Just tried this gelato spot for the first time in the Fenton Mall. They have a lot of variety of flavors and some good choices like cookie sandwiches and affogato. I had the mango sorbet and it was one of the best I have ever had. I went for two scoops and frankly it was more generous than I expected so next time I'd stick with one. The team - not encompassing but certainly including Bella, TJ, Colleen, Samia, Clara and Gio - is the most fab group of people I have met in my entire life. I'm pretty much obsessed with honeysuckle gelato. I rarely come to Fenton without getting gelato from here. It's conveniently located right in the middle of the Fenton district which I love and there are a few areas of seating outside available both bar stools and soft seating but the square is also very close by so you can get your gelato and go there and sit or walk around. The location is cashless so prepare for that. Now on to the good stuff, the gelato is amazing. I've had lemon blueberry basil and salted caramel brownie. The flavors are very pronounced and the toppings and ingredients are hearty.'I had whole pieces of brownie in my gelato which was lovely. A scoop is a healthy scoop, they don't skimp on the servings. The staff is always very pleasant and move quickly through the long lines. It's easily becoming one of my fav ice cream shops in the area. read more

The employee behind the counter was super friendly and was happy to let us sample as we wished since there was no line behind us. I sampled their cranberry goat cheese, peppermint, and honey ricotta pistachio. All were tasty, but I decided to go with my old faithful flavors of nutella and peanut butter. The gelato did not disappoint it was creamy and flavorful. The only downside is the shop does not have anywhere for you to sit inside. If it's a nice day/night Fenton has a stellar outdoor patio right in front of this gelato shop. If you want gelato and it's chilly out, you're just better off taking it to go. Holy vegan gelato! I'm always searching for the next best dairy-free ice cream, and Honeysuckle just stole my heart. Creamy, no aftertaste, so good. I was told that they usually have four vegan ice cream options and rotate by season. I got the peanut butter cup, and it was incredible. I've tried vegan ice creams all over the country and this rivals the all vegan Sweet Ritual in Austin (RIP, it closed 2022). Service was fast and friendly. I was greeted upon arrival by friendly, patient employees. The inside of the shop is small. The outdoor seating area was larger, but soaked at the time from the rain. They offer a variety of flavors and options. I was full from lunch so I decided not to try the flavors or purchase a cone. I eventually chose a pint of key lime pie. I'm glad I did since it was creamy, tart, and flavorful. The graham cracker swirl was perfect. The pints are pricy at $9. This may be the best Gelato I've ever had...the Brown Butter and Creme Brûlée was to die for. Creamy yet light yet rich yet flavorful, sweet yet not too oversweet. Fresh. Just divine. I went back in to get a pint but they didn't have pint containers that day (minor hiccup). RDU has really stepped up its ice cream / now gelato game!! LOVED this place. Tl;dr: Cute area, great variety of flavors, helpful staff Tried going to a Courage soccer game but was rained out so we decided to end our night with some ice cream. We saw that there was a gelato place nearby so we went to check it out. The area that the shop is in is in a upscale area with shopping and restaurants, but last night (Saturday night) it seemed very empty for 7pm. The shop is very cute and neat. There were three staff working when we stepped in so we were helped quickly. They had some signs posted about only two tastings per person, but our members let us take three since we were on the fence. I got the birthday cake, and my friends got the brownie and pistachio. The flavor was great! Rich and creamy, served with wooden "spoons" that were flatter than they were rounded, which is how gelato should be treated due to its higher melting point (affects scoopability). We all got smalls because it was warm and humid outside and it would have melted quickly anyway. This place is a gem, in a new and developing area! read more
