Completely burnt pork in the vermicelli. can't eat most of it. Shaken beef was whatever as well, had better but wasn't burnt.

Visiting from out of town. Wanted a good bowl of hot pho and this place hit the spot pretty well. Got the Soda Chanh and that was super refreshing, the pho combo was great in terms of flavor and was filling. -1 on the star only because we ordered appetizer (grilled meat spring rolls) and that came out so late that we ended up taking the items home. They only brought it out when we went to pay our bill because we thought they forgot it (and we had been sitting there for quite some time too). Tasted the spring roll later in the night and it was still tasty, so in terms of food quality, it was good. This place falls pretty well into the typical stereotype of an asian mom-n-pop restaurant. You get your food and then ignored for majority of the meal. Expected but a bit sad since we had no water and kept having to go up to the counter to ask for water and lemon for our food. Restaurant was not too empty but not filled with people. It was a Sunday night so not sure how the traffic in there usually is. That kind of added to our "bruh" moments since the service was lacking. I'ma be real honest, probably won't come back. There are other pho places in the area and this one didn't stand out in either foods nor service for us to want to come back. Overall Rating: Food: 8.5/10 Service: 7/10 Menu: 10/10 Restaurant Vibes: 10/10 Price to Overall Dining (POD): 8/10

Been going there occasionally for pho fixes. Quick service, friendly people, and good food. Pho and fresh spring rolls -- a hearty and satisfying meal!

After visiting the 2024 Carvana PPA Tour VEOLIA LA OPEN in Fountain Valley, my eldest daughter and I were hungry. We thought we find someplace nearby to eat dinner before heading home. I wanted something soupy so Pho came to mind. I checked on Yelp and saw PHO 318 had 4.5 stars with some decent reviews. We were on our way here... Upon entry at around 6:00 PMish, there were no customers inside besides the people working here. But that didn't deter us from sitting down. Menu was very simple. The Pho comes in two sizes... small and large. I say go for the large... it's only $2.00 more. We got 1 Pho Rare Steak and Tendon for my daughter and 1 Pho Veggie for me with 1 ice water and 1 hot water. As for my Pho Veggie, I've had better broth. It was kind of bland IMHO... not savory and fatty at all. I understand it's a veggie dish, but menu says it has the same beef broth as the other Pho. The veggies and tofu were good though. My daughter liked her Pho, but she had the same sentiments on the broth as me. On the plus side, the veggies (bean sprouts, basils, limes) that came with the Pho were very fresh and abundant. Thank you! Staff was okay. Wait wasn't too bad. Atmosphere was bright. Good space of inside seating. Since we don't live in the area, we probably won't return here again. Do give them a try if you are in the area. You may like them. Happy Pho'ing!

This place was amazing and I will definitely be going back! I came at 1pm and we were the only ones there. We received our order very quickly and the portions were very generous.

Great new find in Santa Ana. Their restaurant was very clean and the waitress was kind. My vermicelli noodle bowl was absolutely perfect. Can't wait to try the pho!

Walking into Pho 318, my girlfriend and I were immediately struck by its inviting atmosphere and the irresistible scent of authentic pho. The dish itself was an amazing--rich, flavorful broth, tender meat, perfectly cooked noodles, and fresh herbs combined in a perfect harmony that left us craving for more. The warm, attentive service made our experience great. Pho 318 is not just a meal... it's a destination for anyone seeking authentic Vietnamese food in a cozy setting. We're already planning our next visit to try their vermicelli. They recently condensed their menu too.

