baby fist sized home made dumplings

A hole in the wall, no frills gem that is all authentic, delicious Korean food. Their dumplings are the size of baby fists, stuffed full of filling with super satisfying filling to wrapper proportions. Sujebi and kalguksus were delicious and the perilla broths were so aromatic. Kimchi here was delish and kept getting refilled for us. The Korean Auntie who works there was super sweet. Parking is abundant.

5/5! This authentic Korean restaurant is a hidden gem, specializing in Mak Guksu -- hand-pulled cold buckwheat noodles that are incredibly refreshing on a hot day. The flavors are spot-on, and they also offer a huge variety of other traditional Korean dishes that taste just like home cooking. Both the owners and servers are super friendly, and the service is attentive without being rushed. Highly recommend coming here hungry, ordering the Mak Guksu, and trying the flat pan-fried mandoo -- crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside!

A unassuming restaurant that served up one of the best home style meals I've had. Kalguksu is their specialty and man was it one of the better ones I've had. Warm, freshly made broth mixed with perfect textured noodles and MASSIVE dumplings combine for a meal that reminded me of traditional cooking. Goes to show that you can't judge a restaurant by just the outside. If you are looking for a great, homestyle, warm meal, look no further!

This is my go-to spot in Buena Park, especially when I'm craving Korean noodles. This time, I ordered 들깨수제비 & 쫄면 plus grilled mackerel to go. You can't go wrong with anything on their noodle menu. I just wish this place was a little closer to where I live so I could visit more often! One of my favorite spots to get their Korean pulled dough soup (soojebee)! Growing up, that was my favorite childhood dish. I was never able to find a restaurant that made it spicy and the spice hits the spot. It's kimchi broth with a nice throat hitting spice. The kimchi pulled dough soup is definitely my favorite but they also have an option where they can combine it with the noodle soup (kalgooksoo)!! My two favorite Korean soups combined into one?! Say less. They have really good cold noodle option as well! It's a pretty small restaurant with only a few tables and the service is alright. Every time I went, I noticed it was just one server. This is definitely the spot to go to if you're in the mood for some nice warming soup or for nice cold noodle on a hot day!

first time trying this restaurant and wow... i wish i tried it sooner... i am a huge dumpling fan and was satisfied by their fried dumplings. it seems like they make their own dumplings in the store! their kalguksu and spicy noodles were outstanding! they give extra cold broth for the spicy noodles and it's so gud can't wait to come back!!

    Kimchi kalguksu

Comfort food done so well. The kimchi kalguksu is a large bowl. The noodles are soft and chewy. The naengmyun broth has flavor as well. Be warned, the kimchi and radish kimchi are medium spicy! Not for the timid spice eaters.

One of my favorite noodle places! It's a small hole in the wall in the 76 gas station plaza. Love their makguksoo (cold noods), soojebi, and kalguksoo. All the noods are delicious. Be sure to order a side of their fried mandu, so crispy and chewy. All dishes come with a side of kimchi and kakdugi (radish). The servers are nice, but you need to call them over if you need refills on the side dishes.

They offer valet parking at the entrance, along with additional parking around the corner. Since this place gets very busy, I'd recommend arriving early to avoid a long wait. This is a great spot for large groups and celebrations. The menu is designed for family-style dining, so you can order several dishes to share with everyone at the table, or you can order an individual entrée if that's more your style. Despite the packed dining room, the service was quick and attentive. Our food came out surprisingly fast, and the staff kept everything running smoothly throughout our meal. The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Combined with the lively atmosphere and efficient service, it's easy to see why this restaurant has become such a popular destination. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. Me and my friends watched the whole thing while we were just trying to enjoy some drinks at the bar. It was so disgusting, my friends wanted to pay and leave quickly but NO theres no way im paying for the drink i only had a couple sips of and couldn't finish. So i told the manager, didnt pay and left. He was not shocked ... wonder why. And now im just telling all my close friends not to go here... digusting.

I love that you order off their kiosk which is conveniently located at the table already. The staff was quick to bring out the banchan. To start, we shared their leek pancake and pork blood sausage. For my lunch I went with their cold noodles since it was a cold day. The people I came with had some pork spare ribs, which came with rice and bone knee soup. And a bibimbap. The leek pancake was the best thing there. The pork blood sausage was more of rice noodles rolled up with pork blood flavored. I can't imagine it being much portion. Eveything else was bland which we all agreed to. For my cold noodles I added plenty of vinegar and mustard but it was not it. Still lacked flavor. Also it only had half a boiled egg and two verythin slices of beef. The pork was over cooked, dry, and lacked flavor. The bibimbap was also bland even with their red sauce. We we were all disappointed. The pricing is affordable. The staff was nice and quick. They made sure to check up on us. Parking here is a tough even though it was a weekday. Their lot was full and you can park next door but by the dental office but that was also full. We waited a little and eventually found parking. The restaurant is very casual, clean and spacious. This was just really meh to me.

Not only was I completely stuffed by the end, but every course felt so thoughtfully selected that I left feeling truly nourished within my body and soul. We ordered the Premium Han-Jeongsik, which featured a non-stop parade of incredible small plates: porridge, salad, radish water kimchi, spicy beef tartare, pan-fried sliced beef, braised short ribs, glass noodles with assorted vegetables, savory pancakes, seasonal scallops, and a rich kimchi stew.
