I recently came here and I had a good time but a week later, I get a suspicious activity alert from my bank that someone is trying to use my card. This is the only establishment that I have given my card to where they had to walk away and swipe it. I very rarely use this card, and the only place I've used it within the last two weeks Is this hookah lounge. I strongly believe that they are taking photos of the customers cards. This place is so great everything is reasonably priced the atmosphere is chill and the staff is very attentive and they are open during covid-19 thankfully. Did someone say video games and hookah?! Visiting all the way from Las Vegas, all I can say is these guys can throw down! My friends wanted to go out and chill somewhere and thankfully we saw this place on Yelp. I was diggin their lounge like lighting and variety of music for everyone to enjoy upon entry. John had the pleasure of setting us up. They have a great variety of hookah flavors to choose from and gave us recommendations that were on point. We had a mint and fruit hybrid to enjoy while we waited for a TV to open up for some video games. From old consoles like Nintendo 64 all the way up to the new stuff, these guys have it. In Vegas, BYOB is frowned upon in most places Lol. Having that option here definitely made things more relieving knowing you don't have to overpay for drinks at a bar. There are also snacks to purchase at the front counter which was very convenient. Customer service is big whenever I walk into an establishment. Well I'm here from Austin and is in desperate need of Hookah. I read the reviews on this place and it pretty laid back and chill. Variety of music not too loud, plenty of seating and not to mention Jordan's hospitality was superb! $3 charge for BYOB. I also like how they label which Shisha is stronger than others and if you make your own flavors they can add tobacco to make it stronger. The Shisha is great cloud of smoke and Jordan is pretty attentive with replacing the coals. read more

Pros: Best shisha I've had in town. Better then Naara, Shisha Cafe or our homemade one. They use Kaloud heads and other things that make it super smooth and it lasts very long. After 3 hours it was just as good as when we got there. Amazing service. Regularly checked in to make sure we were doing OK. Checked shishas to make sure they're good, and refreshed coals regularly. They even freshened up the tobacco! Amazing. Super friendly and helpful staff. Couches. TV's. Video games. Cons: Limited food menu (snacks). No diet drinks. But they encourage you to bring your own food. Also BYOB if that's your thing. The area is not the best, but once you're inside you don't feel it at all. read more

This is as good as it gets for hookah in San Antonio and probably in any other city that I've lived in (there's better atmosphere at places like "Ranosh" in Houston, but not every place can be an entire corner lot of wooden deck populated by friendly cats). The music isn't so loud that it's overbearing, there's video games to play and several different types of couches and beanbag chairs sprawled out. They have the best hookah flavor selection I've ever seen and even offer Fumari, which if you haven't tried it, is probably the king of long lasting flavors that are strong tasting but not too harsh. The waitresses an waiters are super attentive and even come over to try your hookah periodically to make sure it's working right. Even though there are definitely regulars whenever I go there, you never feel like they're getting better service and you also never feel patronized by the staff when you're asking questions. I've been smoking for a long while and I don't want to be treated like an idiot about it. I've never waited for longer than a few seconds for someone to greet me at the door and I am going to keep coming back here. read more

I happened upon Hookah Harem on a business trip to San Antonio. Seeing the favorable Yelp reviews along with many others, I decided to give the place a try. The location: Hookah Harem is located a bit off the I-410 loop, in a strip mall...for a visitor to the city it was fairly easy to find (at least with GPS!). The prospect: Upon entry, the interior is colorful with various leather couches everywhere. I was immediately greeted by the owner and his staff. I was particularly impressed by the friendliness of the staff, along with the staggering amount of shisha choices that they offer. After placing my shisha order, my hookah was brought out quickly and remarkably, most of the equipment in use, are things that I actually own for my own hookah set-up. The Tangiers shisha I had was expertly prepared by people who know and love hookah. The hookah experience: In a few words, second to none. I've been in my share of hookah lounges in my day and the Hookah Harem gets it right. From the sheer variety of shishas, in varying strengths, to the friendliness of everyone (a special shout out to Jason, who sat and smoked with me for a hour). Jason was very attentive to the hookah I was smoking, replacing the coals as required. The atmosphere: Good, and very colorful! There are lights along the walls which lend a very interesting experience to the place. This place is awesome! One of the few places to stock tangiers tobacco along with many other brands. One of the most extensive flavor lists between Austin and San Antonio! Furthermore the staff is super attentive and friendly, they stay on top of coal switching and ensuring you get the best smoke possible. All the hookahs and hoses are high quality! You won't find those lame knock off hookahs other places use here. The icing on the cake is being able to sit back, have a beer (It's byob with a tiny fee) and play some video or board games with your friends. Multiple tv's at all the couches equipped with Xboxes. By far the best hookah bar I have ever been to. Definitely geared more toward the younger crowd. So many games to play on Xbox and PlayStation. It definitely get crowded later and it's first come first serve. The mixes are amazing. Just tell them what you like and they will make an amazing mix. If you don't like it they will fix it for you. They are to most knowledgeable hookah place Ive been to not only would you get great clouds they explain everything to you in detail on how a hookah works from the bowl to the sisha that goes in it. Awesome hookah place! Staff is friendly and always down to help, no matter what it is. If you have questions about anything they will go out of their way to get you the info you're looking for. They check on you and always make sure everything is going smoothly. Usually the music is good, but it can get a little loud. Just sit away from the speaker if it bothers you, and you'll be good! They have a huge selection of video games too. On top of that, they also have a huge selection of flavors to pick from.