Words cannot describe how much I cherish and love this place. Randomly found this place half a year ago, and since then, I come to eat here 1-2 a month. * The vibes? 100/10 Warm, comforting, a safe place. * The food? 100/10 Amazing. Delicious. Consistent. Gordon Ramsey would love this place. You know the meme, "Spectacular, give me 14 more"? This is it. * The service? 100/10 Kind and welcoming. Uncle & Auntie, I love you! Love your guys' food

Luckily, it happened to be happy hour specifically for the dish I ordered, so it was $13! The dish itself was good! The sauce was creamy (the eggs made it even creamier), and dipping my fresh baguette into it was soooo yummy! I added chili oil to it though for some spice. Delicious! The side of "salad" (a small plate of lettuce and tomato slices) was also nice to have. I ate it with a lot of the pickled garlic. Definitely a filling meal. The restaurant has a lot of seating, but it can get a bit warm. We were seated near the door but were feeling the heat throughout our meal! I don't think the AC was on, and there were no fans for air circulation. Props to the workers for working in a warm environment!

They have one of the best egg noodle soups around. The broth is perfectly balanced and well seasoned, the egg noodle is well made, with generous toppings. The dry version of the egg noodle is equally delicious. You can't go wrong with either selection. I'm always surprised at their affordable prices. These days you can't really get a good bowl of noodle soup for under $18-$20. Here you can get a solid bowl for just $8 during happy hour! Whaaat?! Crazy! That is such a great price that I almost feel like I'm robbing them. LOL. During this recent visit, I wasn't too hungry so I just got a small bowl of wonton soup for just $7. It comes with 5 pieces of wontons. The only disappointing thing was that it doesn't come with one of my favorite toppings - tóc mỡ. It would've cost $2 to add it. I really wish they did include it. I also got some grilled pork skewers. Though a little soft, they were pretty delicious - nicely seasoned, flavorful, and make a great appetizer. I also love that they're open late - till 11PM!

Massive parking lot so that was easy, one friend went ahead and let them know we had 10 incoming. They made room and we sat immediately. One of the spots that you scan a menu at the table and you review, order and pay all in the app. I was really not familiar with the line up and went with the "House Special Beef Pot Roodle" (Roodles are their rice noodles). It was a weekend only item and I tried that. The noodles came separate from the soup. Over all it was very tasty. The meat was a bit fatty and the soup had tendons too. I took that part home and my wife loved it. I tend to avoid the fatty meat and tendons are not good to me. 10 of us so some of the appetizers got passed around. The smashed cucumbers are excellent, and my buddy also got some friend potatoes of sorts, reminded me of a fat French fry. Because my buddy and I sat at the same table we scanned the same menu, he ordered a bunch of stuff and also House Special Beef Pot Roodle. That confused the kitchen and they asked me if I meant to order 2, I said no and didn't realize I cancelled my buddy's order. Part of the confusion of a large party and many scanned menu orders. My buddy was struggling to order and our initial waiter seemed to not understand my friend and that took a little bit to work out, young lady came from the back and was able to quickly resolve some of the confusion and get questions answered as needed. In the end he had lot of food to explore. One thing that caught my eye was several couples there and sharing a large soup item served with a tray of various food items for the soup. Kind of a date night visual and something that looked very interesting. Several couples around us had that same dish and its got me more curious. Might have to come back with my wife and try this one.

I ordered their most popular dish, the A1 set, but honestly, it didn't really live up to the hype for me. The broth tasted pretty underseasoned overall. From what I understood, you're supposed to mix all the toppings into the soup with the noodles, but even after doing that, I still felt like the flavor was lacking. Yes, they provide seasoning on the side, but personally, I wish the broth already had enough flavor on its own without needing to adjust it myself. Would I come back? Probably not. Nothing really stood out to me enough to return, and it felt more like a one-time experience. Overall, everything was just okay.

The cost of the pho is a bit pricier being around $20-25 compared to most places but as you would expect with the Wagyu cuts. I went with the combo and while the flavor was there, I was a bit disappointed with the texture of the noodles. I'm not sure if it was just that day, but the noodles were a bit too soft for my personal preference so it made it feel almost too mushy eating it. I did really enjoy the flavor of the broth though with a stronger hint of cinnamon than other pho spots. The restaurant offers toddlers their own complimentary pho which I appreciated so I could add as many jalapeños as I could into mine without worrying about making it too spicy for my son. The servers were friendly and overall enjoyed the lunch out.
