After patiently waiting for a good while, I had to try cutting into the conversation, but was totally ignored, so I left. I ordered take out from here. I ordered the General Tso's chicken combination platter. The chicken was bigger than any other I had ever had which at first I thought was a good thing. While trying to cut it up the texture was not like chicken at all & it was rubbery. Still giving the benefit of the doubt I tasted it and it didn't taste like any General Tso's chicken that I had ever had, It almost tasted like it was bad or old. I had my boyfriend try and he agreed. I don't know what it was but it definitely was not chicken. The one good thing about the situation was that when I went back they let me exchange it for something else even though they claimed that nothing was wrong with it. Delicious. Fast. Cheap. Had roast pork egg foo young with fried rice, barbecued spare ribs, and beef lo mein. All this for under $20. Cash only. It was ready for takeout before I knew it. I'm happy they deliver and will try delivery soon. This is a great place! read more

I can't believe the poor reviews on here! I've always had delicious food from China Inn! Personally, I think it's the best Chinese food in Atlantic City. Try out the boneless spare ribs! The white rice and pork fried rice are both great. They also have really good chicken and shrimp Lo Mein, and egg rolls are to die for! I'm a frequent customer and would recommend this place to anyone looking for takeout, as there is no space to eat in there. Stay away! If I could leave zero stars, I would. Went in there for a pickup order some time ago. I ordered a rice dish and a Wonton soup. When handed the order, I peeked in the bag and saw that there was only one packet of soy sauce. I politely asked for some more soy sauce, and the extremely rude (and very hostile) guy barked out "You want mo sauce, you pay more!" I did nothing to deserve this, and it was really disgusting. I have never had a Chinese restaurant give me one packet of soy sauce for the whole meal, and refuse (ask for money) to give me more. So I got upset and told him to keep the food and just give me my money back. He said the food was already made and refused. It was late, and I really didn't feel like making a scene, so I just took the food and left. Not only that, but the guy tried to short change me on my change when I paid. I don't remember the exact amount, but I gave him a twenty, and he only gave me the bills back, and not the coins. It was only like 30 cents or something. I had to ask him where the change was, and he acted annoyed (like I did something wrong) and begrudgingly opened the drawer up and gave me the amount I was owed. It was towards closing time, so maybe he had a long day and was in a bad mood, or maybe he was upset that I asked for the rest of my change. Will never go back to this place again. Just thought I'd share this now that I am reading up some other restaurant reviews here on Yelp. read more

Wow, whoever they have taking orders over the telephone Tama who is a female who sounds like she's middle-aged, has to be one of the rudest, nastiest, disrespectful person I've ever spoken to. Just simply put it, I called to add on to my order for delivery, and inquired about a hot and sour soup. I asked her how much the hot and sour soup was, inquiring on the size and the price for each, and because I didn't understand her broken English, she proceeded to scream at me, what is wrong with you? Also, by this point, I had been waiting close to an hour, and this order was placed around 3 in the afternoon, so I seriously doubt they were busy. After He barked at me, she slammed the phone down and hung up. When the food finally did get there, it was cold, lacked texture and flavor, and to add insult to injury, I asked for extra duck sauce, and was given two packets or a combination plate to be split by two adults. I wish Yelp offer the option of 0 Stars, cuz that's exactly what would describe the service, the attitude of of the employees. read more
