Also the amount of pepper on it was Ludacris like you could see black specks everywhere it was so peppery. It's supposed to be sweet and sticky and that was not it. I ordered the Sah cha shrimp and again it was three shrimp with a whole bunch of big vegetables. The Ho Fun was a glob of stuck together overcook noodles. No sauce as far as we could tell unless it's just soaked right in and made everything sticky although we only were eating 10 minutes after we picked it up. Spring rolls and egg rolls nothing to write home about - may have been purchased at a restaurant warehouse. Subgum wonton soup had good wontons but only a couple tiny shrimp a few minor strips of pork and I mean like shaving strips and a whole bunch of broccoli and other stuff vegetables which is not typically subgum wonton. When I arrived at my hotel room and opened the weighted take-out bag, I was surprised to see a large bowl instead of the usual cardboard box for my Szechuan chicken. The accompanying rice was in a box though. The Szechuan chicken was super-hot in temperature and extra spicy as ordered. Normally, when you ask for extra spicy the restaurants are fearful to actually make it so. Maybe it was the double extra, extra that clued them in. But it normally does not work for others. The Szechuan chicken had a lot of vegetables (green/red peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, baby corn cobs) that make me feel better about eating Chinese food. The vegetables were not only abundant but fresh looking and cooked thoroughly. There was also plenty of white strips of chicken to enjoy with all those vegetables. My only negative was that for it to be that piping hot, it had to be microwaved. Not sure if it was done in a wok earlier and then reheated, but that is my assumption. I am in search of good egg rolls. I travel frequently and like to try different Chinese restaurants in different cities across the U.S. Good egg rolls are very difficult to find. A+ for that, but C grade for the filling. The filling did not have much flavor overall and with the shell being dry, the filling needed moisture. Oh well, the search continues. They do have seating for around 50 people and it appeared clean from my brief exposure to the restaurant. The woman at the counter was friendly and spoke perfect English. The price for the food was fine, not too expensive and not cheap. I would return to Chopsticks to try out other items next time I am in Rochester.
