Delicious soft serve ice cream with honey and plenty of options to try. They were so busy when I came here and there was barely anywhere to sit but they kept the line moving and were very efficient behind the counter. Service was truly fast and the girly at the counter was knowledgeable and friendly. Decor is such a cute bee cafe
I've never had honeymee but my sweet tooth was talking to me and i stumbled upon this place after doing some research and i was not disappointed. I got the Matcha Honeymee and i was amazed by how delicious the ice cream was it was milky and had a light sweetness to it just how i like it not too sweet just that perfect mixture of creaminess and deliciousness, the matcha and honey enhanced the flavor and gave it a that extra kick in flavor it needed to stand out more i was impressed. The customer service was decent the staff were busy but they were fast to bring us our order overall the atmosphere was great i i like the decorations and the they even have a photo booth for the ladies and your loved ones i highly reccomend stopping by and trying the original honeymee.
It was my first time there and I was in-between sweetie and matcha sweetie. They had a buy one get one half off, therefore, my decision was easy! I felt like the sweetie was a touch better compared to the matcha sweetie. You can't go wrong with milk ice cream and honey. It was light with the right amount of sweetness. The cashier was quick and polite. The store was minimal but had the honeymee branding with plenty of seating.
So after a long and fun day I was craving something sweet and refreshing and thank goodness for Honeymee! The fun upbeat decor was instantly inviting with signage that pops and plenty of seating. The service was also surprisingly fast and courteous. I ordered the dear chocolate and man was it good. It was the per Dr size of being filling but not overwhelming. The ice cream was fresh and the chocolate sauce was the perfect complement. I also appreciated that even as the pace filled up we were never hurried or rushed and could stuck in traffic and enjoy our desserts. A great spot for something sweet!
What a cute place! Like many places in this strip it's not huge and gets packed fast but it's worth the trip. Since it was full we ordered milkshakes to go, a cookies and cream and misugaru. Both were soooo delicious and with me being lactose intolerant I decided to risk it all to try one and I was fine after which is rare (even with medicine) so that must speak to the quality of milk used? Or maybe it was so good if my stomach did hurt I didn't notice haha. The misugaru milkshake - True Milk Ice Cream Milkshake with Natural Raw Honey, Multi Grain Powder, and Roasted Brown Rice It tasted exactly like the description and I was so pleased. Definitely worth visiting again and again!
Although Honeymee is super cute and aesthetically pleasing, I wasn't too impressed by the ice cream. Unfortunately I only got one thing: the matcha affogato. I say unfortunately because I have nothing to compare it to. The honey drizzle was far too much which made the ice cream way too sweet. The matcha's earthiness helped balance the sweetness but not enough for my liking. The ice cream itself was really creamy, which I enjoyed. Its texture reminded me of Costco soft serve! Side note, I loved the spoon so much!! It's a super popular ice cream shop so it's usually packed in here, which is reflected in the parking. I had to circle around a bit but found a spot pretty close by. You order on a self-serve kiosk and the ice cream is ready pretty fast. I'd like to try Honeymee one more time but I'd probably get something else off their menu. Perhaps if I go here again I'd try the matcha honeymee just cos I think it would be more matcha-forward than honey.
Stopped by for a sweet treat after dinner. The establishment was busy for a Saturday evening. The cashiers greeted everyone with a warm welcome. For there to be only 2 people working they managed the rush pretty well. It was pretty noisey as there were larger parties and very bright inside. I ordered the Dear Caramel True Milk Ice Cream. The ice cream was rich and not overly sweet. I'm normally not a fan of salted caramel but it provided a nice balance with the sweetness of the caramel. The $7 price point was pretty good. I'd stop by again to try one of their matcha ice creams!
This is such a cute date night dessert place! They had a photo booth and a decent amount of seating, although it got a little busy on a Monday night. The original vanilla was SO good! It was rich from the honey and a perfect level of sweetness. The waffle cone had a good crunch. I wasn't a huge fan of the matcha sweetie but I think that's mostly because I don't like raw honey on things. Both were pretty large portions. Would definitely come back to try their affogatos and milkshakes
So glad there's a Honeymee in Texas now! Would love for the chain to expand into Dallas, but for now I'll try to stop by whenever I visit Houston. The soft serve at this location is a little icier than I remember from the times I've had Honeymee in Los Angeles, but the yuzu affogato was quite refreshing. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a nice sweet treat!
First off, the parking just sucks. If you know this location, you know the spaces are narrow, awkward, and just plain dumb. But I digress! I've only been here three times, and honestly, I wasn't completely sold on my first visit. In fact, it took me over a year to come back. But after my second visit, I returned the very next day. I can't believe I've been missing out! I love the small cup size!! it's the perfect portion of ice cream for me. The matcha was spot-on, and the drizzle of honey was such a nice touch. I actually prefer my matcha with honey! However, towards the end of the cup, the matcha flavor did get a bit too intense. Almost way too grassy for me! But thats the taste of good ceremonial matcha for ya!! The next day, I tried the regular affogato (I can't remember the exact name), and it also had honey. It totally reminded me of the Asian coffee hard candy. It had this creamy coffee-meets-caramel flavor that was so good! If I had to choose between the two, I honestly couldn't. So I suggest go with a friend and split both! They're both delicious. Also, I love the aesthetic of the shop. They have a fun photo booth inside, which is cute... but it takes up a lot of space. It gets a little awkward when it's crowded and there's barely any room to stand.
A soft serve ice cream shop! A good change up from all the ice cream shops in Houston. If youre looking for a 'lighter' smoother options for ice cream I would recommend going here! A variety of different soft serve ice cream served from matcha, to chocolate verisons, caramel. I got the 'sweetie' which consists of True milk ice cream with drizzled natural raw honey. Reminds me of Japan's soft serve ice cream and is smooth! I recommend it The ambiance of this place is pretty bright with a nice interior, they have a photo booth which is a nice touch. Place is usually packed on weekends. Parking Is absolutely terrible though so good luck with that.
The ice cream had great flavor and wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. I got the matcha and vanilla. Both were good, though I wish the matcha flavor were a bit stronger. It is on the pricier side for self-serve, especially if you add honey. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and we were greeted as soon as we walked in. The shop is small, so it's not ideal for large groups.

