So why did we order from a chain when we were visiting Baltimore? Besides wanting to take it easy on the calories at lunch so I could splurge a little at dinner, I am always interested in trying new salad places. honeygrow is one we do not have in South Florida yet but it would be nice to have them! Besides salads, honeygrow has stir fries. You can order a one of their suggested recipes or build your own. Salads come with a base and three add ons. Proteins and premium add ins are extra. I built my own salad with romaine, tofu, broccoli, roasted mushrooms, crunchy chick peas, feta, blueberries, strawberries, glazed nuts, and a rose vinaigrette on the side. The veggies were all tasty. The salad really worked. My only feedback is that it would be nice to be able to order double portions of add ins. The salad also came squished in the bowl which made it difficult to mix. 15 year old really enjoyed his stir fry. Would definitely welcome a honeygrow in my neighborhood! read more

I've never heard of honeygrow before, but this was such a yummy spot. I got the rice noodles with buffalo chicken, the portion size was incredible and very filling. I did get the focaccia bread on the side for an extra $.65, I don't know for sure that it was worth it because I found the bread to be a little bit dry but If you dipped it in the noodle sauce it was better. The noodles were absolutely delicious. The veggies and seasoning and sauces or the perfect blend. I will definitely go back to try more spots. I wish I can say this was a good intro to the city but sadly this was not a fast food casual takeout place I'd recommend. We both ordered a noodle stir fry's: miso garlic and coconut curry. Both lacking in flavor, not remotely close to the Asian inspired flavors the dishes were calling to and the worst of all the noodles were SOGGY. Does not come with an order of hoisin sauce-- and i did not see where I could have asked for it in the app. I LOVE hoisin sauce, so was low key disappointed i couldn't add it to the order. I just found out today they they will even customize my Cobb salad with the Red Coconut Curry sauce even though it is not listed as a salad dressing on the app. These guys rock! read more

Cool had I been here before but considering it was my first time I was disappointed that no one greeted me when I walked in or asked if I needed any assistance or had any questions. I ordered a sesame garlic stir fry and substituted chicken for the beef. This was great. Cooked well and great portion size. I also had a health dessert option- cheesecake Honey bar. Although it tasted amazing, the portion size for $8 was not worth it. If the cup was full... I would totally get it again. I actually really like this place. I don't visit it often but when I do, I've always enjoyed everything I've tried. They are quick and their ingredients always taste fresh. My go to is their Spicy Garlic which I love. I've also tried a couple of the salads, their honeybar and their seasonal noodles. My latest one is the Chesapeake Crab. It had a decent amount of crab in it and I'm going to try to get it again before it's gone for the season. Highly recommend for a good and quick bite with their noodle and salad options! read more

Fast food stir fry. That's what we got. I'd recommend eating in. Food is served in a large bowl and the flavor comes together more. Orders are taken via a kiosk, and staff are always welcoming and offering to assist with options when pulling together a meal. The kitchen is open and you can see what's going on. Service is quick as ingredients are already cut and ready to be cooked. Seating is ample so there's no rush when settling in to enjoy your meal. Atmosphere is pretty standard and music is favorable. The few times I've ordered, I opted for take out. However this time, when eating in, I opted for soy sauce (and went light on it) I could have gone super light. This is a solid choice for lunch if you work near Harbor East or Fells Point. They offer fast noodle bowls and salads. I have tried the spicy garlic and red coconut curry. Both noodle bowls were flavorful and spicy. The flavors are what really stands out in both of these as the tofu isn't the greatest (still a little too tough in texture). Fast casual atmosphere. You can interchange everything on their menus or make your own salads/noodle bowls. There is minimal human interaction as you place your order on the touch screen (use hand sani after!) and then sit until your name is called or you are texted. If you're into that thing then this is the place for you just based on that alone. Otherwise, if you're looking for a more heart warming experience or one that isn't through the food supply chain then there are plenty of alternatives. If you decide to stop in the food is great but I would only recommend if you work in the area and wouldn't suggest you go out of your way to eat here. read more

I love this new area of Fells that they are developing. BF and I often go running on the new promenade loop they are building and every time I have passed Honeygrow I've been intrigued. We came in after a run pretty hangry. They have touch screen ordering which I love because I can take as much time as I might need to (helps when you're indecisive!) They have stir frys, salads, and a yogurt bar. They have standard menu items and also build your own options. I opted for a build your own salad, and BF got a build your own stir fry. I enjoyed the salad and loved that you could customize everything down to the amount of dressing. My big thing was I really didn't think it was worth the price tag-- my salad ended up being $12 and it was good but I'm like $12 for a big bowl of veggies?? Whenever I think of a quick service restaurant I envision it being more affordable but for me and BF the bill came to $26 (which yes isn't terribly expensive but in my book for "fast food" it is!) read more

I was told about this restaurant by co worker, Aaliyah is one of the team there and even on hard days the team and her have a great attitude. This is a restaurant tho so how is food consistently good I would say it is my favorite restaurant down town because every I have ordered has had a great flavor. As in each bite was evenly seasoned. My favorite drink was the "Mexican coca cola drink they had it is no long there " The drink complements the spice in the spicy garlic sauce. As to the price it is not not cheap it is one of the only restaurants where I have never walked out not feeling like I did not get exactly what I paid for and wanted if I am in a bad mood I go here because I can trust it will be a good Experience. The location of this place is great. It was easy to find free street parking. I like that everything inside is super modern including the menu! Ordering is so easy--all on a touch screen! I ended up creating my own pasta bowl--you can choose the type of noodles, meat, sauce, veggies. I love that it's chipotle style. I ended up ordering white grain noodles with chicken and tofu in the spicy garlic sauce. I love the spicy kick it had to it. I got the regular size bowl and it was very filling. Honeygrow seems to advocate for more healthy options--although the pasta that I had didn't seem "too healthy." There was outdoor seating, and it's so beautiful to sit outside on this side of the city. It's also super close walking distance to fells if you ever want to walk over for dessert. I ordered the create your own stir fry with egg noodles, roasted tofu, broccoli, mushroom, fried shallots and red paper flakes topped with their red coconut curry sauce. I feel this was completely bland, especially for it to be a curry flavor. Also, there were only 3 broccoli florets and the roasted tofu was definitely not roasted. Disappointed as I really looked forward to this. On the positive side, the portion is large and delivery was fast. My food didn't need to be reheated! Plus, they also remembered to include utensil (a lot of restaurants don't provide it for delivery). Not sure if I'll order from here again. Might try it out in person. read more

Ordered hours in advance and scheduled pickup at 7:45 pm. It was supposed to be delivered to me "CURBSIDE" After waiting a while, went in. Chaos. Everyone standing around. No social distancing. Really confused as to what was going on. Got my fruit bowl at 8:15 (30 min later.. cool.) I ordered a bowl with toppings. I assumed there would be some sort of base since I ordered toppings. Nope. I got a small bowl of bananas, grapes and apples covered in honey and topped with coconuts and chocolate that basically fell out on the table as soon as I opened my bowl.
