Ever drive to Atlantic City a little bit passed people's bedtime, but you haven't eaten yet? Look no further than Hong Kong House! My family had an issue with my choice of hotel, so we picked another one and it was late. HK looked much bigger on the outside, but I assume due to Covid, things had to close and downsize. Now, there's a take-out window with plexiglass between you and the worker. As far as I can tell, he was the only one, taking orders in person, on the phone and disappearing into the kitchen. The crab rangoons felt a bit small to me, but I have a huge appetite anyways. But the fried rice, beef w/ broccoli were very satisfying. I didn't feel groggy or anything after eating it. Had some of the baby corn with misc. veggies afterwards as well. Thanks for being opened late!

I found myself in Atlantic City, and famished. What was I to do? Get Chinese. Hong Kong House sprang to mind since they're infinitely better and less expensive than most casino offerings. I left the casino I was at, and walked four blocks over, braving slightly icy sidewalks and the biting cold. I stumbled in, bleary-eyed, and a friendly staffer took my order - and another's over the phone - while pouring a cup of hot tea for me. I left with a container of delicious hot and sour soup, beef and broccoli with beef fried rice, and four (count 'em!) large egg rolls. I met with friends back at the casino, and we devoured our spoils on the casino floor. (Luckily it wasn't busy. Besides receiving stares from floor staff, a passerby snapped a shot of us with his camera.) Hong Kong House remains my choice for refreshing Chinese (and not only take out), especially if you've been indulging in tasty root beer vodka.

Food was good and quick. I don't have any complaints about the food. Glad that this place is open late. Good to know for future trips to AC. The restaurant looks like a big take out place. Very old looking. I went there with my boyfriend at 3am and there was only 1 guy working in the front. He was taking the take out orders, delivery orders, and serving us in the dinning room. He was very flustered and made himself seem very busy. The service was so so. If I got back it would be because the food is pretty decent and that its the only Asian place opened late.

The setup of the store is nice, big and great for takeout if you prefer that. The view of the kitchen looked clean and well organized. The options here are great and the costumer service of the staff is what I enjoyed best. Everything was efficient and my food was prepared properly, not too rushed but also didn't take too long. Next time im in town I will definitely be returning here.

The family was craving chicken wings and wouldn't give me suggestions and so I got on my trusty iPhone and started looking for " the best chicken wing places in AC" .. Chef King came up multiple times ! I ordered for pick up the special " Aint no thang but a chicken wang " ( the listed special names are amazing ) for $7.50 BUT I subbed out the ride for French Fry's SO that cost $2.50 . Still not bad whatsoever and it's ALOT of food. I also ordered two Spring Rolls = $4 and this is my go to order at any Chinese restaurant : Crab Rangoon but here it was called : "Cream Cheese Wontons $6.25 aka Crab Rangoon served with Sweet and Sour sauce (is bussin on god on god)" You receive 12 of them and they are smaller than the regular wontons you would receive . The chicken and rice was the best out of the entire order and it was very worth it to pick it up and save myself the extra fees and delivery fees. Even though I have " dash pass " and this and that. I saved myself a lot of unnecessary wasted money . Also , on certain delivery apps that food costs much more than it did when you order directly from the restaurant or Google menu . Ordering through Grubhub everything came out to being about $10-$14 more- for some reason the prices of all the food items were higher Getting there was super easy and it is on a one way ( this is A.C now folks ‍) but it's Duck-town so it's a cool part to look a round and a couple nice shops to check out. Anywho , the people working there were polite and gave me extra of everything which NEVER happens and I really had a great experience. I wouldn't re order the crab Rangoon or spring rolls. It was extra fried and not "The best " it was more for the ones that can handle "heart burn city" and it did made me wish I was a " salad person " in those moments of chewing. But THAT Daily Specials chicken wings ( all white meat- yes sirrrr ) well the parts I got anyway and rice dish is a great last minute dinner pick up or a quick pop by to grab lunch without breaking the bank and the special seems to be ALL DAY! Please check out their Menu Specials on Google and how funny the titles of food and descriptions are !!! Very creative and that alone deserves a !

Chang's, so we were excited to give this location a try. Overall, we all enjoyed our food. Even on a holiday, we didn't have to wait long to be seated, which was a pleasant surprise. Matt did a great job serving us he was attentive, friendly, and quick with anything we needed. We never had to wait long for refills or requests. The only reason I'm taking off one star is because they didn't have sushi, which was something we were hoping for.

Management was nice enough to identify what she could have on our recent visit. The manager also said that the low sodium soy sauce they use doesn't have cornstarch in it. However, my question is; why can't the Chef or one of the cooks make, for example, fried rice using the low sodium soy sauce? Are they that bad that they don't know how to modify a recipe? I've been to many places that modify their menu to accommodate an allergy. I got the firecracker shrimp with brown rice. The shrimp was tasty but not as hot as i'd like it and a little on the sweet side. My wife did get a nice salmon dish which was fine for her allergy and she did enjoy it. Unfortunately we just had salmon the night before so she was looking for a change. The place itself looks great and the service was good for our large table.
