so fire and she really made our night!! Now to the good stuff... the drinks!! Super tasty and strong as hell!! This is not for the weak. Now the potions are non alcoholic however there is an option to add a spirit to them!! Soooo I say go for it because I did and it was amazing!! Three out of four of my party got mocktails and one got an alcoholic drink and all was really good. - kin high rhode (mocktail): this is what I ordered and it was the table favorite! It reminded me of a Negroni, bitter and delicious! Definitely get this if you like Negronis :) - four fiore (mocktail): so unique! I've never had a drink like this before. The base was a coconut cream which made it really rich and the rose, lavender, and chamomile were all really subtle. Would recommend! - chocolit (mocktail): their cacao drink that can be served hot or cold. I had a sip of my friends that got it cold and it was really rich. It's a unique drink but I'm not sure I could drink the whole thing. - honey bear (cocktail): hints of honey made this drink extra special. Really smooth. They had a good selection of unique drinks I've never tried before. We were seated outside and scanned the we code to order. The waitress was the only one working and seemed busy was very kind. Woah! So glad I was recommended this place and glad I stopped by. Really 5 stars for their service, vibe and unique drinks. Originally wanted to come by to try their potions (mocktails) with some friends who didn't drink. More drawn to this place because they have a menu that had legit sounding mocktails versus having someone whip one up at a random bar. The decor of the place is interesting, not necessarily my style but I enjoyed the furniture, the wall decorations, light fixtures, cool bookcase and baby yoda statues in the glass table. (Forgot to take pictures). Great spot for smaller groups 2-3 like many cocktail bars it gets difficult with larger groups. For the drinks, the group ended up ordering and trying 4x drinks: 1. Honey Bear - 4/5 - an old fashioned that's heavy on honey and a touch of spearmint. Very unique and refreshing for an old fashioned. 2. Chocolit - 3/5 - basically a cacao drink made from pure Guatemalan cacao, supposedly very caffeinated. Like a frothy chocolate drink that is more bitter than sweet. I don't think it was bad just not what I expected 3. Kin High Rhode - 5/5 - my favorite drink we ordered, basically was a non alcoholic Negroni but sweeter with rose notes. 4. Four Fiore - 4/5 - rose drink with lavender with a frothy texture from coconut cream. Very interesting and not as sweet as I expected (in a good way). Was refreshing on a warmer day. Between the amazing service, thought provoking coasters, artistic decorations, Honey makes you want to linger for hours. For snacks, try the cheese plate. Gluten free bread isn't great, but the cheeses (dairy free options available), beets and chutney are delightful. Almost everything is made in house. There is a small selection of unique, imported, hard to find liqueurs, that alone is worth returning for. Prices are reasonable for the area of Denver and quality of product.