Lychee ade is straight up just sprite..Didn't taste like lychee at ALL. Waste of money. I would have bought a sprite if I wanted sprite lol read more
Staff members are very welcoming and friendly, we were greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. We tried the classic Honeymee (milk ice cream topped with a honeycomb chip). The presentation is cute, and I love the concept of having a honeycomb chip on top of the ice cream. It's a fun experience to eat the honeycomb. However, the ice cream itself is kinda bland, it tastes just like any other soft serve ice cream but not as sweet. For the price you pay, nearly $7, I would expect something more unique, portion size is small too. Parking is easy, and store is newly built. There are several other cool and new places recently opened in this plaza: street churros, sunright tea studio, and R&B tea. read more
I was so excited to try this place after hearing great things from a friend but unfortunately it didn't hit the mark for me. I decided to try the Sweetie as I wanted to taste what I'd consider a "classic" item on the menu. I was disappointed as the honey didn't taste very natural and it was only drizzled on the top/outside. The soft serve itself didn't have much of a flavor so coupled with honey, it just felt like it was eating something slightly sweet with no flavor. I wish the soft serve itself was honey infused with the honey drizzle on top. The location itself was very clean and brightly lit which was a plus and the service was good. I personally would prefer trying another dessert place in the heart of China town if you're looking for something slightly sweet. read more
Honeymee is a beautiful ice cream shop. When you first walk in you just say "wow this place is noiiiiiceeeee". And all of the staff were friendly and helpful. It's a cool little spot to hang out and you can even do a Photo Booth while you wait for your ice cream. But overall the ice cream is just expensive and nothing special. The portion size is small and I might have been better off going to baskin robbins. read more
A very nice and cute little shop with a variety of flavors- as soft serve and as milkshakes! We ordered the darling which is just milk ice cream and the matcha honeymee. The ice cream was smooth and sweet but I wish the matcha was a bit richer and stronger. Will come back again to try the other flavors though- it's worth to check out! read more
I've went the second weekend after opening with a group of friends after dinner. The owner was there (same as R&B) and asked if we were with a group (there was 20 of us). We said it was just a bday celebration. He told us if we come back the next day we could have free drinks. I came back the next day with about 5 others. The first day I got the honeymee, the second day the matcha honey latte, and the third time I went I got the honeymee again and matcha honeymee. The true milk ice cream is so good and the honeycomb and drizzle makes it even better. Super fresh, refreshing, and subtle sweetness that's real and not some artificial unknown substance. Great customer service here! My only complaint is the photo booth that takes up so much space (there could be two-three more tables there!). read more
The store just opened at Chinatown. The staffs are super friendly and have fast service. Their ice cream is not to sweet and creamy; however, it was not worth the price, $6~7 each. I like the decor, but it doesn't have much space to sit and hang out. read more
Matcha lover here and so glad I stumbled upon Honeymee while in the area. So many choices but I got the Matcha Sweetie. It's not an overpowering Matcha flavor but more like a Matcha Latte. Super delicious after store hopping in the area! read more

They use really good dairy but be careful if you're lack toes and toddler ants lol The matcha didn't taste like ceremonial grade it tasted like culinary grade which was a little disappointing but it was still good and I'd probably get it again nevertheless. read more

