Great happy hour with delicious cocktails! The staff is super friendly, and they accommodated our wild two family party of 10 with ease. The bar is cute and the ambiance feels like a neighborhood family restaurant. It was very comfortable and relaxed being inside. The kids love their food and we did too! I got a pizza, and it was delish. The Nashville hot fried chicken Sammy is GIANT! Husband loved it. The tots are more like hush puppies, but were very good. I didn't get the grits, but others did and liked them. I was always worried about the pizza crust because of all the added crust toppings. I went plain crust to make sure I could really get a feel for the crust and it was delicious! Super fresh, more thin crust, and not Neapolitan. Next time I will try a topping I think. I have been really enjoying Honey Seed lately. The first time I went I got a breakfast pizza. It was really filled with tons of stuff which was nice. I didn't care for the seeds all over the crust (and didn't ask for that) but otherwise the crust was good. I wouldn't order the breakfast pizza again, as it was a bit odd in my opinion, but the following time I got a BBQ chicken pizza which was great! I did get it without cilantro. The crust didn't have seeds this time so I got to eat it :) I also have had the fried chicken sandwich with the pimento cheese and bacon jam. It may be one of the best fried chicken sandwiches in town! The chicken is a pretty big piece and its cooked nicely. I also got a side of the tater tots which are incredible. They are not plain; they seem to have some seasonings and onion included. They are definitely something you'll need to try! If nothing else, try the tater tots! read more

Officially obsessed with Honey Seed. We live close by in the Southside, we went when they first opened and thought it was fine. We have since returned and have been blown away by the menu, food quality, the service... everything is fantastic and has its own wonderful spin-- in a delicious way, not an annoying way. Kass, and Kosha, and Jessa, you have made not just mealtime, but our entire day great when you've come to our table. Countless times. I feel like they're the backbone of this place having people return and staying so busy and profitable. I hope they're recognized and rewarded for it. #2 The Food and Coffee both, and WHOEVER is in that kitchen making them. They always tasted good but taste better every time we come back. Hot or iced coffee, amazing flavor mix. Omelettes are made by fantastic cooks. Hashbrown bites, insane. Even when I get a simple BLT-type panini for cheap, I share bites with other people while saying "This is the best sandwich I've ever had, am I crazy?" I don't know your cooks but genuinely they always Serve. Again, please show them this and reward them, I wish I could've told them myself. Your staff is incredible. I have never come here and not been treated like your servers' best friend, and that is so rare of service these days. Even the hosts are genuinely friendly and helpful. Our teenager always requests brunch spots and we usually turn him down because we don't care for overpriced breakfast food. While on vacation we decided to make a special stop here just for him and we're glad we did. While prices are on the high side they are reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food provided. The location was easy to find and free parking was available. The restaurant was clean and bright and wasn't crowded while maintaining steady business on our early Thursday morning visit. Our server was friendly, attentive and helpful with our questions and special requests. We were all very happy with our meals and would definitely recommend this restaurant. Food was alright. I ordered 1 of the burgers and was told I was going to get a smash burger style patty, it wasn't that at all. These were overcooked patties that were the size of a kidney stone and as thick as a steak. Didn't even come with a side, it was a 6 dollar add on. Our server was training and she did an alright job but the guy who was training her didn't really do the best at training her. It took about 20 minutes for our food to be ready so pretty good but by the time it was ready it took about another 7 minutes for it to make our way (it sat on the counter until then) there is no kitchen expo and the cooks had very little communication with the front of house so it was up to the servers to figure out where the food was going, they were definitely thrown to the wolves a bit. Not great experience over all, was with a party of 6 and 3 of us had particles in our water after we got a refill. My friend got the hot chicken Mac which had literally no spice whatsoever, it was extremely sweet and very peppery. Great environment though, I liked the set up and it felt like a nice place to eat out when you walked in initially. I'm giving it 3 starts because I think with a little bit of re working this place could be really good. read more

The best chicken and waffles I have ever had. Chicken was tender and waffle slightly crispy on outside. My daughter loved the Chicken Bacon Mac n Cheese with a rich creamy sauce. The tator tots were amazing! Best ever. The 2 am bagel was good, but small. The bagels are more bread like, less chewy. They are good for sandwiches, but you will be disappointed if you get one by itself. The bagels were the only disappointment to the meal. They are Montreal style. NY style is much better. Been waiting to try this place since the first sign was posted. This morning we finally got a to go order for breakfast. I had a sesame bagel with egg and cheese. I could not figure out how to order that though so I had to get (and pay for) the one with ham and remove the meat. Shame I had to pay for something I didn't eat but went with it anyways. The bagel was not toasted and had no butter or seasoning. It was very plain... It was honestly not that great. My husband got the 2AM on an all-dressed bagel. His definitely had more taste than mine did as it had more ingredients obviously, but also the bagel was better. We may give it another try, but I'd definitely go in person to order and see if I could get it more to my liking this time. read more

One thing Chattanooga has been missing is a good bagel spot, and I'm happy to report that has now changed! This new spot, opened by the owners of Stir, offers up Montreal style bagels and other brunch options. We went on opening day and they already had it running like a well-oiled machine. I ordered a sausage, egg and cheese bagel with a side of cheese grits and my friend ordered chicken and waffles. Both of us loved our meals, my bagel was perfectly fresh and the cheese grits are some of the best I've had. I'm so glad Chattanooga has this a breakfast option and I'll definitely be back in the future to try more! read more

I've never tried cream cheese like this before, very unique, with a slight sweetness to it from the honey. The jalapeño isn't overpowering and just has a hint of it. A little pricey when compared to the competition, and while I'm not convinced Montreal style bagels is a real "thing", they are good. HS has the best bagel and lox option in town, but if you're not there early, your bagel options will be limited as the available variety thru the day diminishes quickly. Love their breakfast options, particularly the French toast. Service is good, not great, due to some inconsistencies.
