This is a nicely appointed breakfast and lunch place with good service and food. Menu has all the expected dishes. Pepsi place, but I won't hold it against them. Parking can be tight and it can be crowded on Sundays. I usually get the French Toast.

We went back for brunch on Sunday and loved the food again!!! Our waitress was very sweet and made our brunch enjoyable. There was a little wait for around 10 mins and we were seated promptly. I got the 3 egg scramble with fruit and got a side of pancakes. We got the pancakes upgraded to blueberry bliss pancakes. These are hands down the best pancakes we've had!!! We also tried the west coast crepe. The crepes were a little on the sweeter side. It was nice to try something new. We'll be back again!

We dined here for brunch on a random Sunday. It's busy but we didn't wait too long for a table. The service was quick and my mom and I enjoyed the food. I would recommend and we plan on returning. I wasn't in love with the coffee but the food was tasty!r

Not the best food I've had... but I didn't get their brunch food. I came here probably over 8 years ago, but I don't remember how the food was back then. Anyways, I got the Elote Burger. I decided I was going to troll myself and order something that has flaming hot cheetos on it. The burger looked and tasted like something out of a dining hall. The patty was dry and sad, just like a Sodexho patty. There were maybe 5 or 6 flaming hot cheetos. The bread was pretty good! I will say the fries were also very crispy. So it wasn't all bad. But neither is dining hall food. So... my verdict stands that their burgers are pretty much dorm food. This is corroborated by my girlfriend's Hawaiian chicken sandwich containing extremely dry meat and a sad-looking pineapple. My friend recommended the skillets, but I made the mistake of not getting those this time. Would I come back? Um... not in a rush to do so.

For drinks, I tried the lychee mojito -- it was strong but had really good flavor and was enjoyable. For an appetizer, we got the pretzels. They had a nice garlic seasoning on them and were pretty filling. These were good. For mains, we ordered the Hangover Burger, tenders, and the Bulleit Bourbon Burger. Everything was really delicious. My fries just needed a tad bit of salt, but the burger itself was cooked well (I asked for medium). The flavors were good, and the honey running down actually worked well with everything. Our waiter was also really good and provided solid service. Overall, a great experience -- will be back.

I shall start off with the average meat-eating omnivore. Options galore!!! Burgers, fries and appetizers for everybody! Vegetarians are delighted here as well Moving on to vegans such as myself... they offer a delicious and I mean SCRUMPTIOUS veggie burger that I would carry out or eat at a patio table anytime! One star off for the stink of cooking animal flesh which killed my appetite and the meaty appearance of everyone's burgers did as well. The star off is also due to their inability to provide any information at all about their French fries and the cooking oil used Vegetarians and those on diets did great with their salads and appetizers Celiacs only fair a very weak okay for the gluten-free options We came here as a large work group, and the service was EXCELLENT Atmosphere was not suitable - we would not return as a group. With all of the customers we could not hear one another speak. Add to that their overly loud music. The place was just TOO LOUD Look I offer the fairest Yelp reviews in all of the Yelp Universe 5-star food, 5-star service and 1-star atmosphere/ambience Sad to not return and I enjoy dining out and would not go through the Empire ordeal again. If I were ill, I would have my husband carryout a 3 meal enormous veggie burger from here and appreciate the yummy option xx Shelby S

I ordered the "Jane," which is a pretty standard burger with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. It was good overall and cooked well, but it wasn't anything especially memorable or the best burger I've had. One thing that surprised me was how limited the menu was considering how large the restaurant is. I expected a bit more variety. Overall, Empire is worth visiting for the atmosphere and rooftop experience, but the food itself was solid rather than outstanding.

My wife spotted this place across the street - Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay. How could we go wrong? Well, we couldn't. The interior was smartly outfitted - the lighting, the ceilings, the walls, were all classy and nicely done. Service was outstanding - water and soft drink glasses were refilled regularly, and the table checked for food quality on multiple occasions. I was intrigued by their Prime Rib Sandwich, which is served with onion crisps. I went for the $4 upgrade to Truffle Fries. The sandwich was LARGE, very tasty, and just plain wonderful to eat. The Truffle Fries added a bit of spice to the meal. My wife had their Fish & Chips. When I saw the sandwich on the side just coming out of the kitchen, I was wondering how she'd eat it, since the piece of fish was BIG. Like How Do I eat this BIG. She used her knife and fork and got the job done. Great food, great service, nice location right on Jefferson Avenue. What a great place! We'll have to come back for Dinner!