Went to their soft opening and the line was out the door. This place is beautifully design. They even have a picture booth inside. The workers were nice and even the owners were there talking with customers and directing traffic. Dear Caramel - Creamy and delicious, next time I will ask for extra caramel. Yuzu honey milk shake - sweet and creamy Matcha Honeymee - One of the best matcha flavor ice cream I have had and the chunk of fresh honey was the perfect topping. Service was super fast, barely a wait. Will be coming back to try the rest. read more
This was my first visit to Honeymee. The interior is cute, albeit small, with a photo booth where you can pay to take photos. The high music volume and general commotion made it a bit hard to converse, but socializing is doable. I ordered the honey affogato, and my friend ordered the yuzu affogato. I thought both were good. The yuzu affogato had too prominent of a honey flavor for my liking, but it was still good. The honey affogato was delicious. The honey blended in well with the coffee to make a delightfully smooth, sweet treat. While both of the items we ordered were good, I find it hard to wholeheartedly recommend Honeymee due to the price point. My honey affogato was $7.31 after tax. For that price, I feel I should have received twice as much dessert. If someone were to invite me here, I would definitely accept and love to try more items. Taking price and quantity into consideration, however, I wouldn't choose to come here on my own accord. Overall, I think Honeymee is worth a try if you're looking for some new H-town dessert. read more

Very yummy! I've never had a honey comb like this before so it was definitely an experience. The service was quick and kind and the inside is very instagrammable! There's also a life for cuts photo booth which I thought was really cute! Would come back again :) read more

I'm not a huge honey lover, but I really liked the addition of the honey in their specialty soft serves! It tastes like authentic honey and is not as sweet as I expected. I love their yuzu soft serve, but I wish they had more unique flavors. There were a bit too many matcha options that would be better replaced with other types of flavor. Despite that, I would still come back just for that yuzu ice cream! The service was quick and the staff was very friendly! read more
Wanted a little sweet treat and had to check out honeymee! We ordered the sweetie and the matcha affogato and they were superb. The service was fast and quick but the seating here is really tight. Overall would come back though mainly cause the ice cream was such a delight read more

They really out here charging us California prices anywho, it's a nice treat to get. Consistent taste with the other locations I've tried. I wish they put the cornflakes on top so I didn't have to dig to the bottom to eat it. Will I come back? Probably. Lol read more

Honeymee is probably my favorite soft serve spot! I first had them when I visited LA, and I'm so glad they opened a location in Houston. I love their matcha affogato which is their milk ice cream with ceremonial matcha and honey drizzle. The ceremonial matcha that's poured over hardens against the cold ice cream, providing a nice flaky texture against the smooth soft serve, and the honey gives it just the perfect amount of sweetness. The soft serve is just the right consistency between icy and creamy, helping it maintain its shape as you eat it. I'll definitely be back, and look forward to trying their other items! read more
I was so excited to try this place out and regret not coming during their grand opening for a promotional price. This place was a huge disappointment. The flavors just weren't there. The ice cream was more on the icy side and it wasn't milky or creamy. The portions were super tiny for the price. I left to Sunright right after and got 2 drinks for the same price so I would rather pass on this place next time or in general. I just don't think it's worth it. The yuzu ice cream was good but the matcha milk shake was just not good. As you can see from the color, it's not even green. There was ZERO detection of matcha. I went to the soft opening and I was surprised a lot of people had the same idea. The line was to the door and the tables were all filled up. The place itself was quite small but very well decorated and and sleek. They had a photobooth with such cute film strips that I had to jump at the opportunity. I wasn't a big fan of honey so I was glad to see other dessert options with other flavors. They also have non-dessert drinks. I got the chocolate ice cream and it wasn't too creamy as I know some people don't like that. The chocolate seemed to only be apparent at the top so once I reached halfway I was eating straight up vanilla ice cream. With the endless promotions I've seen (with R&B tea) I think I will consider coming back! read more

Ordered the matcha darling on a waffle cone. Took a few taste Lack matcha flavor. Not as creamy. There more ICE than cream in their ice cream So after a few more tasting I just trashed it. It has the green color but Can't really tell if it's even matcha. Lacks that creamy grassy taste of matcha. Didn't even smell like matcha too Hate to waste money but 7 bucks down the drain IMO I don't think it's good. Didn't get to try the waffle cone so I don't know if it's good or not. read more

Very aesthetic, and well designed store in Bellaire Chinatown serving soft serve and milkshakes! Came here for the first time after hearing a lot since their opening this year. Over it's very cute and the prices are not outrageous, the only downside for me is that they really only serve 2 flavors of soft serve, which I think is their specialty. The dress up the flavor with toppings and syrups like honey and matcha. Worth a try in my opinion if you stop by on a hot day! read more

The honey affogato is my favorite here! The ice cream paired with honey and coffee is a perfect combination. The matcha affogato is also great if you're a matcha lover. As for the yuzu affogato, it's just okay. The yuzu tasted like the premade jar you use to make tea with. read more
