    Poke Bowl

Good food at the resort, but service was a tad slow when there wasn't any line. Got two Poke bowls and a side order of fries. The fish and side greens are great, but the rice was mushy. As for the steak fries amazing flavor, texture, and size!

Just a heads up about the Family Dinner specials. It is awesome‼ We ordered the 2 person as didn't feel like going out and fighting the crowds and it was sooo delicious. The Hulu Hulu chicken and bbq Kahlua pork are amazing and roasted veggies with white rice and mixed greens were all wonderful and plenty of food for leftovers or 4 people. Highly recommend-this is the 2nd time ordering for us

3.5 stars. I was surprised by the quality of our meal since this is essentially a small convenience store inside a resort. We ordered two burgers. They were grassfed meat (a plus!). My husband was not impressed because he felt like it was a reheated patty. I chose fruit for a side and hubby got chips. We both felt satisfied with plenty to eat. The downside was the price, both coming in at over $20. We could have gotten a similar meal with higher quality ingredients from Monkeypod a few miles away, but ultimately, we enjoyed the convenience of not having to leave the resort and being able to watch the sunset from our lanai as we ate.

Taste delicious Very convenient while staying at the Residence. The pool and restaurant is just next to each other. They have a lot of choices from the menu.

Mark and the staff working this morning were great! Super friendly and helpful. Went the extra mile for me! Thank you guys!

Egg, cheese, bacon, and sausage sandwich, warm. Enough to feed 2 if you are not a big breakfast person. It was pretty good for $11

Love the coffee. The Hawaiian coffee is a favorite of mine and my wife. The service is always great.

Food was underwhelming and service was lackluster. This hotel food is not a great example of what Maui has to offer

As a vegetarian, I asked the waiter what I could order and they said they could make pad Thai, Singapore noodles, garlic noodles, vegetarian. We ordered the green beans, appetizer and the Singapore noodles vegetarian both were excellent!! The Singapore noodles are a bean thread noodle with egg and tofu and bell peppers and tiny limes. I think were calamansi-- just delicious!! The green beans came with crispy, garlic, and spicy Fresno peppers on top and we're cooked to a chard perfection. Would definitely return. The restaurant was completely empty, yet the host told us they were fully booked for the entire evening and would not even allow us to put our names on a waiting list. We stayed nearby for another 30 minutes and watched only a few tables be seated while most of the restaurant remained empty. When we asked again, we received the same response: "We're fully booked." I understand that reservations need to be honored, but refusing customers while an empty dining room sits unused is frustrating and sends the message that appearances matter more than hospitality. No matter how good the food may be, treating potential customers this way is disappointing. Businesses that turn away willing patrons without reasonable accommodation risk losing not only those customers, but also the goodwill that helps them succeed.

We started with some clams, and for that price you only got like 6 clams. Knowing that now I would skip! Stick with just a salad and entree. We got the Caesar salad, it was pretty good. My entree was the ahi tuna slightly seared. This restaurant is one of the only places I know that can cook an ahi tuna right. Other places we've been too tends to overcook it. Hula grill got it right. It was delicious. My husband got the Mac nut fish, and he said it was ok. He said it needed a better beurre Blanc sauce. Maybe with some citrus. It lacked flavor. But the best thing here was the kids menu. When we went they had a $20 petite filet with mash potatoes. It was perfectly cooked. My 2 year old ate ALL 4oz of the filet! It was that good. I tried a little piece and hot damn, what a deal. The best kids menu deal when they have it available! Get it. It was our anniversary, so the server gave us a celebratory hula pie. So good. So today we walked over to check out the Ulu Kitchen located in the Westin Maui. Short walk from the Marriott Maui Ocean Club down the pathway. Sat on the deck overlooking the beach and took in the ocean breezes. Staff were very attentive and quick to get us settled in to our table. Our server Brandon happily took our drink order bringing back some amazingly cocktails. The Mai Tai had a decadent foam on top unlike your normal Mai Tai that truly made the cocktail unique. Brandon took our order and we took in the beautiful Kaanapali coast and people watched, our food came and we started with a Tako (octopus) prepared in an escargot style served with house made focaccia bread. Great way to start and the sauce full of garlic and butter. The salad was great with the option of chicken or local fish and I took the fish. The smash burger was da bomb! Great quality beef on A soft brioche bun, the French fries had a unique flavor twist prepared with a little rosemary, very good. Loved the feel of the room (if you call it that-solid roof flowing onto lattice and then palapa style umbrellas and completely open on 3 sides. Great music in the background with the ocean views ocean breezes superb cocktails and delizioso food. This was our "Linner" late lunch and early dinner. Bravissimo Ulu Kitchen not only will we be coming back and staying at the Westin we will be coming back to your cucina to dine again. Mahalo Nui Loa. Ciao

For breakfast, I got the Pete's Benedict and The Cure twice. Pete's Benedict was good, rich hollandaise sauce but couldn't eat it more than 1 day. The Cure is their version of ramen noodles with an Hawaiian twist, they put Kailua pork for the protein, along with an fried egg, and a bunch of veggies - carrots, bok choy, mushrooms, bean sprouts and onions. It was salty, but really good for a night of drinking. It's literally called the cure because it cures hangovers. lol. It was delicious. My husband got the blueberry and lilikoi pancakes one day, it was really good, very Hawaiian. And the kids menu was eggs, bacon and 3 fried potatoes. My toddler enjoyed it every day. They don't serve drinks until 8am, due to state laws. For HH we got the famous mai tai with lilikoi foam, they didn't do it well here. It was too much lemon, felt like you were drinking only lemon juice with some rum, but the lilikoi foam was consistent and good. Skip the mai tai and go to MonkeyPod, bartenders are more experienced there. Overall, we enjoyed breakfast here everyday.
